Abstract

Customers nowadays demand high quality, affordable cost and fast and accurate delivery, which has pressurised the industry to make adjustment in order to meet customer needs. PT Adyawinsa Dynamics as one of the manufacturing industry engaged in the manufacture of dies, molding, and stamping, also strives to improve in meeting customer demands by referring to the Toyota Production System. Improvements can be done in the companys production system by planning a production plan based on the heijunka concept which is the foundation / basis of the implementation of the Toyota Production System. Problems occuring in the production line are consumer demand that always change, and unavailability of appropriate production control tools to cope with fluctuations in demand for parts and good control of production planning. Results of analysis shows decrease in stock since production will be run if there is demand from customers, and responding to customer needs can be quickly met.

Abstract

PT Z merupakan sebuah perusahaan garmen yang memproduksi celana jeans. Proses produksi celana jeanstersebut kurang optimal sehingga permintaan pelanggan tidak dapat terpenuhi. Salah satu penyebabnya adalahadanya fasilitas kerja (kursi) yang digunakan karyawan di lantai produksi lini D kurang nyaman. Hal inimengakibatkan adanya keluhan dari para karyawan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi keluhankaryawan, menentukan tingkat resiko sikap kerja, dan memberikan usulan perancangan fasilitas kerja berdasarkanpengukuran antropometri. Identifikasi keluhan karyawan menggunakan kuesioner Nordic body map. Tingkat resikosikap kerja diukur dengan menggunakan metoda Rapid Entire Body Assesment (REBA). Desain fasilitas kerjadirancang berdasarkan data antropometri tubuh, yaitu pengukuran panjang bokong popliteal (Pbp), panjangbuttock popliteal atau panjang tungkai atas (Pta) dan tinggi telapak kaki ke popliteal (Tkp). Hasil penelitian yangdiperoleh yaitu adanya keluhan karyawan yang meliputi: (1) sakit/kaku di leher bagian atas, (2) sakit pada pantat,(3) sakit/kaku di leher bagian bawah, (4) sakit pada punggung, (5) sakit pada pinggang, dan (6) sakit pada kakikiri. Sikap kerja yang menimbulkan resiko yaitu sikap kerja duduk pada stasiun kerja (SK): (1) kantong depancelana, dan (2) ban depan dan belakang. Perancangan fasilitas kerja berdasarkan pengukuran data antropometri,yaitu (1) panjang bokong popliteal Pbp menggunakan persentil 90 persen (P90%) sebesar 48,73 cm; (2) panjangbuttock popliteal (panjang tungkai atas) /Pta menggunakan persentil 90 persen (P90%) sebesar 30,44 cm; dan (3)tinggi telapak kaki ke popliteal/Tkp menggunakan persentil 50 persen (P50%) sebesar 39,84 cm. Perancanganfasilitas kerja yang diusulkan yaitu kursi karyawan dengan dimensi (49 x 31 x 40) cm dan menggunakan busasebagai pelapis.

Abstract

Abstract

PT XYZ merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang komponen otomotif melakukan proses produksi berdasarkan pesanan dari pelanggan, maka ketepatan waktu pengiriman produk dan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan sangatlah penting. Permasalahan utama PT XYZ adalah adanya keterlambatan pengiriman produk. Permasalahan selanjutnya adalah adanya penumpukan produk jadi di area penyimpanan, serta jadwal pengiriman belum tersusun dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian adalah menentukan pola kedatangan truk yang tiba pada waktu yang sama, menghitung waktu pulling pada keterlambatan pengiriman, dan menentukan alat informasi agar jadwal pengiriman dapat tersampaikan dengan baik. Hasil penelitian yang diharapkan adalah mengatur jam kedatangan truk dengan menggunakan shipping operation diagram agar tidak terjadi keterlambatan pengiriman barang dan tidak ada penumpukan barang jadi di area penyimpanan.

Abstract

Setting the Wellhead product level needs to be done as bbest as possible to avoid leaks when drilling for oil and natural gas which are caused by pressure differences during drilling. PT BDT as one of the companies that makes wellheads always tries to make the products they produce according to consumer desires. Even though PT BDT has tried its best, it has still received complaints from customers, because of leaks that occurred during drilling and had to incur costs for product replacement. The stages in the research process begin with conducting a field study to identify existing problems in the company and then continue with conducting a literature study to identify theories that can be used as solutions to overcome these problems. The method used to prevent weelhead leaks is the Taguchi method which consists of of three stages, namely stages: planning, implementation, and analysis. The influencing factors used are the amount of sand, the amount of paint, the thickness of the sun blasting, and the pressure of the compressor. This stage is carried out to calculate the influence of each factor used on the quality characteristics used, namely nominal is the best. Based on the results of the wellhead pressure test carried out after the experiment, the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) can be calculated. The best level results were obtained to prevent wellhead leaks by setting all levels at level 2, namely the amount of sand was 3.3 grams, the amount of paint was 4.5 liters, and the thickness of the sun was (1.5 mm). The amount of quality loss function incurred by the company due to the wellhead leak was IDR 759,900

Abstract

Pewangi adalah campuran minyak esensial, senyawa aromatik, fiksatif, dan pelarut yang digunakan oleh manusia, ruang, atau interior mobil. Membran pewangi harus dapat mengatur kecepatan sebaran dalam berbagai kondisi lingkungan, seperti kecepatan udara dan suhu. Tiner adalah cairan yang memiliki kemampuan untuk melarutkan resin dan mempermudah pencampuran resin dan pigment selama proses pembuatan cat. Konsentrasi tiner mempengaruhi mekanisme penguapan tiner, tekstur permukaan, sifat kilap, dan kecepatan kering. Program pelatihan teknis pembuatan pewangi dan tiner ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produk berkualitas tinggi dengan biaya bahan baku serendah mungkin, menggunakan bahan kimia yang tidak berbahaya, meningkatkan kualitas umur simpan produk, dan memenuhi Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Pelatihan pewangi dan tiner dapat membantu mitra memahami jenis pewangi dan tiner mana yang bagus untuk digunakan di industri otomotif. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa perlu ada pemantauan, variasi pewangi dan tiner yang lebih baik, dan kolaborasi untuk meningkatkan produk melalui penelitian dan pengujian produk yang lebih lanjut.

Abstract

This article is the result of a Community Service activity aimed at enhancing the creativity of the residents of Kalapagenep Village, Tasikmalaya, in managing coconut husk waste. The identified problem is that coconut husk waste is processed into cocopeat and cocofiber has not been widely utilized to create new products. To address this issue, we conducted training on processing coconut husk into cocopeat and coco fiber to produce high-value commodities. As a result, a motorcycle accessory product in the form of a motorcycle seat filled with coco fiber has been successfully created. It is hoped that this training will provide positive benefits to the local community and become a new source of livelihood, helping to reduce unemployment. Artikel ini merupakan hasil dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas masyarakat Desa Kalapagenep Tasikmalaya dalam mengelola limbah sabut kelapa. Masalah yang diidentifikasi yakni limbah sabut kelapa yang telah diproses menjadi cocopeat dan cocofiber masih belum banyak dimanfaatkan menjadi produk baru. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, kami melakukan kegiatan pelatihan pengolahan sabut kelapa cocopeat dan cocofiber menjadi komoditas yang bernilai jual tinggi. Hasilnya sebuah produk aksesoris sepeda motor berupa jok motor dengan isian jok berupa cocofiber telah berhasil dibuat. Diharapkan dengan adanya pelatihan ini dapat memberikan manfaat yang positif untuk masyarakat sekitar dan menjadi ladang mata pencaharian baru yang mampu mengurangi pengangguran.

Abstract

With the growth of the economy and market demand, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a significant role in economic development by providing employment opportunities and enhancing local economic growth, typically through small-scale production by artisans and small producers. UMKM XYZ is a small-scale service business specializing in motorcycle shock absorber repairs, employing three workers. In this workshop, issues related to workers' postures were identified, which caused discomfort and potential health problems. The Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method was utilized to evaluate the workers' body posture, including the positions of the neck, back, arms, wrists, and legs. Consequently, sample data were collected and analyzed to implement improvements in the shock absorber repair process. An assistive tool was designed as a proposed solution to improve workers' postures to be more ideal, resulting in lower REBA scores.

Abstract

The process of installing clips and wiring on the dump truck assembly line with an uncomfortable working posture of the operator, so that complaints due to fatigue often occur. This is because at the time of installation the part the operator has to bend because it is blocked by the battery. This study aims to assess the operator's work posture during the process of installing the clips and wiring, so that the risks obtained due to fatigue due to work can be known. The method used in this study is the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method. This method begins by distributing the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire to find out which parts of the body feel pain and fatigue. Based on the measurement results, the angle of the upper arm is 450 – 900 with a score value = 3, the lower arm is formed with an angle of 00 – 600 with a score = 2, the wrist part forms an angle of >150 with a score = 2. The results of the RULA table assessment based on the angles formed for each section, namely part A score=7, part B score 11, and part C score as end=7 are included in the high risk. Recommendations that can be given for high risk are observation and application of remedies.

Abstract

The warehouse has a very important role in the supply chain network to distribute products to consumers. PT XYZ warehouse uses a rack system to store products before they are distributed to the production process. The problem faced is that the placement of products is scattered and irregular depending on the conditions in the field, products that come are placed in empty places which can cause the storage space to become larger so that the warehouse capacity has not been fully utilized with a utilization rate of 105% and causes a decrease in the actual warehouse capacity. It’s necessary to rearrange the placement of products in the storage location to optimize the utilization rate of storage space, with the dedicated storage method.  This method is to solve the problems that occur in the warehouse layout which includes product placement in the warehouse by placing only one type of product in one storage room. In this method, products will be stored in a fixed location so that product storage is more organized. The results of the application of the dedicated storage method obtained a storage space utilization rate of 100%, while in the existing condition it was 105% with a percentage decrease of 5%.
