Abstract

With the development of the banking world in the community regarding the existence of interest called usury', regulations emerged that permitted banking business activities based on sharia principles that do not use interest but use profit sharing. The difference between interest at conventional banks and profit sharing at Islamic banks is that interest is the actualization of usury which is definitely forbidden by Islam. The equation that is hard to argue with is that actually the application of interest to banks has more harm than good, profit sharing is something that is covered by sharing the results of business between the provider of funds and the fund manager. The distribution of business results occurs between the bank and the depositor, or the bank and the beneficiary customer. Banks as intermediary institutions collect funds from people who experience a surplus of funds and distribute them back to people who need funds. The most important allocation of funds for banking activities is the allocation of loan funds, which are known as conventional-based credit and sharia-based financing. The difference between credit and financing lies in the advantages that wanted.

Abstract

Utilization of mutation induction or artificial mutation is one of the breeding techniques used in improving plant characteristics, such as increasing plant genetic diversity, increasing production, accelerating harvest age, and resistance to pests and diseases. This study uses the RAL method (Complete Randomized Design) consisting of 3 factors and 3 levels, namely Factor I AGNPS-A Administration at the level of Z0 = Control, Z1 = 2 MST, Z2 = 5 MST; Factor II Diethyl Sulfate Concentration at the level of S0 = Control, S1 = 0.05%, S2 = 1% and Factor III Immersion Duration at the level of J1 = 8 Hours and J2 = 16 Hours. The results showed that the single effect of AGNPS-A was significantly different on plant height at the age of 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, and 5 weeks, number of leaves, number of tillers, number of tubers, wet weight of tubers and dry weight of tubers; the single effect of diethyl sulfate concentration was significantly different on plant height at the age of 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, and 5 weeks, number of leaves, number of tillers, number of tubers, wet weight of tubers and dry weight of tubers. The interaction effect of AGNPS-A, diethyl sulfate concentration and soaking time was significantly different on plant height at the age of 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, and 5 weeks, number of tubers, wet weight of tubers, but not significantly different on the number of leaves, number of tillers and wet weight of tubers.

Abstract

Corn (Zea mays L.) is one of the main food commodities after rice, and corn is a strategic commodity in agricultural development and driving the national economy [1]. Horticultural crop cultivation techniques in Indonesia, including maize, have different adaptability and depend on local conditions so that each region has morphological and physiological characteristics. This is evidenced by the release of the latest certified purple varieties from local varieties. Original varieties are plant varieties that have existed and been cultivated by farmers for generations, belong to the community and are controlled by the state. In Indonesia, germplasm is dominated by local varieties which play a role as a technological component in maintaining genetic, ecological and cultural diversity [3]. Indonesia as a constitutional state has various legal rules that form the basis of state and social life. One area of law that is regulated is Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Plant variety protection rights are commonly referred to as plant variety rights. The purpose of this research is to study PVP of corn plants to increase knowledge, especially in the development and protection of native varieties. This research method is a literature study. Literature study research is a research method that aims to analyze and evaluate existing literature. PVP is also carried out to encourage and provide opportunities for the business world to increase its role in various aspects of agricultural development. This is increasingly important considering that the compilation of superior cultivars in Indonesia is still mostly carried out by government research institutions.
