Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement a decision support system using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Fuzzy Logic methods to assess vehicle feasibility in expedition companies, with a case study at PT. Bangun Perkasa Ekspress. Vehicle feasibility is a critical aspect of the logistics industry, directly impacting safety, operational efficiency, and company costs. However, manual evaluation processes often lead to subjective and suboptimal decisions. Therefore, the decision support system is designed to objectively evaluate vehicle feasibility by considering various critical criteria, such as engine condition, vehicle age, and maintenance history. This research employs the SAW method to assign weights and quantitative assessments to criteria, while the Fuzzy Logic method manages data uncertainty. Implementation results indicate that the system effectively improves operational efficiency by speeding up the evaluation process, enhancing decision accuracy, and reducing accident risks and maintenance costs. Thus, this decision support system significantly contributes to improving operational performance and competitive advantage in the logistics industry.

Abstract

At PT. Chitose Cengineering Indonesia, the warehouse team manages a lot of inventory data daily. However, the existing manual system causes difficulties in tracking item information, data duplication, and frequent stock data loss. To address these problems, a web-based system was developed using UML, PHP, and MySQL to improve inventory data management.

Abstract

Exams are one of the important evaluation methods in the world of education to measure students' understanding and competence. Along with the development of technology, examination activities have undergone many changes where manual examination activities are no longer routine activities in examinations, especially at this time. However, there are still many educational institutions that hold examinations manually or use systems that are not yet integrated, so that their implementation is less effective, time-consuming, and prone to administrative errors. To overcome these problems, this study aims to design and build a Web-Based Online Examination Application using the PHP programming language and the Codeigniter framework. This application is expected to make it easier for organizers to manage exam question data, manage exam schedules, manage classes, manage student data and produce information in the form of exam score data reports. System development is carried out using the Agile method, which allows the software development process to be carried out iteratively and adaptively to changing needs, by involving continuous user feedback at every stage. With the implementation of this online examination application, it is hoped that a modern, fast, and accurate evaluation system will be created, and support digital transformation in the world of education.

Abstract

MTS Syekh Mubarok is one of the educational institutions located in Cisoka District, Tangerang Regency. Currently, the delivery of school-related information is still carried out conventionally through verbal communication or messaging applications like WhatsApp, which is less effective and efficient. In addition, the student registration process is still done manually. To address these issues, the authors developed a web-based information system that can be used to present the school profile and facilitate online student registration. This system was built using the Laravel and Bootstrap frameworks by adopting the waterfall software development method, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The final result is a school profile website capable of delivering digital information to the public and supporting the student admission process without requiring them to visit the school in person.

Abstract

Technological advancement has made various services increasingly fast, convenient, and accessible across different locations. Android, as one of the most widely used mobile operating systems, has become an attractive and highly sought-after platform for developing Android-based mobile applications. Therefore, our research aims to develop an information system for ornamental fish sales, specifically for WNC stand, based on the Android platform. The Android-based ornamental fish sales information system at WNC stand utilizes the waterfall methodology to assist stand managers in the sales process and promotion of ornamental fish. This system is expected to facilitate both sellers and consumers in resolving transaction-related issues with ease. The Android-based fish sales application is anticipated to benefit both sellers and consumers, as customers no longer need to visit traditional markets since they can view information, make purchases, and check fish availability using their smartphones. This research focuses on analyzing and solving social and real-life problems by implementing the waterfall methodology. The data collection techniques employed include observation and interviews, with this study being qualitative in nature. The expected outcome of this research is an Android-based ornamental fish sales information system application for WNC stand that facilitates user transactions in ornamental fish sales.

Abstract

The provision of quality and refined disease diagnosis in remote and underserved areas has been one of the greatest challenges because most of the time healthcare infrastructure is minimal or none. Artificial intelligence (AI) has brought revolutionary changes in terms of scalable and real-time diagnostic systems that can fill vital healthcare gaps. This paper will examine how the AI-driven diagnostic platforms to be created could be implemented in low-resource environments and help identify diseases in real time. By combining recent developments in telemedicine, machine learning, as well as mobile health (mHealth), we assess how such platforms work, what is their diagnostic quality, and whether they can be successfully deployed in the field. We also look at the case studies that provide successful examples of the implementation of AI tools in community-based health programs. The study indicates the conclusion that AI-enhanced diagnostic systems can help enhance early disease detection and response time as well as foster healthcare equity. Nonetheless, concerns over information privacy, algorithm discrimination, and localized training datasets are some of the factors that have been major impediments to mass usage. The study notes that the emerging intelligent diagnostic systems may be the key contributions towards the global health approaches, especially in those contexts where the features of progressive healthcare products have never been reached.

Abstract

Effective cash flow management serves as a fundamental pillar in the financial administration of computer laboratories, particularly those facing limited funds and high transaction volumes. This study seeks to develop a web-based cash flow information system employing modern frameworks such as Laravel and Vue.js. The system is designed to accurately record, monitor, and analyze financial transactions in real-time. Its purpose is to streamline financial reporting, enhance transparency, and reduce the likelihood of manual recording errors. The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model guides the system's development, with validation performed via black-box testing. The implementation demonstrates that the MVC architecture in Laravel and the use of Vue.js for the user interface offer significant flexibility and scalability for subsequent system enhancements. This research contributes to the digitalization of financial governance within educational institutions, leveraging open and easily deployable technology.

Abstract

A santri is an individual who undergoes Islamic education in a boarding school known as a pondok pesantren, typically residing there until the completion of their studies. Upon graduation, some santri voluntarily dedicate themselves to serve as staff in the pesantren. At Yayasan Nafidatunnajah Islamic Boarding School, the selection of the best santri is a regular activity conducted each academic period to encourage students to improve their academic achievements and moral conduct. Outstanding students are not only recognized but also awarded by the foundation. However, the selection process faces challenges due to the large number of assessment criteria and the lack of standardized weightings for each criterion. Currently, no decision support system is in place to assist in making objective and efficient evaluations. This study aims to develop a decision support system using the Weighted Product (WP) method. WP works by multiplying the values of each attribute, which are first exponentiated by the respective criterion weight. This ensures that the results align with the preferences and priorities set by the institution. The proposed system is expected to support the pesantren in selecting the best santri more effectively and objectively. The final output of this research is intended for publication in a national academic journal.

Abstract

Scholarship distribution is a form of support to enhance educational access, particularly for high achieving students from underprivileged families. However, manual and subjective selection processes often lead to unfairness and inefficiency. This study aims to design and develop a decision support system based on multi-criteria methods, namely Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), Weighted Product (WP), and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), to assist in an objective and measurable scholarship selection process. The system was developed using the Waterfall model approach and tested using candidate data based on predefined criteria. Implementation results show that all three methods produce consistent rankings, with Alternative 2 consistently emerging as the best choice. The system provides accurate and fast calculations, supported by a user-friendly interface. The application of these multi-criteria methods enhances transparency, objectivity, and accountability in the scholarship selection process.

Abstract

The problem of the absence of a school Web Profile Information System at SDS Islam An-Nur is the lack of information delivery to student, parents, and the wider community. In today’s digital era, the need for fast and structured information delivery is very important, but SDS Islam An-Nur still experiences limitations in the aspect of information digitalization. Therefore, this system is designed to present school profile data, activity, gallaries, and school agendas comprehensively and interactively. The technologies used include React.js for the user interface, Tailwind CSS for responsive design, and Node.js and Express.js for server management and MySQL as a database. Data collection was carried out thtough direct observation, interviews with the school, and literature studies, the implementation results show that the system is able to present school information more efficiency, attractiverly, and structured, and facilitate communication between the school and its stakeholders. With the presence of the system, SDS Islam An-Nur can improve the quality of information services, strengthen the school’s image as an institution that is adaptive to technological devlemopment, and support the process of promoting and transparency of educational information in the community.
