Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong peningkatan penggunaan aplikasi pesan instan seperti WhatsApp dalam berbagai aktivitas, termasuk dalam lingkungan akademik. WhatsApp menyediakan dua mode tampilan, yaitu mode terang dan mode gelap, yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan visual pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan tingkat kegunaan antara kedua mode tersebut berdasarkan persepsi mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan instrumen System Usability Scale (SUS). Sebanyak 80 responden diminta mengisi kuesioner berisi 20 pernyataan (10 untuk masing-masing mode), yang kemudian dianalisis dengan perhitungan skor SUS dan dilakukan uji statistik menggunakan uji t sampel berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor usability untuk mode terang sebesar 45.34, sedangkan mode gelap sebesar 48.69. Uji t menghasilkan nilai p sebesar 0.0004 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kedua mode. Meskipun keduanya masih berada di bawah ambang batas kegunaan ideal, mode gelap cenderung memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang lebih nyaman. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa desain tampilan memiliki pengaruh terhadap kenyamanan persepsi dan perlunya menjadi perhatian dalam pengembangan antarmuka aplikasi.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop the ARCHView application, an Augmented Reality (AR) Computer Hardware Viewer, intended to support learning in the field of Software Engineering. With advances in AR technology, this application is expected to enhance students' understanding of hardware components through engaging interactive visualizations. The application development process includes 3D modeling of hardware components, integration of AR technology using Vuforia, and the development of interactive features that allow users to interact directly with 3D models. The methodology used in this research includes user requirement analysis, application design, implementation, and functionality testing. Test results show that the ARCHView application can increase student engagement and understanding of the learning material, with 90% of respondents stating that this application is very helpful in the learning process. This research makes a significant contribution to the development of innovative learning methods in the field of Software Engineering, as well as opens up opportunities for further research on the application of AR technology in education.

Abstract

Proses penjualan barang yang dilakukan secara manual, baik dalam pencatatan maupun perhitungan harga, cenderung memakan waktu lama dan rentan kesalahan. Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi, sistem tersebut dapat ditingkatkan melalui perancangan aplikasi penjualan yang terkomputerisasi. Aplikasi ini memudahkan karyawan toko dalam mengakses informasi produk dan menghitung total biaya, sekaligus meminimalkan kesalahan manusia. Selain itu, data penjualan yang tercatat secara digital dapat dianalisis untuk merumuskan strategi penjualan yang lebih efektif. Hasil dari pembuatan aplikasi ini memberikan kemudahan bagi pemilik toko dalam memantau perkembangan bisnis, karena fitur-fitur yang dimiliki seperti pemesanan barang, laporan penjualan, serta pengunduhan struk pembelian dalam format PDF telah berfungsi sesuai dengan tujuannya.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology demands wireless networks that are not only stable but also centrally manageable and efficient. In many medium-scale organizations, such as XYZ Company, manual access point management leads to inefficiencies, configuration inconsistencies, and difficulties in monitoring network traffic. To address these issues, this study proposes the development of a wireless network management system based on CAPsMAN (Centralized Access Point Management) with real-time traffic monitoring features, implemented using the Laravel framework. The development process follows a systematic approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), providing a structured methodology for identifying user requirements, designing system architecture, developing the solution, implementing it in a real-world environment, and evaluating system performance. The developed system is integrated with the MikroTik API for direct data retrieval and utilizes a MySQL database for storing traffic history. Implementation results indicate that the system successfully enables centralized management of six access points, simplifies bulk configuration, and provides an intuitive web interface for real-time monitoring of connected devices, network status, and traffic reports. Quantitative monitoring shows peak traffic of 2 MBps (upload) and 21 KBps (download), with data logged every 30 minutes for historical analysis. Prior to implementation, network administrators relied on manual, device-by-device configuration via Winbox without centralized visibilityleading to inconsistent policies and delayed troubleshooting. Post-implementation, all management tasks are unified, and real-time dashboards reduce monitoring latency to near zero. Black-box testing confirms that all system functions operate according to specifications. The application of the ADDIE model proves effective in ensuring the system’s quality, reliability, and sustainability. This research demonstrates that ADDIE can be successfully adapted beyond educational contexts its novel application in network system development ensures a user-centered, traceable, and evaluable engineering process, which is rarely documented in existing literature.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi memberikan peluang bagi rumah sakit untuk meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif melalui layanan inovatif seperti telemedicine. Terlebih lagi, pandemi COVID-19 dan adaptasi kebiasaan baru telah mendorong pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan layanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah prototipe sistem informasi telemedicine berbasis web bagi rumah sakit daerah. Metode pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah metode prototipe, sementara pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan pemangku kepentingan di salah satu RSUD tipe B di Jawa Timur. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi yang memungkinkan pasien untuk melakukan reservasi, memilih dokter, melakukan konsultasi via telepon atau video call, dan melihat riwayat medis secara daring. Bagi dokter, sistem ini memfasilitasi pengelolaan jadwal dan pencatatan hasil diagnosa. Sistem ini juga dilengkapi dengan fitur manajemen data untuk admin serta terintegrasi dengan payment gateway untuk kemudahan transaksi pembayaran. Prototpe ini dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan database MySQL sebagai solusi untuk memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang lebih efisien, praktis, dan dapat diakses dari jarak jauh.

Abstract

Pemilihan saham terbaik dari indeks IDX30 merupakan permasalahan multikriteria yang memerlukan pendekatan sistematis. Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) dan Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) untuk mengembangkan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) berbasis web untuk rekomendasi investasi saham IDX30. Dalam analisis menggunakan delapan kriteria fundamental yaitu Price Earning Ratio, Price Book Value, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Equity, Return on Assets, After Tax Margin, Current Ratio, dan Operating Margin. AHP digunakan untuk menentukan bobot prioritas kriteria melalui perbandingan berpasangan dengan validasi rasio konsistensi, sedangkan TOPSIS melakukan perankingan alternatif berdasarkan jarak terhadap solusi ideal. Sistem diimplementasikan menggunakan bahasa Python dengan framework Streamlit yang menyediakan antarmuka interaktif untuk analisis data secara real-time. Pengujian blackbox menunjukkan seluruh fungsi utama berjalan sesuai harapan, sementara pengujian kesesuaian manual menghasilkan selisih maksimum hanya sebesar 0,0178 dengan urutan perankingan yang identik. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa sistem andal sebagai alat bantu investasi yang objektif bagi investor.

Abstract

Freelancers often face difficulties in expanding their job opportunities and reaching potential clients. Therefore, a platform that effectively and efficiently connects freelancers with service seekers is needed. This study aims to design and develop a mobile application that bridges freelancers and clients by applying the Kano Model and the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The Kano Model is utilized to identify and map user needs based on their priority levels, while the RAD method is employed to accelerate system development through iterative processes involving active user participation. The research consists of three main stages. The first stage, Requirement Engineering, focuses on exploring and gathering user requirements. The second stage, user needs analysis using the Kano Model, produces a prioritization of features to be implemented in the system. The third stage, system design and development using the RAD method, is carried out through two iterative cycles. The final system evaluation using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) achieved an average score of 95.9%, indicating that the developed application is highly acceptable to users.
