Abstract

ABSTRACTStarfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi) known as star fruit acids, this is due starfruit containsfolic acid. In the Minahasa region known as starfruit bottle, starfruit is one of the agriculturalproducts that have not received the attention and good handling. For that need to bedeveloped processing technology in the form of processed foods such as hard candies. Hardcandy is one of the non-crystalline candies that have a hard texture, shiny and translucentappearance. The purpose of research is to determine the concentration of sucrose and glucosesyrup right by analyzing the chemical components as well as measuring the level ofpreference panelists include taste, aroma, texture and color of hard candies starfruit. Thisstudy uses a completely randomized design (CRD) each consisting of three replications withA treatment (70% sucrose and 30% of glucose syrup); B (75% sucrose and 25% of glucosesyrup); C (80% sucrose and 20% of glucose syrup); and D (85% sucrose and 15% of glucosesyrup). The results showed that the hard candies starfruit with treatment A, B, C, and D meetthe requirements of SNI when viewed from the water content 0.40 - 1.03%, ash content of0.01 - 0.05%, reducing sugar 12.84 - 17.71% and total acids 1.06 - 1.20%. The greater theamount of concentration sucrose added will produce candy starfruit increasingly violent. Theconcentration of sucrose and glucose syrup is right for the manufacture of hard candy starfruitis concentration sucrose 85% and 15%. The results of organoleptic test sucrose concentrationof 80% and 20% glucose syrup is the preferred treatment panelists. Keywords: Starfruit, Sucrose, Glucose Syrup, Hard Candy.

The study used randomized block design with treatment A (5 ton Bokashi / ha), B (10 ton Bokashi / ha), C (15 ton Bokashi / ha), D (20 ton Bokashi / ha) and repeated 4 times to obtain 16 experimental plots. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance followed by LSD (Least Significant Difference) at 5% level. The results showed that the use of Bokashi fertilizer to increase rice production SRI method. Dose of 15 ton / ha of fertilizer bokhasi provide the highest SRI method of paddy production.Keyword: Bokashi, peddy,SRI Method (System Of Rice Intensification)

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to study the incidence of black pod disease in plants nutmeg (Myristica fragrans H) in the district of South Lembeh for 3 months ie from January to April 2015. Laboratory studies conducted at the Laboratory of Microbiology and Plant Pathology, Faculty of Agriculture Unsrat Manado and in the field, namely in Subdistrict South Lembeh.Research in the laboratory to determine the fungal pathogen nutmeg pod disease while in the field to determine the incidence of the disease is carried out in the village Papusungan, Kelapa Dua village, village Mawali. To study the incidence of the disease by the method of survey and sampling deliberate on nutmeg experiencing symptoms of dry rot and wet rot.Dried fruit rot disease symptoms in the nutmeg that is, the fruit of pain at first seem small, round spots, the center line of approximately 0.3 cm, this part is brown and settles (concave). The results showed that the characteristic of fungal pathogens causing rot diseases dried fruit on nutmeg in District Lembeh Southern namely Stigmina myristicae, observation of this fungus directly seen in the fruit field diseased fruit rot dried and identified under a microscope. the symptoms of fruit rot disease wet first emerged at the base of the fruit, the affected part color becomes brown, spotting developments rapidly that within a few days its center line has reached 2.5 cm, fruit ill not be concave. the disease is caused by the fungus Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, this fungus konidium greenish brown, oval-shaped.The results of the study the incidence of rot diseases caused by pathogenic fungi, in the field there is a difference incidence of black pod disease caused by a fungal pathogen at different locations, highest average incidence of dried fruit rot 7.90%, and 12.27% wet rot.Key Words : Incidence, Rotten Fruit , Nutmeg

ABSTRACTThis research aims to understand the influence of the use of the dossier onBAP and Kinetin induction shoots from protocorm dendrobium orchid (dendrobium Sp)Conducted in the laboratory biotechnology Faculty Agriculture University SamratulangiManado for 4 months from from june until September 2015. The research uses randomdesign complete with treatment K(kontrol), B1( ms + 1 ppm ) dossier, B2( ms + 2 ppm )dossier, B3( ms + 3 ppm ) dossier, K1 (ms + 1 ppm kinetin ), K2 ( ms + 2 ppm kinetin ),K3 ( ms + 3 ppm kinetin ) and repeated as much as 3 times. Data analyzed by of varianceand continued with BNT 5% (test different real smallest).Treatment 3 ppm BAP had have real impact on higher plants and number of leaves. Thehighest plants that is 1.676 cm across get in treatment BAP 3 ppm while plants the lowestin BAP 2 ppm namely 0.500 cm. Number of leaves most found in BAP 3 ppm namely9.81 and number of leaves at least found in BAP 2 ppm namely 4.56, treatment BAP andKinetin has not been affecting the long the leaves of an orchid dendrobium.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of zeatin on shoot multiplication of explants nodesat Kulo and Puspita Nusantara varieties of chrysanthemum plant. Characters observerdwere time of shoots formation, number of shoot, number of leaf and number of root. Theresearch was conducted in the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University ofSam Ratulangi for three month starting from July 2015 until October 2015.The researchwas designed using a completely randomized design with four treatments. Each treatmentwas repeated three time.Data was analyzed using variance analysis and Least SignificantDifference was used to differentiate the treatment. The result showed that the Zeatintreatment was significant difference on time of shoots formation, number of shoot andnumber of root at Kulo variety. Whereas, the Zeatin treatment was not significantdifference on number of shoot and number of leaf at Puspita Nusantara variety.Application of 0,5 ppm Zeatin concentration result the highest number of shoots, numberof leaves, number of roots on Kulo and Puspita Nusantara variety. Application of 0,5 ppmZeatin concentration and control resulted the fastest of time of shoots formation on Kuloand Puspita Nusantara variety.
