Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the TikTok application on the moral development of children aged 5-6 years at AL - IKHLAS Kindergarten, Kademangan District. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation analysis, interviews and documentation. The respondents in this study were three parents of students aged 5-6 years at TK AL – IKHLAS, Kademangan District. The research results show that the use of the social media platform TikTok has an important influence on children's moral development. Changes in behavior in early childhood caused by watching TikTok videos that involve deviations from the religious and moral values ​​taught at AL – IKHLAS Kindergarten, Kademangan District. Even though there are positive impacts such as increasing knowledge and increasing children's brain concentration, negative impacts also occur after watching videos on the TikTok application. Children easily imitate the style of adults on TikTok, use harsh language, and commit inappropriate actions as a result of watching TikTok content. This negative impact also spreads to learning activities at school. Therefore, it is important for parents to accompany their children when watching TikTok videos so that the videos their children watch can be directed towards watching positive videos. Abstract

The low cognitive abilities of children at RA Tarbiyatul Ihsan regarding color recognition are indicated by their inability to group colors and match objects according to color, count/number and show number symbols. This is caused by the lack of interest in the media used by teachers in learning. Therefore, researchers intend to improve children's cognitive abilities through the game Dice Dance and Bola Blast in group B RA Tarbiyatul Ihsan Sumberasih. This research used the Class Action Research (PTK) method which was conducted on group B, totaling 15 students in the first semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. This research was conducted from December 2023 to January 2024. Data collection techniques used tests, interviews and observation. Done in 2 cycles. Each cycle is held in 3 meetings. This research was preceded by a pre-cycle, with a percentage of 32%, cycle I experienced an increase with a percentage of 52% and cycle II experienced an increase of 78.66%. It was concluded based on research that the Dice Dance and Ball Blast games can improve the cognitive abilities of group B children to improve children's development in recognizing colors, grouping and matching objects according to color, counting/counting and showing number symbols. Abstract

This type of research uses descriptive research with a qualitative research approach. A qualitative research approach is a methodical approach that will focus more on a person's experiences or even problems that are unique or not the same individually. This research was conducted at RA. Raudlatul Ulum Tigasan Kulon Leces Probolinggo, in group B. The subjects in this study were 3 informants, including 1 group B teacher and 2 students' parents. Researchers used data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews and documentation. With the Big Book with the theme of Ani's honest and humble attitude at the RA educational institution. Raudlatul Ulum can add moral values to children who previously did not understand moral behavior. The use of Big Book media with the theme of Ani's honest and humble attitude is packaged according to the needs of RA children. Raudlatul Ulum which is in Tigasan Kulon village which does not yet have Big Book media to help in forming moral values in children. Keywords: Early Childhood, Moral Values, Big book

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore and elucidate the religious and ethical principles conveyed in the Upin Ipin season 5 episode titled "Ikhlas dari Hati," and to assess its influence on children's spiritual and moral growth. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing both primary and secondary data sources. Data gathering methods encompass observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involves content analysis, data scrutiny, and reconstruction. The findings reveal that "Ikhlas dari Hati" episode of Upin Ipin portrays various religious and moral values, including integrity, acceptance, kindness, charity, assistance, collaboration, discipline, and reverence. Interview outcomes further demonstrate that Upin Ipin episodes can positively impact children's character development, fostering behaviors such as treating others with kindness and respect, offering assistance, and instilling other constructive values. Furthermore, this influence extends beyond mere knowledge acquisition, also influencing children's language patterns in their daily interactions. This occurs as children tend to readily emulate what they observe and hear, swiftly integrating these behaviors into their everyday lives. Abstract

The role of parents in instilling religious values For early childhood it is very important because the parents are madrosatul ula. And how parents are instilling religious values to their children. This research method is a qualitative case study method. It was carried out at Dusun Caowan Rt 017 Rw 005 Kramatagung Village, from September 04-30 November 2023. With 10 research subjects. The research findings include the application of religious values to early childhood with the practice of inviting children to pray five times, teaching children how to respect older people, practicing fasting, learning children to speak polite and also teaching their children to read the Qur'an. Methods or methods taken by parents in applying religious value to children by direct example, advising or giving understanding, instilling love of God and His Apostle, inviting kids to religious activities, cultivation or practice and not forgetting the methods of prayer or anointing to God for their children. Abstract

The aims of this research is to improve the concept of recognizing numbers to children using appropriate and fun games. The dakon game is one of the traditional tools that can stimulate the development of the concept of number in early childhood. The game is designed according to the child's age development stage. The research was conducted at PAUD AL-FIRDAUS from May to June 2023.In the research, researchers used Classroom Action Research which is often known as Classroom Action Research. PTK research is carried out through stages 1.Planning 2.Implementation 3.Observation 4.Reflection. The subject of this research was group A which amounted to 23 children. Data collection techniques using observation sheets and documentation, The results of data analysis obtained an average number concept before pre-action of 21.7%. Cycle 1 meeting 1 amounted to 37.9%, meeting 2 amounted to 50% resulting in an average of 44.5% This indicates that this class action was not successful because the target exceeded 75%, .therefore the research was continued in cycle 2. In cycle 2 session 1 reached 77% session 2 reached 95% and an average of 85%. Based on the data analysis of Cycle 2 session 1 and 2, the anticipated goal was declared achieved. From the above statement, it is concluded that using the traditional dakon game media, the ability to recognize the concept of number has improved well.  Key words: Number concept; Dakon Traditional Game; Children aged 3-4 years

Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to delineate the language capabilities of children using storytelling techniques. The investigation is prompted by the widespread difficulty children face in achieving proficient language skills. Inadequate language teaching methods for children have resulted in diminished interest in their linguistic progress. To address this issue, effective learning models tailored to individual needs need to be implemented. This study employs a literature review approach, scrutinizing various sources such as books, articles, and journals. The results emphasize the effectiveness of storytelling in augmenting language development in children. Storytelling is not only effective in fostering enjoyment during listening sessions but also in facilitating children to narrate their own stories. This conclusion is corroborated by a comprehensive analysis of relevant research findings, highlighting storytelling as a crucial strategy for improving language skills in early childhood. Abstract

This investigation is motivated by the undesirable behavior of the children at RA Nurul Hikmah. The children exhibit rough behavior and frequently use inappropriate language towards their peers. The objective of this study is to enhance the moral values of the children in Group A at RA Nurul Hikmah Pondok Wuluh Leces through the use of the storytelling method. The research methodology employed in this study is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The study was conducted from November to December 2023, involving 15 children from Group A at RA Nurul Hikmah. The research consists of 2 cycles, with each cycle comprising 3 meetings. Each cycle involves four phases: 1) planning, 2) taking action, 3) observing activities, and 4) reflecting on observation results. Descriptive qualitative techniques were utilized for data collection. The results of the research indicate that the children's enthusiasm for learning can be enhanced through the use of the storytelling method. This is evidenced by the increased number of children able to identify right and wrong actions in each meeting, with a percentage increase from 60% in Cycle I to 80% in Cycle II. In conclusion, the moral values of students in Group A at RA Nurul Hikmah Pondok Wuluh Leces can be improved by implementing the storytelling method. Abstract

Early childhood education is very important for children's growth and development from an early age because during early childhood or what is called the golden age, 90% of your child's brain development is very good and is an important foundation to support your child's learning abilities. Playing is one way to increase children's potential at an early age. This research contradicts the increasing incidence of modern game addiction which is detrimental to children, because nowadays children like to play gadgets which can harm themselves, in contrast to the potential of traditional games which contribute to moral development. The safety of traditional games for young children is a focus because these games are an inseparable part of the nation's cultural wealth which contains benefits and moral values ​​such as honesty, patience, perseverance, responsibility and mutual respect for others. This research aims to strengthen the moral development of young children through the traditional game of hide and seek. Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of parenting styles on the morale of children aged 4-5 years in RA. Taruna Mulia, Probolinggo district. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Sources of data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The research was conducted at RA.Taruna Mulia, Gunung Tugel village, Probolinggo district in group A, totaling 17 children with a sample of 6 people. The sample was determined using purposive sampling to make this research more focused and easier. There are several types of parenting styles according to experts, especially Dictator, Lenient, and Popularity. Of these three types, scientists need to be aware of which parenting style is more dominant in the application of young people's ethics. After testing the direction, the analysts observed that there were only two types of parenting styles applied by the guardians, namely the Tyrant and Majority rule parenting styles. which is considered to have a great influence on children's morals. With this research, parents realize that proper parenting will form good morals. Keywords: Parenting patterns; morals; children aged 4-5 years
