Abstract

Digital transformation in business operations demands more efficient service systems, including in the culinary sector. Rumah Makan Joglo(RMJ) still employs a manual reservation process, leading to issues such as disorganized records, slow service, and the risk of losing potential customers. This study aims to design a web-based restaurant reservation information system using the Waterfall methodology. The development stages included requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and functional testing through black box techniques. The results showed that the system successfully automated table and menu reservations, accelerated payment verification, and improved the accuracy of reservation data management. Functional testing confirmed that all features, from both admin and customer perspectives, performed as expected. This system proves to be an effective solution to enhance service quality and strengthen competitiveness in a digital business environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics of dead band measurements on a 50 Wp polycrystalline photovoltaic (PV) system at the Pamulang University Solar Power Plant (PLTS). Dead band is a phenomenon where changes in power input are not followed by significant changes in output, which often occurs in solar panel-based energy conversion systems. In this study, PV panels were tested with various levels of coverage (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%) to simulate partial shading conditions. Voltage, current, and power measurements were carried out using a National Instruments (NI) USB-6212 integrated with LabVIEW software, while light intensity was measured with a lux meter. The results showed that increasing light intensity generally increased the panel output power, but efficiency decreased as the panel temperature increased. In addition, the larger the panel coverage area (dead band), the more significant the decrease in power produced. Dead band conditions were also identified in certain voltage and current ranges, where increasing light intensity no longer provided an increase in power. These findings provide important insights for the design and development of power management systems in solar power plants, especially in mitigating the impacts of lighting variations and partial shading, so that the stability and efficiency of the resulting energy can be improved.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of several concentrations of egg yolk as an effective natural cryoprotectant for cryopreservation and to analyze the quality of spermatozoa of Puntius bramoides fish (lukas fish) 48 hours after cryopreservation. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 9 treatments and 4 replications. The concentrations of egg yolk used as cryoprotectants were 0% (negative control), 5%, 7%, 9%, 11%, 13%, 15%, 17%, and the use of Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) 1% as a positive control. The results showed that the use of several concentrations of egg yolk as a natural extracellular cryoprotectant was able to significantly affect (P <0.005) the abnormalities of spermatozoa of lukas fish 48 hours after cryopreservation. The use of 9% egg yolk concentration is the optimum concentration in reducing the percentage of abnormality of sperm in lukas fish with an average percentage obtained of 26.13 ± 1.49%.

Abstract

Digital transformation in business operations emphasizes the need for integrated information systems, including in the garment industry. MaxSupply, a local garment business, requires a web-based sales information system to support more efficient and well-managed business processes. This study aims to design and develop a sales information system that facilitates product management, order processing, and digital payment. The system was developed using a prototyping method, allowing iterative improvements based on user feedback. It was built using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and includes features such as user authentication, product management, transaction processing, and reporting. The results show that the system improves transaction speed and data accuracy, thereby supporting more structured and efficient operations for MaxSupply.

Abstract

SD Negeri Lemahduhur is a public elementary school that conducts new student admissions (PPDB) every year. Until now, the PPDB process has been carried out manually, requiring prospective students or their parents to visit the school in person to collect forms, fill in data, and submit physical documents. This process is considered inefficient as it takes time, incurs costs, and is prone to input errors and data loss. Because of these problems, the study's main goal is to create a web- based PPDB system that makes registering easier and increases the accuracy and speed of administrative work. Observation, conversation, and record study are some of the research methods that are used. The system was created using the Waterfall method of software development, and it was tried using the Black Box method to make sure that all of its functions work the way users want them to. The language used is PHP, and the database is MySQL.The planned online PPDB system has several main features, such as the ability to register online, share necessary papers, make payments through a bank transfer, and get alerts about the results of the selection. The method works well and meets the school's goals for a more current, open, and effective PPDB process, as shown by the test results.

Abstract

Optimal healthcare services in hospitals highly depend on a well-organized doctor scheduling system. At Brawijaya Mother and Child Hospital, the scheduling process is still carried out manually, making it prone to errors, delays, and inefficiencies in workflow. This study aims to design and implement a web-based doctor scheduling information system by applying the First Come First Serve (FCFS) method as the basis for queue scheduling. FCFS is chosen for its fair and straightforward approach in determining the order of service based on registration time, without any specific prioritization. The system development follows the waterfall methodology, which includes stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Technologies used in this system include PHP programming language, MySQL database, and supporting frameworks. The system features include doctor data management, practice scheduling, and online patient registration, accessible by both patients and hospital administrators through a user-friendly interface. The implementation results show that the system is capable of managing doctor schedules in a more structured manner, reducing schedule conflicts, and increasing efficiency in patient service processes. The presence of this information system accelerates administrative processes, improves transparency and accuracy, and supports the quality of services while enhancing patient satisfaction. This research is expected to provide a digital solution for hospitals in managing doctor schedules and to serve as a foundation for developing similar information systems in the future.

Abstract

Existing studies have demonstrated that digital pharmacy platforms significantly enhance transaction speed and streamline inventory management processes (Julita et al., 2025). However, Apotek Diva continues to experience operational challenges due to the absence of an online ordering system and suboptimal public dissemination of its pharmaceutical services. This study employs the Waterfall methodology to design and implement a web-based drug inventory system, building upon its proven effectiveness in managing transactions and sales reporting as evidenced in Apotek Riski Sehat Jakarta's implementation (Nilawati et al., 2022). Data collection incorporated participatory observation techniques and in-depth interviews conducted at Apotek Diva. The developed system features comprehensive drug cataloging, online ordering capabilities, multiple delivery options, and administrative data management tools. Utilizing PHP and MySQL with UML modeling support - an approach that yielded significant efficiency improvements in data and transaction handling at Apotek Mitra Sehat (Rahmadani, Harris & Hendri, 2023) - the implemented solution has successfully enhanced customer ordering convenience while optimizing Apotek Diva's operational efficiency.

Abstract

The development of information technology requires educational institutions to adopt digital systems in academic processes. SMP Tahfidz Assyifa Al-Islami Parung faces problems in recording and processing student grades manually, which are prone to errors and inefficiencies. This study aims to design and implement a web-based student assessment management information system to assist teachers in inputting, managing, and reporting grades. The system is developed using UML-based modeling and built with PHP, MySQL, and the Bootstrap framework. Implementation results show the system improves the efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of student grade data. With this system, the academic evaluation process becomes faster and more transparent.

Abstract

AThe advancement of information technology encourages companies to manage product information more effectively and efficientyly. PT. Global Medika Indoselaras, a company engaged in the distribution of medical devices, requires a product information system that is easy to manage and accessible. This study aims to design a product information system using the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). The methodology includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing phases. The results show that the developed system can display product information in a structured manner, simplify the data updating process, and improve information accessibility for both internal and external users. By utilizing WordPress, the company can manage content independently without relying on developers, thereby enhancing work efficiency. This system is expected to serve as an informative medium that’s supports business processes and customer service.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 9 Kota Tangerang Selatan is an ICT-based model school. In the academic process, especially the assessment still uses Microsoft Excel to store data, so that it can cause data redundancy and human errors, as well as provide delays in information to students / guardians of students. The purpose of this study is to design an academic system in processing the necessary assessment data according to the needs of students and schools, the author tries to make "Web-Based Analysis and Design (E-Report Card) with the Prototype Method" at SMA Negeri 9 Kota Tangerang Selatan, with the tools which is made according to the existing analysis problems in the school. In this study, the research methodology used was data collection methods, namely by interview and observation, while the development method used the Prototype method. The programming language used is Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) and My Structure Query Language (MySQL) as its database. The results of this study are in the form of an academic information system that can help students / guardians in viewing reports on teaching and learning activities and minimizing errors in data entry.
