Abstract

Quality is the level of the inherent character of a product. One of the company's efforts is to produce quality products that consumers want while still managing risks that can affect the quality of each product. But the company still finds products that do not meet standard specifications, Quality Risk Management is carried out to identify risks through brainstorming and analyzing, and determining what factors can cause product defects and managing risks using the House of Risk to reduce risks that occur, and 29 risk agents cause the product does not meet specifications and 14 preventive actions as mitigation measures. At Hoshin, Kanri produces efforts to achieve company goals by providing improvement suggestions, Targets to Improve-Top level Improvement-Annual Objectives-3-5year Breakthrough Objectives.

Abstract

Tourism is an economic sector that has an important role in regional economic growth, including in Banyuwangi Regency. Banyuwangi Festival, as one of the main attractions, faces various challenges in its management, ranging from event coordination to performance monitoring. This research aims to optimize the management of Banyuwangi Festival through the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)-Tourism supported by the use of interactive dashboards. This research utilizes the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which involves various stakeholders in the system development process. The research findings show that the implementation of ERP-Tourism and interactive dashboards is able to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of festival management. The theoretical implications of this research include the development of literature related to the use of ERP technology in the tourism sector and its contribution to event management. Practically, the results of this study can be used as a guide for festival managers in improving the quality and efficiency of their events. Recommendations for future research include expanding the application of the ERP-Tourism system to other tourism events in Banyuwangi and other regions, as well as further developing dashboard features to meet the specific needs of different types of events. Thus, it is expected that this system can provide wider and sustainable benefits to the tourism sector and regional economy

Abstract

PT XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in producing dies and other components that go through the stamping part/press, welding, and fabrication processes. Currently, in carrying out production, the company has not been able to determine the target because there is no production capacity data, especially for the Bracket 78 component. The calculation of the bracket 78 product production capacity will use the Stopwatch Time Study to then produce the cycle time. The results of the measurement show a Bracket 78 product cycle time of 7.45 seconds. The cycle time will then be divided by the available time capacity. From this division, the Bracket 78 production capacity will be obtained at 3624 units per day. In this case, the company also wants to increase its production capacity to meet its long-term goal of becoming a Tier 1 supplier of PT Astra Honda Motor. Therefore, the improvement idea that can be given to the company to increase production capacity by utilizing the resources it has is to activate the machines and dies it has. Based on the calculation results, it can be proven that activating the machine at work station 2 can increase production capacity to 6102 units per day, or an increase of 68.37% compared to the production capacity before improvement.

Abstract

PT.XYZ is an automotive company that produces various automotive components, one of which is the body reinforcement frame (Reinforce). The problem that arises occurs in the posture of workers who are not ergonomic in the painting process. This can lead to MSDs disease in the spine. The purpose of this research is to minimize the waste motion experienced by painting operators. The method used to minimize waste motion is Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA). From the results of this study obtained a REBA score of 7 which is classified as medium risk, to reduce the REBA score we propose designing a tool in the form of a painting table.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the production of paper and pulp. These are two products are interrelated because to produce paper, raw materials are neededin the form of pulp. And often the paper production in the factory is excessive. This study aims to determine the optimal mainroll length according to demand so that overproduction will be minimized. The approach used is Integer Programming with the Branch and Bound method, where previously obtained combinations of possible paper arrangements on the mainroll with a maximum length of 80 km and a the width of 8,5 m. based on the optimal calculation results for the December 2022 production period, the mainroll length produced is 139,23 km which produced 14.891 reams for A4 paper, 10.539 reams for F4 paper and 10.239 reams for Q4 paper. The excess production of each type of paper was 0.34 %, 0,02 % dan 1,82 %, respectively. While the total overproduction for all types of paper sizes was 0,67 %. Production results in December 2022, overproduction of A4, F4 and Q4 were 1,15 %, 3,26 % and 2,92 %, respectively. While the total overproduction for all types of paper sizes was 2,28 %. The standart deviation of the calculation of real conditions is 1,13%, meaning that the deviation of excess production in real conditions is greater.

Abstract

The incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Indonesia's Science and Technology Index (SINTA) offers both significant opportunities and challenges for advancing research management, evaluation, and development. This paper examines the advantages of embedding AI into SINTA, such as the ability to automate the identification of predatory journals, provide personalized research recommendations, and enhance the accuracy of institutional rankings. Furthermore, AI can help analyze citation trends, streamline the peer review process, and detect plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct. However, this integration also brings several obstacles, including the need to ensure high-quality data, uphold transparency and fairness in AI-driven outcomes, protect data privacy, and address the substantial technological investments required. While AI holds the potential to greatly strengthen SINTA as a platform for overseeing and supporting research activities in Indonesia, overcoming these challenges is critical for its effective implementation. The study concludes that, with proper oversight and investment, integrating AI into SINTA could significantly boost the country's research ecosystem, fostering greater innovation and scientific productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of claims, reinsurance and investment returns on the tabarru' underwriting surplus (deficit) which is moderated by the proportion of tabbaru' funds. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The sample used in this research is companies in the Islamic financial institution industry, especially general Islamic insurance companies that are registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) as of December 31, 2021, totaling 18 companies. Research data were analyzed using panel regression analysis techniques with the Eviews program 12.0. The results of this study indicate that claims have a significant effect on the underwriting surplus (deficit) of tabarru' funds, likewise the proportion of tabbaru' funds can moderate the effect of claims on the underwriting surplus (deficit) of tabarru' funds. The results of this study also prove that reinsurance and investment returns are not a factor that can partially affect the underwriting surplus (deficit) of tabarru' funds, but simultaneously, claims, reinsurance and investment returns and the moderating effect of the proportion of tabarru' funds can affect the surplus (deficit) underwriting tabarru' funds with a contribution of 17.19%.
