Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Sunday market on the economy of the people in Sekadau Regency. This research focuses on the high interest of the people in Sekadau Regency to trade and shop at the Sunday market which sells various local products. These conditions make the authors interested in conducting research to find out why people prefer to trade and shop at the market that week. The results of this study are that the Sunday market located in Sekadau City also adds employment opportunities for the surrounding community, the people of Sekadau Regency, the majority of whom work as farmers and gardeners, because of the Sunday market, apart from being farmers or planters, the community can also become traders. In addition, farmers or planters who focus on expanding agricultural land or plantations can look for employees to help manage the garden and help sell products. Abstract

The background of this research is seen from the increasingly promising development of the futsal business from time to time, where people are increasingly fond of playing futsal and making futsal a universal sport. Increasing competition among futsal business players requires business players to be able to innovate, improve the quality of facilities and the comfort of the playing area. The research objectives were (1) to find out the customer's perception of the rental price at Chieng Leong Hua Futsal Singkawang; (2) knowing the customer's perception of the quality of the facilities provided by Chieng Leong Hua Futsal Singkawang. (3) knowing the customer's perception of the comfort of playing at Chieng Leong Hua Futsal Singkawang. This research answers the problems raised. Overall, customer response is at a good level. However, there are things that need to be improved, such as facilities that respondents feel need to be developed and improved in quality. Abstract

The enactment of Law Number 6 of 2014 concering Villages, became the starting point for openness in the village, especially regarding village information. Villages are required to have a Village Information System or known as SID. This journal is written to look at several things. First, the management of the Banguntapan Village website. Second, the management of the Banguntapan Village website is not optimal. Third, the efforts made by the village government in improving the performance of village officials in managing the Banguntapan Village website. The research method used is qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study first show that this condition is due to the lack of human resources owned by the Banguntapan Village Government, which resulted in the process of forming the village website management team not being able to carry out. Second, the ability of the Banguntapan Villages apparatus in operating computer is still weak. The limited capabilities possessed by the Banguntapan Village apparatus result in the website management process. In addition to human resources another reason is the absence of supporting facilities such as special rooms, computers or laptops, as well as budgets for managing village website. Regarding human resources, the village government’s efforts are to provide technical guidance and training related to website management. In terms of supporting the management of village websites, the efforts made by the Banguntapan Village Government are only limited to preparing plans that will be included in the village budget. Abstract

My Pertamina is a form of Pertamina service in the form of a mobile-based application to make it easier for people to fill up fuel without using cash. The My Pertamina application began to be implemented by the Government since July 1, 2022, but its users are still a little visible in the fact that there are still few queues of people at the non-cash section of the post office and in reverse where people are still happy to stand in long queues with cash or without using the My Pertamina application. Community acceptance of the My Pertamina application is one of the factors that supports the continued use of the application. To find out the community's acceptance of the My Pertamina application, this research uses the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) method, the TAM method consists of three perceptions, namely (i) perception of user convenience (PP), (ii) perception of usefulness (PK), and (iii) technology acceptance (PT). The data collection method uses a quantitative method by using a questionnaire as a tool to collect data on 50 users of the My Pertamina application in all SPBUs in Kota Kayuagung. The validity test shows that every question from the questionnaire is declared valid, the reliability test shows that the questionnaire is consistent and worthy of use, the user convenience perception variable has an average value of 4.48, the usefulness perception variable has an average value of 4.52, and the technology acceptance variable has a value an average of 4.49, this shows that respondents who have used the My Pertamina application have the perception of having received technology from using the My Per-tamina application. Abstract

This study aims to determine the PIR management system, and the income of oil palm PIR farmers. The research was conducted in Seraras Village, Sekadau District, Sekadau District, West Kalimantan Province, in June-July 2015. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method, which is a research method based on solving actual problems that exist today. There are 2 samples taken, namely landowners, landowners working alone in their own land. The type of data taken is Snowball Sampling, with an interview and documentation system. The results of this study indicate that there are 2 PIR processing systems, namely, land owners who employ employees, and self-employed owners who work on their own land. The income of land owner farmers who employ employees is Rp. 22,208,215 years/ha, and the income of farmers working on their own land is IDR 20,828,178 years/ha. Abstract

This research aims to determine the sequence and rhyme of the N’tuka’ tribe's mantra to repel reinforcements in Nanga Mahap. This mantra is one of several mantras in the N’tuka’ tribe. The method used in collecting data for this study is the observation method. The data obtained is then analyzed using qualitative methods, the data is analyzed as is without reducing or adding to the facts found. The results of this research are that in a series of traditional rituals for rejecting reinforcements there are symbols, including equipment such as: male pig, dog, chicken, pulut flour, jeribang banana, yotak longa, and yellow rice. The rhymes in the N’tuka’ tribe's repellent ritual mantra consist of open rhyme, closed rhyme and initial rhyme, while the rhythm not only contains magic and sacredness, but also contains aesthetic.

Abstract

This article discusses Asrama Putri Kumang located within the complex of SMK KelingKumang in Sekadau. This dormitory was established by the Yayasan Pendidikan KelingKumang as part of efforts to support the education and spiritual development of students. Thearticle examines the background of the dormitory's establishment, the role of spiritual leadersin its management, the fluctuation in the number of occupants over the years, as well as effortsto improve facilities and regulations within the dormitory. The impact of technology andchallenges faced in managing dormitory residents are also addressed. The article underscoresthe importance of the role of spiritual leaders in shaping the character and outlook of students'lives, and encourages parents to entrust their children to the management of the dormitory bysisters.

Abstract

Sawe tribe is one of the Dayak tribes in Sekadau Regency. This research aims to explain oral literature, especially the pancor bathing ritual of the Dayak Sawe tribe's wedding tradition. The author will analyze the structure and meaning of the pancor bathing ritual. The research method used in this research is qualitative. Descriptive research form. The approach used in this research is structural. Based on research that has been carried out, the pancor bath is a traditional wedding ritual for the Sawe Dayak Tribe in the Regency. This traditional ritual is carried out as a condition for marriage in the Sawe tribe. Apart from that, this ritual is carried out based on the community's belief that bathing in pancor can relieve the bride and groom from bad luck and danger. So, the pancor bathing ritual is a traditional wedding ritual of the Sawe Tribe which must be maintained by the Dayak Sawe Tribe community so that it doesn't just disappear and the younger generation can learn about the pancor bathing custom.

Abstract

The influence of advertising hyperreality on the consumptive lifestyle of Dayak Taman teenagers is an interesting phenomenon to research. In Jean Baudrillard's thinking, hyperreality refers to a condition where the representation of the real world becomes more important than the reality of authenticity itself. Advertising, as a form of representation, has a significant role in shaping consumptive lifestyles. In this study, the author analyzes how advertisements influence the consumptive behavior of Dayak Taman teenagers in Jopo Village. The author found that advertisements create images that exaggerate certain products and lifestyles. Taman Dayak teenagers who are exposed to advertisements tend to follow the consumption trends displayed in advertisements, even if it does not always match their needs. An understanding of hyperreality and Jean Baudrillard's thinking helps us understand why advertising has such a strong impact on consumptive lifestyles. This research provides insights into how advertising can influence teenagers and lead them to overconsumption. Therefore, there needs to be awareness and criticism of advertisements so that teenagers can make wiser consumption decisions.

Abstract

The focus of this paper is to find the meaning of the relationship between “I” and “Thou” according to Martin Buber's perspective. According to Martin Buber, the I and Thou relationship is a path to self-wholeness through an encounter. The encounter of “I” and “Thou” is based on a dialog to reveal deep meaning towards authentic self-knowledge. Encounter is a daily activity of individual human beings who involve themselves in the shared experience of others, because humans are basically relational beings who are constantly in dialog. Dialogue bridges the interpretation of meaning between “I” and “Thou” based on complete self-disclosure. The presence of “I” and “Thou” is not interpreted as subject-object, but an equal subject in a relational frame. In contrast to I-It, the subject-object relationship, cornering, alienating the other. Here the subject-object relationship is instrumental, thus threatening, intimidating, discriminating the others. The I-It relationship is only objective and separate in a control that gives rise to manipulation. The personalization of the self wants to display the unique sensuality of the I as an equal subject in the presence of other subjects. The encounter between “I” and “Thou” forms a complex experience towards a deep understanding of human existence. The purpose of this paper is to provide a deeper understanding of the meaning of human life in a frame of relationship. The findings of this research are that a dialog deepens the relationship between “I” and “Thou” towards a perfect self. Through dialog, “I” can understand others more deeply and comprehensively. Here, the role of “I” as a subject is very decisive as a personalization of self with the others.
