Abstract

This report includes a detailed discussion on the results obtained through the Elementary Vibrations experiment. At the beginning of the report, the purpose and the background of the experiment will be discussed and the two equations to calculate the natural frequency of free vibrations will be derived. Then the apparatus used and the experimental procedure will be described and the results recorded during the experiment will be shown and discussed in detail. At the end, the key findings will be explained.

Abstract

Internal communication plays an important role in building volunteer motivation in community-based organizations, including mosques. This study aims to analyze the effect of internal communication on the motivation of volunteers at Nurul Ashri Mosque in implementing the “Flowing Good Energy” program. Using a quantitative approach, this study involved 50 volunteers who actively participated in the program. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using a simple linear regression method. The results showed that internal communication had a significant influence on volunteer motivation, with a contribution of 65%. The recommendation from this study is to improve the quality of internal communication through training, the use of effective communication media, and routine evaluations to support the sustainability of volunteer motivation.

Abstract

Environmental awareness refers to individuals' understanding, attitudes, and behaviors in preserving and protecting the environment. In Solo, this awareness still faces significant challenges due to limited public knowledge about waste management and environmental care. Poorly managed waste remains a serious issue, causing environmental pollution and posing health risks. Pandawara Group, a youth-led initiative active on social media, has emerged with creative and educational campaigns through Instagram. They inspire many by conducting real-life environmental clean-up actions and presenting visually engaging content. Research findings reveal that Pandawara's Instagram activities significantly influence environmental awareness among young people in Solo, contributing as much as 79.4%. Their Instagram publications enhance understanding, foster concern, and encourage active participation among the younger generation in protecting the environment, proving that social media can be an effective tool for driving positive social change.

Abstract

The results of the researcher's initial interviews with 2 people suffering from diabetes mellitus in the Sampalowo village area obtained information that these patients were less compliant in undergoing treatment. This can be seen from their explanation that the patient does not take medication regularly and does not control blood sugar regularly. The increase in patient blood sugar levels is also caused by not always adopting a healthy diet, not exercising, not following a diet program, stress, smoking and consuming alcoholic drinks. The aim of this research is to determine patient compliance in controlling blood sugar levels in the Sampalowo Village Area, Petasia Barat District, North Morowali Regency. This type of research is descriptive. The variable in this study is patient compliance in controlling blood sugar levels to prevent diabetes mellitus. Data types are primary and secondary. Data collection uses a questionnaire. Data analysis uses univariate analysis. The population in this study were all patients suffering from diabetes mellitus in the Sampalowo village area, namely 32 people. The sample consisted of 32 people. The results showed that of the 32 respondents in this study, 59.4% were more compliant in controlling blood sugar levels compared to 40.6% who were less compliant. The conclusion in this study is that patients in the Sampalowo Village area, Petasia Barat District, North Morowali Regency are more likely to have good compliance in controlling blood sugar levels. The suggestion in this research is that it is hoped that patients will always regularly control blood sugar levels and always adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

Nursing services are an integral part of health services in hospitals which have a role in achieving efficiency and the quality of the hospital's image in the community. Nurses are one of the professional staff, so it is necessary to improve the quality of hospital nursing care services. As a result of interviews conducted by researchers, 10 patients said that the service provided was quite good and satisfactory, but 3 patients said they were not satisfied with the service provided, and were less responsive to complaints from patients being treated in the room. This research aims to determine patient perceptions of the quality of nursing services in the inpatient installation room at the Torabelo Regional General Hospital, Sigi Regency. This type of research uses a descriptive research design method, in the inpatient installation of the Tora Belo General Hospital, Sigi Regency. Pine Room, Ebony. Data collection uses questionnaires. The variable in this research is the patient's perception of the quality of nursing services. Data analysis uses univariate analysis. The population in this study were all hospitalized patients with a total sample of 44 people using proportional sampling by accidental sampling which met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of research on patient perceptions of the quality of nursing services in the inpatient installation room at the Tora Belo Regional General Hospital, Sigi Regency showed that of the 44 respondents, there were more patients who had a good perception, namely 23 (52.3%) while patients who had a less good perception were 21 (47,7%). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the majority of respondents have a good perception of the quality of nursing services at Tora Belo General Hospital, Sigi Regency. It is hoped that the Tora Belo General Hospital can further improve the quality of nursing and health services through training programs or health seminars.

Abstract

Personal protective equipment is equipment used to protect workers from injury or disease caused by contact with workplace hazards whether chemical, biological, radiation, physical, electrical, mechanical and others. Personal protective equipment is one form of effort to overcome work-related risks. In the world of work, the use of PPE is very necessary, especially in work environments that have potential dangers to work health and safety. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes and the use of personal protective equipment for spraying pesticides among PT Citra Mulia Perkasa oil palm farmers in Lampasio District, Tolitoli Regency.The type of research used is analytical research with a cross-sectional approach. The variables in this research are independent, namely farmers' knowledge and attitudes, while the dependent is the use of personal protective equipment. The data used is primary data and secondary data. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi Scuare test. The population in this study was 200 and the sample consisted of 36 respondents.The results of the research show that there is a relationship between knowledge and the use of personal protective equipment with a p-value = 0.009 (p < 0.05) and there is a relationship between attitudes and the use of personal protective equipment with a p-value = 0.024 (p < 0.05 )The conclusion in this research is that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes and the use of personal protective equipment for spraying pesticides among oil palm farmers at PT. Mighty Noble Image. It is recommended for PT. Citra Mulia Perkasa in Lampasio District, Tolitoli Regency, always strives to provide equipment and supervision for palm oil employees so that they always use personal protective equipment to prevent work accidents and work-related diseases.

Abstract

Gastritis is inflammation (swelling) of the gastric mucosa characterized by discomfort in the upper stomach, nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite or headaches. According to the results of a preliminary study, data that researchers obtained from the Dolo Community Health Center showed that the number of gastritis sufferers in 2018 was 2119 cases. The aim of this research is to determine the knowledge and attitudes of the community about gastritis at the Dolo Community Health Center, Dolo District, Sigi Regency. The design of this research is descriptive research. The variables in this research are people's knowledge and attitudes. The data used is primary and secondary data. Data analysis uses univariate analysis. The population in this study were people who visited the community health center at the time of the research. The sample in this study amounted to 43 people using the Accidental Sampling method. The research results showed that respondents who had good knowledge about Gastritis were 69.8% and 30.2% were sufficient, while those who had good attitudes were 51.2% and 48.8% were sufficient. The conclusion in this research is that the samples obtained during the research had more good knowledge and good attitudes about gastritis. Suggestions: It is hoped that the Dolo Community Health Center can work together with the Subdistrict/Village Government to socialize and provide education about health, especially related to gastritis so that people can further improve their knowledge and attitudes about gastritis.

Abstract

Restorative justice is a process where the parties involved in a particular violation meet to resolve the issue together on how to resolve the consequences of the violation for the sake of the future. The purpose of this study was to determine law enforcement in the application of Restorative Justice at the Pangkalpinang District Attorney's Office and to determine the inhibiting factors in the application of Restorative Justice at the Pangkalpinang District Attorney's Office. The method used in this study is empirical juridical with a case and law approach. The results of this study are that the Pangkalpinang District Attorney's Office in handling Restorative Justice cases has been in accordance with the concept of law enforcement itself, where in resolving the case the Public Prosecutor provides mediation which is carried out transparently and safely so that the victim feels heard and the perpetrator can admit his mistake without any coercion from any party. However, there are supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the application of Restorative Justice. Supporting factors such as the provision of a special room to handle restorative justice cases and the existence of a Restorative Justice hall and the inhibiting factors are on the part of the victim himself who does not want to reconcile.

Abstract

Islam adheres to a patriarchal culture, where men are held higher than women, as is the deepest in the word of Allah. Meanwhile, feminists oppose and reject the patriarchal system because it is considered that women are only capable of performing reproductive functions such as; giving birth, raising children and carrying out household responsibilities As for liberal feminism, it emphasizes that women and men are created equal, have the same rights and must be given the same opportunities. Liberal feminist thought is known for advocating for gender equality, individual freedom, and rejection of discrimination against women in all its forms. In the context of Liberal Feminism, a review of the Compilation of Islamic Law can provide a deeper understanding of how Islamic law is applied to women and how issues of gender equality and the role of women are addressed in the law. This research aims to better understand this liberal feminism mind in the compilation of Islamic law. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive using literature review as the source of data. The result of this study is that in the compilation of Islamic law, there are actually several articles that support feminist thought, such as article 32 paragraph 2 of the KHI regarding property and several other articles. The conclusion of this study is that there is a compatibility between the rules in the KHI and the principles of liberal feminism as evidence that the KHI actually accepts the ideology of liberal feminism.

Abstract

This study analyzes the conflicts faced by the main characters in the film "Laskar Pelangi", set in the 1970s on the Bangka Belitung Islands. The film portrays aspects of life such as economic limitations, moral values, friendship, family dynamics, and the importance of quality education. Using semiotic and structuralist approaches, the study examines the symbols and narrative structures influencing the audience's understanding of these conflicts. The research found that internal conflict (Man vs Self) is the most dominant, accounting for 42% of the total conflicts. External conflicts include "Man vs Society" (32%), "Man vs Man" (18%), "Man vs Nature" (7%), and "Man vs Fate" (1%). Internal conflicts illustrate the characters' personal struggles, while external conflicts highlight societal and environmental challenges. The study also emphasizes the importance of friendship and moral support in overcoming life's difficulties. Character relationships in the film serve as pillars of strength in facing various issues. Through in-depth analysis, this research aims to provide new insights into the dynamics of conflict in film narratives and the film's contribution to teaching moral values and perseverance.
