Abstract

The shift toward remote work in software engineering has introduced critical challenges in transparency, integrity, and auditability of development activities. Although version control systems like Git have become standard tools for tracking development history, they remain vulnerable to data manipulation, deletion of contribution records, and inefficiencies in conducting independent, real-time audits. This study proposes a blockchain-based software engineering system designed to address these issues. The system automatically records all key development activities—including commits, merges, pull requests, and branches—through integration with smart contracts running on the Hyperledger Fabric platform. Activity data is encrypted into hash values and stored on a distributed, tamper-proof ledger. A case study was conducted involving two remote development teams in Indonesia over a two-month real-world project cycle. Evaluation results show a significant improvement in audit efficiency, reducing average audit time from 48 hours to less than 6 hours, along with a 30% increase in perceived trust among team members. This research contributes a practical and technically validated approach to software development auditing in remote collaboration contexts, while also demonstrating the functional extension of blockchain technology beyond financial domains into software engineering practices.

Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based computer course information system at LKP Graha Kreatif as a solution to the problem of manually distributed course registration information. Using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, the system was developed quickly and iteratively to meet the institution’s functional needs. Data collection included observation, interviews, and literature review. The system was implemented using the Laravel framework and tested using Black Box Testing. The results show that the designed system improved the effectiveness of information dissemination and simplified the registration process. This system also provides easier access to training information, supporting the institution’s mission to enhance the digital skills of rural communities.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of the Prototype method in designing an Android-based warehouse Stock Opname system at PT Petra Sejahtera Abadi. This system is designed to address the issues of the manual Stock Opname process, which is time-consuming, lacks data integration, and carries the risk of recording errors. The Prototype method was used through the stages of requirement gathering, system design, Prototype creation, evaluation, and testing. Tools such as Android Studio, Firebase, and UML diagrams (Activity Diagram, Usecase diagram, Logical Record Structure) are used to design the user interface, workflow, and database structure. The system integrates user authentication features, daily stock data input, report validation by supervisors, as well as daily and monthly report visualization. The test results show that the system is capable of speeding up the Stock Opname process, improving data accuracy, and providing real-time information access. This research shows that the Android and cloud-based system can improve the efficiency and accuracy of stock management through a Prototype method that effectively adjusts the system to user needs.

Abstract

Monitoring system design at PT. Infomedia Nusantara is intended to make it easier for office staff to monitor technicians, because currently the monitoring and reporting process only uses chat, which causes office staff to spend more time. In addition, there is no need for office staff to ask about the progress made by technicians in the field, because office staff can see it on the web site. And for the admin, it also helps make it easier to manage reports every month. In the design apply Agile method as the method used. This research produces a web site monitoring system at PT. Infomedia Nusantara which makes it easier for office workers to monitor the work of technicians, know the presence of technicians, and also make it easier for the admin to manage reports.

Abstract

This study discusses the design of a web-based stock opname recording application for Kopiluvium using the Waterfall method. The application is designed to address the challenges of manual stock recording, which is prone to errors, slow, and inefficient. The Waterfall method is implemented through the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Tools used include PHP, MySQL, and UML diagrams (Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, ERD). The system includes multi-level login (admin, staff, employee), item data input, stock in/out recording, automatic reports, and role-based access. Testing using the blackbox method shows that the system functions according to user needs. This study demonstrates that a web-based system can improve warehouse stock recording efficiency and support faster, more accurate managerial decision-making.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven digital transformation across various sectors, including the dissemination of information. Digital platforms such as websites have become effective tools for delivering information widely and efficiently. Karang Taruna Unit RW 012, as a youth organization, still faces challenges in effectively distributing information about its activities and documentation. This study aims to develop a web-based information system using the Waterfall development model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The resulting website has proven to expand the reach of information, enhance both internal and external communication, and strengthen the organization’s image in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much influence brand trust, brand awareness and perceived quality have on customer purchasing decisions at the Gelael MT Haryono Supermarket. Gelael Signature sells various types of retail goods, such as household utensils, not only selling retail goods, Gelael Signature also sells various daily necessities such as food, drinks, vegetables, and so on. The system development method for this application uses the SDLC method with a waterfall model which consists of 5 stages. These stages are needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing and maintenance. This application was built using the PHP programming language, MySQL database as the database. Based on the concept and design, this research produces a web-based goods inventory information system at PT. Gelael Signature.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology is driving the education sector to undergo digital transformation in order to improve the efficiency of information delivery. At TK Islam Birrul Walidayn, the communication system that still relies on blackboards and direct interactions between teachers and parents has proven to be impractical and often slows down the flow of information. In response to this, an academic website was designed with the aim of accelerating, streamlining, and organizing the process of information distribution between the school and parents. The development of this system uses an Agile approach, which allows the development process to be carried out iteratively and responsively to user needs. Each stage in the development cycle—from the planning stage to evaluation—is repeated to ensure the final result meets expectations. The website developed in this internship activity is designed to display student data, activity schedules, important announcements, and real-time child development reports. With the presence of this digital platform, the management of academic information becomes more efficient, while also making it easier for parents to monitor their children's activities and growth anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

Digital transformation has driven many companies to shift from traditional IT infrastructure to cloud-based solutions in order to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and security. This study discusses the migration process of PT. Warsoon Maju Bersama’s internal IT system from an on-premise environment to cloud computing using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The project employed a hybrid methodology, combining the Waterfall model for the initial planning stages and Agile for development and testing phases. The project was divided into six main phases: assessment, architecture planning, cloud environment implementation, data and application migration, testing, and cutover with training. The results show that the migration process was successfully completed within 28 weeks, with minimal downtime, a performance improvement of 18%, short term IT operational cost savings of 15%, and enhanced infrastructure scalability and security. The project evaluation highlights the importance of comprehensive initial assessments, continuous IT team training, and effective change management. These findings provide a significant contribution as a structured and successful cloud migration case study in the logistics industry.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a web-based umrah booking application to facilitate online reservations for prospective pilgrims and support efficient, integrated booking management for administrators. The Agile method is used as the system development approach, characterized by iterative cycles and flexibility to adapt to User needs. The application is built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. The case study is conducted at PT Zuwar Haramaen Zahra Fahira, which previously used manual booking processes. The developed system includes features such as account registration, package selection, payment confirmation, and dashboards for both Users and admins. The results show that the application improves booking efficiency, record accuracy, and accessibility of information for both customers and management.
