Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and training on the performance of veterinary laboratory analysts in supporting the effectiveness of public services in the field of animal health. The performance of laboratory analysts has a strategic role in ensuring the accuracy of test results and the quality of diagnostic data, so that increasing the capacity of human resources is an urgent need. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 154 respondents at the Lampung Veterinary Center. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test simultaneous and partial influences between variables. The results showed that both competence and training had a positive and significant effect on analyst performance (p < 0.05). Competency factors contribute the greatest to improving work accuracy and compliance with standard procedures. These findings confirm that investment in competency-based training and sustainable professional development is essential to improve the quality of veterinary laboratory services. Theoretically, the results of the study strengthen the model of the relationship between human capital development and organizational performance, while practically providing recommendations for policymakers in designing training strategies and performance evaluation systems based on ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of marketing strategies on accelerating the growth of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in Lampung Province. The study is based on the important role of MSEs in the national economy, but they still face various obstacles such as limited market access, low digital literacy, and weak implementation of effective marketing strategies. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey method. Primary data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 MSEs in four main districts/cities, while data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26. The results show that marketing strategies have a positive and significant effect on accelerating business growth. The implementation of good marketing strategies, both conventional and digital, has been proven to increase turnover, expand market reach, and strengthen the competitiveness of MSEs. These findings emphasize the importance of technology-based marketing planning and customer value. The implications of this study emphasize the need to improve the managerial capacity of MSEs, adopt digital technology, and support government policies to strengthen a sustainable digital marketing ecosystem in Lampung Province.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based investment applications on the quality of financial decision-making of students of the Management Study Program of the University of 17 Agustus 1945 (UNTAG) Banyuwangi. Although AI-based investment apps are growing in popularity among college students, there has been controversy over their accuracy and users' potential reliance on automated recommendations. In the midst of the increasing trend of application use, the low financial literacy condition of students creates an urgency to evaluate the effectiveness of AI as a tool to support investment decisions. This study used a quantitative method with a simple random sampling technique, and the sample calculation using the Slovin formula produced 257 respondents from a population of 717 students. Data analysis was carried out by simple linear regression, with independent variables in the form of the level of use of AI-based investment applications and dependent variables in the form of the quality of student financial decision-making. The results of the study show that the use of AI-based investment applications has a positive and significant effect on the quality of student financial decision-making. These findings indicate that although controversial, AI-based investment applications have the potential to be a promising solution in improving the risk understanding and rationality of students' financial decisions. This research provides implications for educational institutions and application developers to optimize the use of AI in the financial literacy of the younger generation.
