Abstract

Education stands as one of the primary pillars in nation-building. However, in many countries, disparities in access and quality of education remain significant issues that hinder the achievement of social equality. This research aims to delve deeply into the contribution of distance learning technology in expanding educational access and promoting social equality. The research method employed is a qualitative literature review drawing data from Google Scholar spanning from 2012 to 2024. The qualitative approach was chosen to allow the researcher to gain a profound and contextual understanding of the topic under study. The study findings indicate that distance learning technology holds significant potential in transforming the educational landscape towards social equality. Through online platforms, educational access can be extended to remote areas and to individuals who may not have had the opportunity to access quality education previously. The flexibility of learning time also emerges as one of the advantages of this technology, allowing individuals to tailor their study schedules according to their needs.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play a significant role in driving the local economy in many countries. SMEs contribute significantly to job creation, increasing per capita income, and reducing economic disparities. This research aims to examine the role of ICT in enhancing the managerial capacity of SMEs for achieving local economic sustainability. The research methodology employed in this study is a qualitative literature review that draws data from Google Scholar for the period 2012-2024. The study findings indicate that ICT has great potential in transforming the business paradigm of SMEs. Through appropriate adoption and adequate support, ICT enables SMEs to enhance operational efficiency, expand market reach, improve access to information and resources, and foster innovation and collaboration within the local business ecosystem.

Abstract

In recent years, social media has experienced rapid growth as the primary platform for interaction, information sharing, and community building. This phenomenon has transformed the communication landscape and influenced how companies interact with consumers. This research aims to deeply understand and contextualize the dynamics of social media interaction, implications for the manifestation of image, and digital business reputation in public perception. The research method employed is a qualitative literature review using data from Google Scholar for the period 1998-2023. The study results indicate that the dynamics of social media interaction have become crucial in the digital era, particularly in shaping the image and reputation of digital businesses in the eyes of the public. These interactions include responses to content, user interactions, as well as the role of influencers and communities in shaping public opinion. The image and reputation of digital businesses are formed through various mechanisms on social media, including user reviews, recommendations, and content dissemination by other users.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship among students has been a primary focus in the context of the ever-changing global economy. Students are often regarded as potential sources for innovation and economic growth in various countries. This research aims to stimulate awareness and entrepreneurial skills of students through the strong role of social media. In this study, the method employed is a qualitative literature review, drawing data from Google Scholar within the timeframe of 2020 to 2024. The study results indicate that in the rapidly evolving digital era, social media plays a highly significant role in influencing life, including education and entrepreneurship. Social media provides broad access to information, ideas, and opportunities for students. With the right approach, social media can stimulate awareness and develop entrepreneurial skills among students.

In the continually evolving digital business era, information security has become paramount for organizations to ensure the continuity of their operations. Information security systems involve not only technology but also organizational and social factors that play a crucial role in managing human resources. This research aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of how human resources can influence the success of information security systems in the context of digital business. The research method employed in this study is a qualitative literature review with data collection from Google Scholar for the years 2006-2024. The study findings indicate that in the ever-evolving digital era, information security is crucial in the context of digital business. Information security systems rely not only on technology but also on organizational, social, and human factors. Effective integration of technology, organization, and human resources is key to creating a strong and adaptive information security environment.

Abstract

The growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) has become a key driver of the economy in many countries, including Indonesia. MSMEs not only make significant contributions to job creation but also play a crucial role in supporting economic inclusion and reducing socio-economic disparities. This research aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the business incubation strategy of information technology and its impact on the growth of MSMEs in the community environment. This study utilizes a literature review method to compile a comprehensive understanding of the topic and gather data from Google Scholar for the years 1994-2023. The results of the study indicate that the business incubation strategy of information technology has significant potential in stimulating innovation and supporting the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the community environment. By providing access, training, collaboration, and appropriate financial support, MSMEs can more effectively utilize information technology to enhance their competitiveness and productivity.

Abstract

Many businesses are currently transitioning to digital models, relying on information technology to store, manage, and process critical information. However, with increased technology usage, threats to information security are also on the rise. This research aims to measure the engagement of human resources in information security practices in the context of technology-based businesses. The research method employed is a qualitative literature review aimed at investigating various perspectives, approaches, and findings related to human resource engagement in information security practices in technology-based business contexts. Data for this literature review were obtained through searching scholarly articles using the Google Scholar search engine, spanning from 2006 to 2023. The study findings indicate that in the continuously evolving digital era, human resource engagement in information security practices is crucial for the success and sustainability of technology-based businesses. This responsibility extends beyond the IT department and involves collective responsibility throughout the organization. Measuring this engagement requires a holistic approach involving management, operational levels, and corporate culture.
