Abstract

The general objective of this research is to determine whether or not there is an influence of interpersonal communication and service quality on consumer satisfaction. The research hypothesis is that there is an influence of interpersonal communication and service quality on customer satisfaction. The subject of this research is consumers who use e-commerce. The subjects of this study consisted of men and women aged 18-23 years, totaling 60 people at the time of the trial and 60 people at the time of data collection. The data collected through the scale is then distributed to the research subjects. The data were then analyzed statistically using multiple regression analysis with SPSS version 16.0 for Windows. The analysis results obtained the value of R = 0.777 with p = 0.000 (p <0.01). The magnitude of the coefficient of determination (R-Square) of interpersonal communication and service quality on customer satisfaction is 60.3% (0.603). The general conclusion from this study is that there is a very significant positive influence between interpersonal communication and service quality on customer satisfaction. The higher the interpersonal communication skills and the quality of service employees provide, the higher the customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and job satisfaction on employee performance. Severe and essential element in a company to manage employees is not so easy because every employee has different characteristics and other factors to improve their performance. Likewise, PT Putra Bali also expects an increase in employee performance to achieve optimal company goals. This study used a quantitative descriptive method; the population was 130 permanent employees at PT Putra Bali in the city of Bandar Lampung. The technique for sampling in this study used a saturated sampling technique. This study processed the data using the SPSS version 25 application to obtain significant results. The results of multiple regression testing show that the variables of Work Discipline and Job Satisfaction positively affect Employee Performance based on the results of the regression equation and with the value of R Square. Based on statistical data, the indicators in this study are valid, and the variables are reliable. Hypothesis testing using the t-test shows that the variables of Work Discipline and Job Satisfaction are proven to affect the Employee Performance variable significantly. Then through the F test, it can be seen that the variables of Work Discipline and Job Satisfaction simultaneously influence employee performance variables with the result that the calculated F value is greater than the F table.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze empirical evidence of the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at the local brand Elizabeth in Bandar Lampung. The problem studied in this study is whether there is a positive relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction at the local brand Elizabeth in Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is the correlation method. The population in this study were customers of the local Elizabeth brand in Bandar Lampung, where the sample was taken using Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling with a total sample of 122 customers. The instrument reveals the data in a structured scale with five answer choices. The measuring tool to collect data is a questionnaire with 71 item statements. Based on the results of hypothesis testing and simple linear regression, it was obtained that the t value was 38,586 with a significant level of 0.000, while the t table with n = 122 and α = 0.05 received a value of -.678. It can be assumed that t count ≥ t table (38,586 > -.678 or sig < 0.05 (0.000 ≤ 0.05), then Ha is accepted while H 0 is rejected. While the R Square value in this study is 0.925, meaning that service quality is related to customer satisfaction by 93%. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been done, it is concluded that there is a relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction at the local brand Elizabeth in Bandar Lampung. The magnitude of the relationship is 93%, while other factors influence 7%.

Abstract

Marketing is the most essential part of a business. Marketing does not only look at unique products, low and attractive prices, and product availability for consumers. In the current era, one marketing activity is utilizing social media such as TikTok. In 2020 the use of TikTok reached 625 million. In Indonesia, TikTok users reached approximately 30 million users. On the platform, there is a link feature to e-commerce sites on user profiles; therefore, TikTok is a free service with exciting content as a promotional medium in sales. This research aims to find out marketing activities on TikTok media in increasing sales. This study used primary data by distributing questionnaires to online sellers to obtain data from sellers who use the media, with a sample of 35 respondents. The analysis used Simple Regression to test the influence on variables to provide recommendations that TikTok media is very influential in attracting consumers.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of mindful leadership and organizational commitment on employee performance in an organizational context. Mindful leadership is a leadership approach that integrates full awareness and attention in managing teams and organizations, while organizational commitment reflects the level of attachment, loyalty, and employee involvement. This study uses a quantitative approach by applying a questionnaire to employees of SMA in Bandar Lampung City. The collected data were analyzed using statistical regression techniques to examine the relationship between mindful leadership, organizational commitment, and employee performance. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of how these factors interact and influence employee performance in the work environment.

Abstract

Human resource development is the main strategy undertaken by companies to increase production and productivity. Referring to leadership in an organization of the Sharia Economic Forum which is engaged in the field of Islamic economics. An organization needs leadership because it will make simpler to realize its goal since there will be people in charge of effectively coordinating human resources. The findings of study done through in-person interviews with sources who are the chairman or president of Raden Mas Said State Islamic University's Sharia Economic Forum. In order to write this article with qualitative descriptive methods through interviews, it is expected that with good leadership, the organization will develop well, without a good leader, the organization will certainly be destroyed even with adequate human resources. The results of the research show that leadership in the Sharia Economic Forum organization is very influential, especially regarding the development of Human Resources in the organization. It is hoped that this group may become even more widespread among Raden Mas Said State Islamic University students as well as students at other universities with improved leadership on a daily basis.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the lecturer discipline at the Faculty of Economics and Business Islam UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Discipline is the process or result of directing or controlling a desire, urge, or interest toward an ideal or to produce more effective and reliable behavior. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive method. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. Based on the analysis results of the informants, the lecturer discipline of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business UIN Raden Mas was excellent. The results of this study explained that employees obey the rules set by the organization not because they fear punishment but because they understand and support them. To get the accreditation of a good agency, the discipline and responsibility of its employees will be necessary. With time management and cultivation, discipline will encourage officers to act and carry out all activities according to the rules that have been established.

Abstract

In general, various factors influence work productivity, such as motivation, assessment, training, and development but in this article, researchers will only focus on the work motivation of lecturers. Work motivation has an important role in improving work productivity. Work motivation will be the driving force for lecturers to carry out tasks or obligations. This research method is qualitative research using case study techniques through interviews with sources. According to research, the trigger for the emergence of work motivation in lecturers are influenced by several factors, firstly is the desire for life (desire of life) which  related to the salary, compensation, and bonuses provided by the college or place of work; secondly, the desire for position and power (the desire for position and power), where this is related to promotion; and finally, the desire for recognition (the desire of recognition), which is recognized for lecturer contributions and lecturer performance, giving praise for the achievements achieved by lecturers. Motivation also has an impact on lecturers, such as improving lecturer performance, lecturer productivity, and lecturer job satisfaction, which leads to the success of higher education.

Abstract

Human resource planning is the process of analyzing and identifying needs and availability to achieve goals. In Human Resource planning there are 2 components, namely needs and availability. Need is determining the number, skills, and location of employees who will be needed in the future to achieve organizational or company goals, while availability is determining whether the company will be safe if it is controlled by employees with the required expertise. Human Resource Planning in general is systematic planning to estimate employee needs and the availability of human resources in the future both in terms of quantity, type and quality to achieve common goals. The objectives of human resource planning are organizational, functional, social, personal goals. Actions that minimize the negative impact on the organization. If an organization fails to use its resources to generate societal benefits it can create obstacles. Personal goals designed to help employees achieve their goals, Minimum goals that increase individual contribution towards the organization, while the personal goals of employees should be consider whether employees should be retained, retired, or motivated. If personal goals are not accomplished, the employee's performance and happiness may suffer and they may quit the business.

Abstract

The role of human resource management in organizations in the Kartasura sub-district has been well designed and implemented in accordance with the needs of the region and the residents of Kartasura. The purpose of this research is to find out how the role of human resource management in the Kartasura sub-district is carried out. This research was conducted using qualitative methods such as observation, interviews, and literature review studies. The role of human resource management itself is divided into three. First, in administration, the Kartasura sub-district is responsible for carrying out the work program activities that have been designed. Second, operational and advocacy roles are carried out to control employees so that they can contribute well so that the work carried out can run effectively and efficiently. Third is the strategic role of human resources that must be carried out to support the work program that will be carried out. With the existence of a strategy in the work program that will be carried out, it is hoped that it can provide results that are in accordance with the goals desired by the company or organization.
