Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of new technologies on audit evidence evaluation and the modernization of audit standards. With advancements in technology, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and blockchain, the audit process has undergone significant changes in how evidence is collected, analyzed, and evaluated. These technologies enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in audits, but also pose challenges in terms of auditor adaptation and the updating of audit standards. This literature review identifies that the use of AI and big data allows auditors to handle large volumes of data more quickly, while blockchain offers solutions to improve the security and integrity of audit evidence. Although the benefits are substantial, the implementation of new technologies requires regulatory updates, the development of auditors' technical skills, and adjustments to existing infrastructure. This study suggests the need for collaboration between auditors, regulators, and technology developers to ensure the appropriate and effective use of technology in auditing. The findings are expected to provide guidance for audit professionals and regulatory authorities in navigating the rapid changes in the auditing landscape.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of acquisitions in corporate governance transfer, focusing on the impact of governance gaps between the acquiring and target companies before the acquisition. Through a qualitative literature review, this research identifies that the existing governance gaps can affect the success of post-acquisition integration and its impact on the long-term performance of the acquired company. Previous studies have shown that acquisitions can provide an opportunity to improve corporate governance practices; however, their success heavily depends on managing the governance differences between the two entities. Additionally, factors such as organizational culture, managerial readiness, and communication policies also play a significant role in facilitating effective governance transfer. The conclusion of this study is that although acquisitions can offer benefits in terms of governance transfer, managing governance gaps effectively is crucial to achieving optimal outcomes. This research contributes to the understanding of governance transfer dynamics in the context of acquisitions and provides insights for practitioners and policymakers involved in the corporate acquisition process.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of the Expectation-Confirmation Model (ECM) and Task-Technology Fit (TTF) in understanding the sustainability of cloud-based e-learning in educational institutions. Using a qualitative literature review approach, this research examines relevant prior studies to analyze the relationship between task-technology fit, expectation confirmation, and users' continuance intention. The findings reveal that the alignment between e-learning technology features and users’ task needs significantly contributes to perceived usefulness and satisfaction, ultimately driving continuance intention. Additionally, external factors such as institutional support and system quality play crucial roles in sustaining usage. The integration of ECM and TTF provides a more comprehensive analytical framework to explain users' post-adoption behavior towards cloud-based e-learning.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of collaboration between artificial intelligence (AI) platforms and Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) in enhancing the digital transformation of SMEs. Digital transformation is key to ensuring the sustainability and competitiveness of SMEs in the digital age, yet many face challenges in adopting advanced technologies. Collaboration between AI and DIHs can offer solutions to overcome these barriers. AI platforms provide automation and data analytics capabilities, while DIHs offer technical support, training, and innovation facilities to assist SMEs in implementing technology. This study uses a qualitative literature review methodology to identify and analyze previous research related to this topic. The findings suggest that this collaboration can enhance productivity, operational efficiency, and market access for SMEs. However, challenges such as resource limitations, resistance to change, and digital readiness of SMEs are critical factors to consider in its implementation. This research provides valuable insights for policymakers, academics, and practitioners in designing strategies to accelerate the digital transformation of SMEs through collaboration between AI and DIHs.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of tax reforms on stock market efficiency, focusing on how policy changes influence liquidity, price dynamics, and information flow within financial markets. Using the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) of 2017 as a case study, this research explores how tax reductions affect corporate decision-making, trading behavior, and the efficiency of asset pricing. The findings suggest that while tax reforms can enhance short-term liquidity and improve transparency in stock pricing, they also introduce challenges such as increased market volatility and information asymmetry. These results underscore the importance of aligning tax policies with market stability goals to optimize investor confidence and overall market efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to review the challenges faced in the risk-return relationship within multifactor portfolios, with a focus on the implications for market volatility management. Through a literature review, this research identifies various factors that influence volatility and how volatility management can enhance portfolio performance. The analysis reveals that while multifactor portfolios offer advantages in diversification and risk management, market volatility remains a key challenge in achieving a balance between risk and return. This study also uncovers that active volatility strategies outperform passive ones, but they require a deep understanding of market dynamics. The implications of this research provide insights for portfolio managers in designing investment strategies that are more adaptive to high market volatility.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business management strategies employed by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pungpungan Village, Bojonegoro, with the goal of enhancing their competitiveness in the market. Utilizing a qualitative research approach, the study investigates the key factors influencing the success of local MSMEs and the challenges they face in a competitive market environment. Data was gathered through in-depth interviews with MSME owners, direct field observations, and document analysis, which focused on local government policies for MSME development. The results show that effective business management strategies adopted by successful MSMEs include product innovation, the use of digital marketing platforms, and the enhancement of human resource capacity through training and mentorship programs. Additionally, support from local governments and business communities has been identified as a vital factor in improving MSMEs’ access to capital and wider markets. Despite these positive strategies, the study also highlights significant challenges such as technological constraints, low levels of financial literacy, and difficulties in establishing a broad distribution network. These obstacles hinder the optimal growth and competitiveness of MSMEs. The research concludes that collaboration among government, academic institutions, and business actors is essential in creating a supportive ecosystem that ensures the sustainable growth of MSMEs. The findings of this study offer valuable insights for policymakers and can serve as a reference for formulating strategic policies aimed at enhancing the development of MSMEs, especially in rural areas.
