Abstract

This article analyzes the fundamental changes that occurred in the development of theatrical art in Uzbekistan with the establishment of Soviet power based on historical sources. The study covers the processes of subordinating the theater to ideological tasks in 1918–1930, the formation of amateur and semi-professional troupes, and the transfer of theater activities to centralized management by the People's Commissariat of Education. The contribution of such creators as Abdulla Kadirov-Tanburiy, Ikroma Boltaeva, and Majid Mamatov to the formation and development of the musical drama theater in the Kashkadarya oasis is analyzed separately.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of academic olympiads in improving student achievement and developing gifted education in the post-independence period. The research examines the impact of science competitions on students’ academic motivation, intellectual development, and national education quality. A descriptive qualitative method was applied through analysis of educational policy documents, competition reports, and secondary statistical data from national and international sources. The results indicate that academic olympiads contribute significantly to identifying talented students, enhancing problem-solving skills, and increasing international competitiveness. However, disparities in access, teacher preparation, and regional support remain key challenges. The study concludes that strengthening institutional support and inclusive talent development policies is essential for maximizing the educational benefits of academic olympiads.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguatkan hafalan Al-Qur’an santri melalui pembiasaan murāja‘ah reflektif di salah satu pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Bekasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain dua siklus yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas tujuh santri tahfidz. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara dengan guru halaqah dan santri, serta dokumentasi selama proses murāja‘ah berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan murāja‘ah reflektif mampu meningkatkan kestabilan hafalan santri secara bertahap. Pada kondisi pra-tindakan, murāja‘ah dilakukan secara mekanis dan hafalan santri cenderung tidak stabil. Pada Siklus I, santri mulai menunjukkan kesadaran terhadap kesalahan hafalan dan keterlibatan aktif dalam proses murāja‘ah. Perbaikan tindakan pada Siklus II menghasilkan peningkatan yang lebih signifikan, ditandai dengan hafalan yang lebih stabil, berkurangnya kesalahan berulang, serta meningkatnya kemandirian santri dalam melakukan murāja‘ah. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan murāja‘ah reflektif efektif dalam menguatkan hafalan Al-Qur’an santri dan dapat dijadikan alternatif strategi pembelajaran tahfidz di lingkungan pesantren.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur’an santri melalui penerapan metode tasmi’ pada salah satu Rumah Qur’an di Tambun, Bekasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas sepuluh santri. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes lisan (tasmi’), observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar serta deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis proses pembelajaran dan perubahan perilaku santri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan hafalan santri setelah penerapan metode tasmi’. Nilai rata-rata hafalan santri meningkat dari 56,5 pada Siklus I menjadi 72,6 pada Siklus II. Persentase ketuntasan belajar juga mengalami peningkatan dari 40% pada Siklus I menjadi 70% pada Siklus II. Secara kualitatif, metode tasmi’ terbukti mampu meningkatkan ketepatan tajwid, kefashihan (faṣāḥah), kelancaran bacaan, fokus, serta kecepatan durasi menghafal santri. Dengan demikian, metode tasmi’ efektif digunakan sebagai strategi pembelajaran tahfidz Al-Qur’an di rumah Qur’an untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan retensi hafalan santri.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the quality of Hadith learning through the application of academic supervision by school principals and the use of mind mapping media in Islamic Religious Education learning. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach with the Kurt Lewin model which is carried out in two cycles, including the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of Islamic Religious Education teachers and grade VIII students. Data collection techniques include observation, tests, and documentation, while data analysis is carried out descriptively, qualitatively, and quantitatively. The results of the study showed that in cycle II there was a significant increase in teacher performance, student learning activities, and Hadith memorization ability. The teacher's performance reached 86%, the student's learning activities reached 85%, and the completeness of Hadith memorization reached 88% with an average class score of 81. These findings show that continuous academic supervision and the application of mind mapping media are able to improve the quality of the process and learning outcomes of Hadith. Thus, this study concludes that the synergy between academic supervision and visual-based learning strategies is effectively applied as an effort to improve the quality of Hadith learning and professional development of teachers.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of local wisdom into the education. This research aims to examine how local values ​​such as reciprocal cooperation, deliberation, and respect for cultural diversity can be integrated into modern pedagogical practices to create a more inclusive, adaptive, and humanistic learning environment, using a case study and literature review approach or method. In the face of evolving educational paradigms, local wisdom offers a framework for promoting social responsibility, ethical behavior, and a sense of belonging among students. Integrating these traditional values ​​into the curriculum can foster a deeper connection between students and their cultural roots, while developing essential skills needed in today's interconnected world. This approach not only improves students' academic achievement but also strengthens their character, preparing them for leadership roles in local and global communities. Furthermore, the application of local wisdom in education supports the creation of a more inclusive and participatory learning environment. Values ​​such as reciprocal cooperation emphasize collaboration and teamwork, encouraging students to contribute to society and support each other's success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menigkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran interaktif pada materi “ Allah Adalah Sumber Keselamatan Sejati”. Penelitian ini dirancang dalam bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang di landaskan melalui dua siklus pembelajaran. Setiap sikus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan tindakan, pelaksaanaan pembelajaran, pengamatan terhadap proses, serta refleksi untuk perbaikan ke siklus berikutnya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes untuk mengukur capaian hasil belajar serta lembar observasi guna menilai keterlibatan siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran yang bersifat interaktif memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan keaktifan siswa dan pencapaian belajar yang mengalami peningkatan secara bertahap pada setiap siklus. Dengan demikian, metode pembelajaran interaktif efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar serta menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih aktif dan bermakna dalam Pendidikan Agama Katolik. Pada siklus I, sebagian peserta didik mulai menunjukkan keterlibatan dalam diskusi kelompok, meskipun masih terdapat siswa yang pasif dan kurang percaya diri dalam menyampaikan pendapat. Hasil evaluasi pada tahap ini memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan dibandingkan kondisi awal, namun belum mencapai indicator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Oleh karena itu, perbaikan strategi dilakukan pada siklus II dengan memberikan bimbingan yang lebih terarah, penguatan motivasi, serta pengelolaan waktu yang lebih efektif. Pada siklus II, aktivitas dan keberanian siswa dalam bertanya maupun menanggapi pendapat teman meningkat secara signifikan. Peningkatan tersebut berdampak langsung pada hasil evaluasi akhir yang menunjukkan ketuntasan siswa yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran interaktif tidak hanya meningkatkan aspek kognitif tetapi membentuk sikap percaya diri, kerja sama, dan tanggung jawab siswa dalam menerapkan nilai iman.

Abstract

This article examines the lingua-poetic functions of synecdoche in English and Uzbek literary discourse from a comparative perspective. As a figure of speech grounded in the semantic relation between part and whole, synecdoche performs not merely a decorative role but also an interpretive and structural one within literary language. It condenses meaning, intensifies imagery, and transforms concrete lexical units into carriers of broader psychological, social, and philosophical significance. The analysis demonstrates that in English literature synecdoche frequently serves to heighten dramatic tension, philosophical generalization, and perceptual focus, whereas in Uzbek literature it more often articulates collective emotion, social atmosphere, and culturally embedded patterns of figurative thinking. Through the close analysis of selected literary passages from English and Uzbek literary traditions, the study demonstrates that synecdoche functions as a significant mechanism of semantic compression and aesthetic expansion in both traditions.

Abstract

The study explores the linguistic representation of gender categories in English and Uzbek through a corpus-based comparative typological approach. Gender has become an important topic in contemporary linguistics, as language not only reflects social structures but also contributes to the construction of social identities. The research examines the semantic and functional behavior of gender-related lexical units in two languages that belong to different linguistic families and cultural traditions. Data for the analysis were obtained from large language corpora, including the Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA) and the British National Corpus for English, as well as available Uzbek language corpora and digital text collections. The analysis focuses on several key gender-related lexical items such as woman, man, gender, masculinity, femininity, and their Uzbek equivalents. Quantitative and qualitative methods were used to investigate frequency patterns, collocational behavior, and contextual usage. The results reveal both similarities and differences in the linguistic representation of gender categories. While English demonstrates a broader range of discourse contexts related to gender identity and social roles, Uzbek usage patterns appear to be more closely linked to cultural and social norms. The findings contribute to comparative linguistics and gender studies by providing empirical evidence about the ways gender categories are encoded in two typologically different languages. The study also highlights the importance of corpus-based methods in identifying linguistic patterns that might not be immediately visible through traditional qualitative analysis.

Abstract

Preschool education plays a critical role in shaping a child’s future. It is during these early years that children begin to develop key cognitive, emotional, and social skills that lay the foundation for lifelong learning. As the global focus on early childhood education grows, parents and educators alike are looking at which countries provide the best preschool education. This article delves into the strengths and weaknesses of preschool systems around the world, examining what makes them successful and which countries stand out for their excellence in early education. The results showed that an effective preschool education model is characterized by child-centered pedagogy, play-based methodology, high professional training of teachers, and quality monitoring. Adapting international experience to the national system is an important scientific and practical resource.
