Abstract

Era transformasi digital menghadirkan tantangan sekaligus peluang bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Namun, banyak UMKM yang menghadapi hambatan dalam mengadopsi teknologi digital karena keterbatasan literasi digital dan tingginya biaya perangkat lunak berlisensi. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital UMKM di Bandar Lampung dengan memperkenalkan teknologi open-source seperti GnuCash untuk manajemen keuangan dan Odoo untuk pengelolaan inventaris. Alat ini menyediakan solusi yang terjangkau yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi bisnis, merampingkan operasional, dan meningkatkan daya saing di pasar digital. Program ini mencakup sesi pelatihan dan pendampingan teknis berkelanjutan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan adopsi teknologi The digital transformation era presents both challenges and opportunities for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, many MSMEs face obstacles in adopting digital technologies due to limited digital literacy and high costs of proprietary software. This community service program aims to enhance digital literacy among MSMEs in Bandar Lampung by introducing open-source technologies such as GnuCash for financial management and Odoo for inventory control. These tools provide affordable solutions that can improve business efficiency, streamline operations, and increase competitiveness in the digital marketplace. The program includes training sessions and ongoing technical assistance to ensure the sustainability of technology adoption.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the ability of students of the Bachelor of Mathematics Study Program FMIPA University of Lampung to use LaTeX for thesis writing. LaTeX was chosen because it is able to produce documents with a professional format, especially in managing mathematical equations and document layout. The training was held on October 24, 2024 at the Computer Laboratory ofthe Mathematics Department with 19 fifth semester students participating. The methods used include providing training modules, using LaTeX-based thesis templates, and hands-on practice using the Overleaf platform. The training results showed that 95% of participants recognized theimportance of using LaTeX, with 93% feeling satisfied with the training implementation. However, time efficiency was evaluated with a score of 80%, indicating the need for further training. Participants showed high enthusiasm and were able to practice LaTeX features, including table creation and writing mathematical equations. Through this training, students are equipped with technical skills to produce a thesis that is not only content-quality but also meets academic standards. Thus, this activity supports the strengthening of student competencies while supporting the University of Lampung as a higher education institution that excels in academics and research.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has brought significant changes in various fields, including the business world. This provides students with the opportunity to engage in the digital-based business world. Many students of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Ma'arif Kotagajah, Lampung Tengah are interested in entrepreneurship. However, it is still hindered by limitations in utilizing technology and creativity to develop businesses and ventures. Therefore, this community service activity is conducted in the form of training aimed at improving students' understanding and skills. This entrepreneurship training emphasizes the use of digital technology and student creativity in entrepreneurship. The methods used include lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice related to digital marketing, digital financial management, and the development of innovative business ideas. This training is expected to equip students with practical and adaptive skills, and be prepared to compete in the modern business world.

Abstract

This service is carried out for the needs and strategies applied, for school-age children in Mulyo Sari Village, Tanjung Sari District in the utilization of IT (Information Technology) so that they can face the increasingly rapid development of technology. Problems that occur due to a lack of understanding of children in the introduction and use of IT at this time, can hurt children such as decreased motivation to learn, and some are less socialized because they are busy playing gadgets. The benefits of developing technology also have a positive impact, such as being a means and infrastructure for learning in the search for knowledge. To avoid negative consequences, assistance in utilizing technology is excellent. For this reason, it is hoped that the service will assist in utilizing technological developments in school-age children. Pengabdi will share by providing understanding material, and knowledge about the use of IT which is growing rapidly today. This service went well and had a good impact, 10% of the number of school-age children who participated in this service knew and could type using a laptop. Now 95% of school-age children already understand the parts and how to operate a laptop, not only that, but also increased knowledge about healthy IT pattern literacy.

Abstract

The need for learning innovation using technology is urgently needed. One of them is in the world of education. This service activity aims to provide training on the use of Maple 18 software as a technology to support learning for Mathematics Education students at the Muhammadiyah University of Pringsewu Lampung with a focus on the use of Maple 18 software in derivative material. The method used in this service is the lecture method followed by the discussion and question and answer method, followed by the simulation method and direct practice and evaluation method. This service activity has work stages, starting with the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages to determine whether the service activity meets the target, namely increasing learning experiences related to the use of Maple 18 software as supporting technology in learning.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial spirit is very important because it can help improve the quality of life of the community by creating high-quality products and services. Entrepreneurial spirit also helps improve community welfare and increase economic welfare. Entrepreneurial spirit is instilled from an early age because it can help someone become a more independent person, think creatively and progressively. This community service activity is carried out to foster an independent entrepreneurial spirit for Students at the Radin Intan Youth Social Service Unit (PSBR), Bandar Lampung. The implementation of this community service activity is through 3 (three) stages, namely the preparation stage, the activity implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. This activity uses a lecture method, including discussions on technopreneurship, Entrepreneurship in the Digital Era, E-Commerce where participants carry out simulations using cellphones. The results of this activity are that students are expected to be able to provide increased abilities and motivation for learning participants to utilize technology in student business activities where students are able to manage e-commerce accounts, manage business WA and manage digital marketing with social media

Abstract

English classes require a lot of vocabulary understanding, if children do not have this ability, then it is certain that English classes cannot run optimally. Therefore, the use of flashcards can help students to improve mastery of English vocabulary. The method of implementing service activities used is a qualitative method with an analytical descriptive, verification, and exploratory approach. The type of data collected is primary data obtained from structured interviews to sources of information (key informants and informants), namely the principal, teachers, and school officials, as well as making direct observations in the fifth grade. The data analysis technique uses a qualitative descriptive model in the form of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The use of flashcards is proven to be able to improve students' knowledge and understanding in English classes.   Keywords: flashcard, English vocabulary, analytical descriptive   Abstrak   Kelas bahasa inggris memerlukan pemahaman kosa kata yang banyak, jika anak tidak punya kemampuan ini maka bisa dipastikan kelas Bahasa inggris tidak bisa berjalan dengan maksimal. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan flashcard dapat membantu para siswa untuk dapat meningkatkan penuasaan kosa kata Bahasa inggris. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis, verifikatif, dan eksploratif. Jenis data yang dikumpulkan adalah data primer yang diperoleh dari wawancara yang terstruktur ke sumber informasi (informan kunci dan informan) yaitu kepala sekolah, guru guru , dan pihak sekolah, serta melakukan observasi langsung di kelas V. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model deskriptif kualitatif dalam bentuk pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan Kesimpulan. Penggunaan flashcard ini terbukti mampu maningkatkan pengtahuan dan pemahaman siswa dalam kelas Bahasa inggris.   Kata Kunci: flashcard, kosakata Bahasa inggris, analisis descriptive
