Abstract

This research examines the utilization of productive zakat in increasing the income of business groups, especially in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises groups (UMKM) which are located and funded by the National Zakat Amil Agency (Baznas) and the Muhammadiyah Regency Amil Zakat Infaq and Sadaqah Institute(LAZISMU) To deepen the study, the researcher first took pictures of the model and impact of utilizing productive zakat on UMKM, secondly the researchers took pictures of the obstacles and solutions faced by Baznas and Lazismu in utilizing productive zakat. As data analysis material in this research, researchers used empowerment theory and needs theory. These two theories are combined in the study to explore the model and the impacts and obstacles faced by Baznas and Lazismu. Specifically, Gozali's theory of needs is used as an approach in Islamic Economics. Apart from theory, researchers also slice the data into rules or laws related to zakat management in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the method used is descriptive qualitative, data collection uses semi-structured interview techniques and document study. The research results show that the productive zakat utilization model in Baznas and Lazismu is structured and well planned, while the impact on mustahik or UMKM still needs to be evaluated in depth. Apart from that, the obstacles faced are the management of zakat/mustahik data which is not yet optimal, a shortage of personnel and a lack of understanding about zakat for personnel as well as a lack of zakat income/funds. Key words: Zakat, productive, needs, empowerment, UMKM, utilization

Abstract

Many communities still misconception the concept of Islamic economics. In fact, a significant portion of the Muslim population itself is somewhat unfamiliar with the terms associated with Islamic economics. The terms "Qaṣd" or "al-Iqtiṣâd," which form the basis for translating economics in Islam, remain a subject of debate among experts. The definition of "Qaṣd" or "al-Iqtiṣâd" serves as the foundation for the economic thought of scholars. The Islamic economic system is derived from the Qur'an, serving as the fundamental basis for Muslims. This research utilizes a qualitative descriptive approach, employing normative analysis and falling under the category of literature-based research. The study focuses on examining the fundamental meaning of economics in Islam and its correlation with contemporary economics. The results from data analysis and discussions indicate: 1) The meaning of "Qaṣd" or "al-Iqtiṣâd" in the Qur'an has four dimensions, namely simplicity, straightness, moderation (justice), and proximity (not too distant). 2) The concept of contemporary Islamic economics implies that the Islamic economic system is grounded in Sharia to construct the worldview of individuals, policies, and goals different from the dominating capitalist and sociological (communist) economic systems. 3) The correlation of the terms "Qaṣd" or "al-Iqtiṣâd" with contemporary economics is inherent in the Islamic economic system itself, which should ideally be ingrained in economic activities and be based on values or divine norms as the foundation for all aspects of life. When divine norms or values serve as the foundation, balance and prosperity in both the worldly and the hereafter can be achieved.

Abstract The aim of this research is to study how to apply the Marketing Mix Strategy to taqsith financing products at the Indonesian Syirkah Muslim Cooperation. We know that cooperative competition is very competitive. If you are a little careless, you will definitely be left behind by other cooperatives if you don't do something innovative. One of the factors that cooperatives can use to fight competition in increasing the number of customer members is by implementing a Marketing Mix Strategy which consists of 7Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, Physical Evidence). It is hoped that implementing a marketing mix strategy can increase KSMI Tulungagung members. The research method that the researcher used was a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation related to the research. The research results show that implementing the 7P marketing mix strategy can have an impact, namely increasing the number of customer members of the Tulungagung Indonesian Muslim Syirkah Cooperative.
