Abstract

This study discusses the Analysis of Values in the Popene'e Tradition in Lauje Tribe Weddings held in Ambesia Induk Village, Tomini District, Parigi Moutong Regency. The Popene'e tradition is a form of cultural heritage that is still carried out from generation to generation by the Lauje tribe, especially in a series of wedding processions. The purpose of this study  is to identify and describe the eight stages of the implementation of the Popene'e tradition and to reveal the cultural, social, and religious values contained therein. This  study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are carried out through direct observation, in depth interviews with traditional leaders, the Ambesia community, and the community participating in the tradition, as well as documentation of the implementation of the  Popene'e tradition. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.  The results of the study indicate that theiPopene'e tradition consists of eight main stages, each of which has its own symbols and philosophical meanings, such as responsibility in the household, loyalty, hard work, mutual cooperation, and respect for ancestors. The  values contained in this tradition include: social values in the form of mutual cooperation and solidarity between residents, cultural values in  the form  of  preserving customs, religious values reflected in the form of prayer and spiritual respect and educational values of character building.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and product completeness on consumer satisfaction at Zanafa Bookstore 2 Marpoyan Branch. The sample in this study were consumers at Zanafa Bookstore 2 Marpoyan Branch totaling 96 respondents. The variables studied in this study were the Service Quality variable, the Product Completeness variable and the Consumer Satisfaction variable. The data analysis used multiple linear regression methods using validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, heteroscedasticity tests, multiple linear regression tests, partial t tests, f tests, determination coefficient tests (R2) with the help of SPSS. The test was carried out in order to determine the effect of independent variables and dependent variables. Based on the results of the study, it shows that partially and simultaneously there is an influence between the price and service quality variables on consumer satisfaction of 27.4% and the remaining 72.6% is influenced by other factors outside the study. After conducting a partial t-test on the Service Quality variable X1 where t count = 3.833 t table 1.985 and a significant probability value of 0.005 0.05, and the Product Completeness variable X2 where t count = 4.658 t table 1.985 and a significant probability value of 0.077 0.05. Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) hold a strategic role in Indonesia’s reeconomy, especially as a major contributor of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and labor absorption. However, SMEs still face various constraints, notably limited access to capital and markets. The presence of financial technology (financial technology/fintech) becomes an alternative solution to expand access to financing while facilitating financial transactions. This study aims to know the influence of fintech adoption on SME growth. The method used was an explanatory quantitative research with survey technique on a number of fintech user SME respondents in Padang City. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with tests of validity, reliability, as well as classical assumptions testing as supporting measures. The study results show that fintech adoption positively and significantly affects the growth of SMEs. The dimensions of ease of use, usefulness, accessibility, and security proved to make a real contribution towards the increase in omzet, the number of customers, as well as the expansion of SMEs’ market access. The conclusion of this study is that the utilization of fintech is capable of driving the growth of SMEs and can be an important instrument in strengthening the competitiveness of small businesses in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Current Ratio (CR) and Debt To Asset Ratio (DAR) on Return On Assets (ROA) at PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk for the 2015-2024 period partially or simultaneously. Type of research. The type of research used is quantitative. The sample used in this study is the financial statements in the form of financial position statements and profit and loss statements of PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk for the 2015-2024 period. The analysis technique uses descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination (Adjusted R2), t test and f test using SPSS Version 27. The results of this study indicate that partially, Current Ratio (CR) does not have a significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA) with the results of the t-value test t table (1.759 2.365) and a significant value greater than 0.05, namely 0.122 (0.122 0.05). Debt To Asset Ratio (DAR) has a significant negative effect on Return On Asset (ROA) with the results of the t-test being greater than the t-table (-4.491 2.365) and a significant value smaller than 0.05, namely 0.003 (0.003 0.05). Simultaneously, there is an influence between the Current Ratio (CR) Debt To Asset Ratio (DAR) on Return On Asset (ROA).

Abstract

This study explores the social dynamics of adolescents involved in illegal street racing in Pekanbaru City, specifically along Jenderal Sudirman street. The objective is to understand the process of youth involvement in street racing and examine the underlying social factors. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through observation, interviews, and field documentation. The findings reveal that adolescent involvement in street racing occurs gradually, starting from peer influence and curiosity, eventually leading to active participation. This activity is driven not only by entertainment needs but also by the search for identity and social recognition. Street racing is conducted collectively and has formed a subculture with its own norms and symbols. Weak family control, lack of legal avenues for expression, and ineffective informal social control contribute to the persistence of this phenomenon. The impact is directly felt by local residents in the form of noise disturbances, fear, and economic losses. The study concludes that street racing reflects a complex social dynamic among adolescents, requiring an integrated approach involving families, communities, and government authorities.

Abstract

This research aims to study Indonesian cultural diplomacy through the art of gamelan as an instrument of soft power in strengthening the image of Indonesia in the United States, with a focus on the role of the American Gamelan Institute (AGI) during 2019–2022. The background of this research is based on the importance of culture as a strategic tool in international relations, especially in building international mutual understanding amidst the limitations of formal political diplomacy. The gamelan, as Indonesia’s world-class cultural heritage, became a representative symbol in that effort. In this study a qualitative approach with descriptive method of analysis was used. Data were collected through literature study, documentation, and interviews with relevant parties, such as representatives of AGI and the Ministry of Education and Culture. Research highlights AGI’s programs such as concerts, workshops, and cultural collaborations that successfully expanded the American public’s understanding of Indonesian culture. In addition, the study also identified various challenges faced, such as funding constraints, cultural differences, as well as lack of active participation on the part of Indonesia.The results show that although AGI is an organization pioneered by the American community, its existence is very strategic to support Indonesian cultural diplomacy. The support of the Indonesian government and the role of Indonesian cultural actors need to be enhanced for this cultural diplomacy to be more optimal in creating Indonesia’s image in the eyes of the world. This research contributes to the development of international relations studies, particularly the fields of cultural diplomacy and public diplomacy.

Abstract

Supervision from leaders and internal organizational communication are important factors that can influence the level of employee job satisfaction. In an effort to increase job satisfaction, a supportive work environment is needed, where efficient supervision and communication are the keys to success. This study aims to analyze the influence of supervision from leaders and internal organizational communication on employee job satisfaction at Kinderfield Highfield School Bekasi. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 97 respondents. Data processing was carried out using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 25 program. The results of the study indicate that partially the Supervision variable from Leaders (X1) has an influence on Employee Job Satisfaction (Y), and the Internal Organizational Communication variable (X2) has an influence on Employee Job Satisfaction (Y). Simultaneously, Supervision from Leaders (X1) and Internal Organizational Communication (X2) have influence on Employee Job Satisfaction (Y).

Abstract

Transactional Leadership Style is one of the key factors influencing employee performance. Another factor affecting employee performance is compensation. As a company engaged in the technology sector, particularly in the crucial field of weather radar, PT. Era Elektra Corpora Indonesia must optimize employee productivity. This study aims to analyze the influence of Transactional Leadership Style and Compensation on employee performance at PT. Era Elektra Corpora Indonesia. The research method used is quantitative with a saturated sampling technique, involving the entire population of 35 employees as respondents. Data were collected through workplace observation and structured questionnaires, then analyzed using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 25. Results indicate that, partially, Transactional Leadership Style (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y), with a t-count of 4.725 t-table of 2.03, a significance value of 0.000 0.05, and an R Square of 51.1%. Compensation (X2) also shows a positive and significant effect, with a t-count of 3.167 t-table of 2.03, significance value of 0.003 0.05, and an R Square of 36.9%. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect performance, with an F-count of 27.018 3.29, significance 0.000 0.05, and a contribution of 60.5%, making them strategic factors in improving performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Presisi Kurnia Makmur Cileungsi. The research employed a quantitative approach with an associative method. The population consisted of 36 employees in the production division, all of whom were taken as samples using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS version 25. The validity and reliability tests confirmed that the research instrument was appropriate, while the classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity) indicated that the data met the requirements for regression analysis. Multiple linear regression results showed that: (1) leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a t-value of 3.028, a significance level of 0.005, and a regression coefficient of 0.386; (2) work discipline has a positive and significant effect with a t-value of 4.166, a significance level of 0.000, and a regression coefficient of 0.590; and (3) simultaneously, both variables significantly influence employee performance with an F-value of 40.165, a significance level of 0.000, and an R² of 0.709. The findings highlight the importance of implementing a communicative and motivational leadership style along with consistent discipline enforcement through clear rules, effective supervision, and balanced rewards to enhance employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the extent to which work facilities, work discipline, and work motivation contribute to improving employee work performance at the Communication and Informatics Office of Tasikmalaya City. The research method used is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The types of data used include primary and secondary data, while the sampling technique is carried out by census of all employees of the Communication and Informatics Office of Tasikmalaya City. Data analysis uses multiple regression to test the simultaneous and partial effects of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of the study prove that work facilities, work discipline, and work motivation together have a significant effect on employee work performance. Furthermore, partial analysis also shows that each variable, namely work facilities, work discipline, and work motivation, has a significant effect on employee work performance.
