Abstract

This study aims to evaluate end-user satisfaction with the online exam e-learning website at SMK Pelayaran Ampari Jayapura using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method. The EUCS framework consists of five key variables: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 60 active students who had used the website for online examinations. The data analysis results show that the average scores for each variable are as follows: content 3.97; accuracy 3.88; format 3.85; ease of use 3.90; and timeliness 3.83. Among these variables, content received the highest score, indicating that the information presented on the system is perceived as relevant and useful by the users. On the other hand, timeliness obtained the lowest score, highlighting a need for improvement in the system’s responsiveness and punctuality in delivering information or access to exams. The overall average score of 3.89 suggests that users are generally satisfied with the system. Based on these findings, it is recommended that improvements focus on enhancing system performance, particularly in terms of access speed, exam scheduling, and user interface features to make the platform more interactive and responsive. The results of this study are expected to serve as strategic input for system developers and administrators in improving the quality of e-learning services, especially for the effective and efficient implementation of online assessments in vocational high school settings.

Abstract

The distribution of refillable gallon drinking water is a vital component of the logistics system for essential community needs. Efficiency in distribution, particularly transportation cost efficiency, is key to ensuring all demand is met at the lowest possible cost. This study aims to evaluate the cost efficiency of transportation distribution from Depot Bunga in Entrop, Jayapura, to three demand points: Gang Kelor, Gang Jambu, and Gang Kelapa, using a transportation model with the Least Cost method. This method is selected for its simplicity and effectiveness in producing an initial allocation solution that is close to optimal. The data used include the delivery capacity of three couriers, the demand at each gang, and the cost per delivery route. The results show that all demand is fulfilled with optimal utilization of each courier’s capacity, and the minimum distribution cost reached is IDR 202,000. This study confirms that the Least Cost method can serve as a practical basis for effective and efficient daily distribution decision-making in small and medium-sized businesses.

Abstract

The distribution of fish catches by traditional fishermen in coastal areas such as Mandala Village, Jayapura, is a vital activity that supports local economic stability and food security. However, an inefficient distribution system often results in wasted costs and time, as well as reduced fish quality due to delays in delivery. This study aims to design an optimal distribution model by applying a mathematical approach through Vogel's Approximation Method (VAM), which is an initial solution method in transportation problems that considers the highest opportunity cost penalty in each allocation iteration. Data were obtained from field studies, including supply capacity from three main points (Hamadi, Abepura, and Kotaraja), demand from destination stalls, and distribution costs per kilogram. The model was analysed manually and validated using QM for Windows software to ensure the accuracy of the results. The results of the study indicate that the VAM approach is capable of producing a minimum total distribution cost of Rp4,280,000, reflecting significant efficiency compared to the conventional system. Therefore, the application of VAM is recommended as an adaptive distribution strategy that can be integrated into small- to medium-scale fisheries logistics systems in coastal areas.

Abstract

The toast business in the Waena Perumnas III area, Jayapura City, is still using a manual management system in its operational activities, such as recording sales, managing menus, and compiling payment reports. This conventional process often causes various obstacles, such as recording errors, late reports, and difficulties in monitoring stock. This study aims to design and build a web-based management information system that can help facilitate the management of the toast business to be more efficient and organized. The method used in developing the system is Waterfall, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. This system provides features for managing sales data, raw material stock, and transaction reports, and can only be accessed by admins and cashiers. It is hoped that with this system, the operational process of the toast business will be faster, more accurate, and more integrated.

Abstract

This article discusses the strategic role of Christian Religious Education (PAK) based on practical theology in shaping students' discipline and spirituality amidst the current of globalization and moral crisis. Religious education is not only understood as doctrinal teaching, but as a process of life transformation that touches on cognitive, affective, and conative dimensions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library study method, analyzing various theological and Christian education literature, as well as observational data from learning practices in Christian schools. The results of the study show that the integration of faith values ​​into the curriculum, school culture, and teacher role models can foster discipline as a form of spiritual awareness, not just formal obedience. Meanwhile, students' spirituality is built through a personal relationship with God expressed in prayer, worship, service, and social ethics. Practical theology becomes a bridge between faith and everyday life, helping students actualize Christian teachings in real terms. The conclusion of this article emphasizes that the implementation of PAK based on practical theology is very relevant and urgent to create a generation that is strong in faith, character, and social responsibility. The contribution of this research is expected to be a reference for Christian schools in building an educational ecosystem that humanizes the whole.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the role of Christian theology in building and maintaining religious tolerance in Toraja, a region known for its religious diversity and rich local culture. The main problem studied is how the church and Christian teachings can respond to social dynamics and the challenges of modernization without losing the values ​​of love and peace. The method used in this study is a literature study, by reviewing related theological, anthropological, and sociological sources. The results of the study show that the contextualization of Christian theology based on local values ​​such as mutual cooperation, respect for ancestors, and togetherness, can strengthen the practice of tolerance in a pluralistic society. In addition, the local church has been shown to play a strategic role in education, social services, and interfaith dialogue. This study emphasizes the importance of an open, inclusive, and contextual theological approach as an effective means of maintaining harmony between religious communities in Eastern Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of Christian religious instructors in shaping the religious character of inmates in Class IIB Penitentiary in Mamuju Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library study method. Data were obtained from various relevant literature such as books, scientific journals, and religious documents that discuss the role of instructors, character building, and the dynamics of spiritual life in correctional institutions. The results of the study indicate that Christian religious instructors act as agents of spiritual transformation through pastoral care, spiritual guidance, and comprehensive faith building. Religious character is formed holistically, covering cognitive, affective, and real-life aspects of inmates. Obstacles in implementing counseling include limited facilities, bureaucracy, and the lack of number and competence of instructors. However, counseling has been shown to have a significant impact on the process of repentance, behavioral change, and readiness of inmates to return to society intact and with dignity. This study recommends strengthening the synergy between the government, church, and community to support sustainable religious counseling in correctional environments.

Abstract

Efficient distribution is a key component in modern logistics systems, especially in food industries such as bread factories. This study examines the application of Vogel's Approximation method in the optimisation process of bread distribution from PT RotPak, located in Waena, to a number of demand points. This method was chosen for its ability to produce efficient initial solutions that are close to the optimum. The calculation results show that the total distribution cost can be minimised to 510 cost units. This study contributes to data-driven distribution decision-making and heuristic methods in small and medium-sized industrial environments.

Abstract

Distribution is an important part of the logistics system that affects operational cost efficiency, especially for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the food sector. This study was conducted at the MSME Rumah Tempe Barokah Jaya in Jayapura City, which produces 650 packs of tempeh per day and delivers twice a day: 300 packs in the morning and 350 packs in the evening. The tempeh products are distributed to three destination points: traditional markets, catering businesses, and mobile vendors. The main challenge faced is the high distribution costs, particularly due to the varying distances between destinations. This study aims to minimize total transportation costs using the Least Cost Method. The solution was implemented using Python programming language with the linear optimization library PuLP to determine an efficient shipping allocation based on a cost matrix. The analysis results show that this method can optimally allocate shipments according to the capacity and needs of each destination, thereby minimizing total distribution costs.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of library website quality on user satisfaction at Sepuluh Nopember Papua University. In the digital era, libraries no longer function solely as repositories of physical collections but also as integrated knowledge centers with digital services. The library website has become an essential component determining the level of accessibility and user satisfaction with library services. This study implements the End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method with five measurement dimensions: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. The research involved 107 respondents consisting of 85 students, 21 lecturers, and 1 library operator. Data was collected through questionnaires using a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed using quantitative methods. Validity test results indicate that all question items are valid with r-calculated values > r-table (0.191). Meanwhile, the reliability test yielded a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.91, demonstrating excellent internal consistency. Based on the analysis results, the accuracy dimension received the highest score with a total score of 445 out of a maximum value of 500, followed by format, ease of use, content, and timeliness dimensions. This research provides a comprehensive overview of the USN PAPUA library website quality and is expected to serve as a foundation for administrators in improving digital library services to meet user expectations and optimize the utilization of library resources in the digital era.
