Abstract

From the results of initial observations it is known that the receptive language skills of Group A children in Raudhatul Atfhal Miftahul Ulum Jatisari are still not developed. This is because the ability to read is still lacking. Lack of language in children causes children to be less active in telling stories, in terms of answering a question correctly when asked, and also not being able to retell a story that has been heard. Therefore, research was carried out by applying the media of picture story books to increase children's enthusiasm for reading and storytelling skills in children. In this study, the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method was used with a total of 15 students in group A, of which 6 male students and 9 female students. By using picture story media (bigbook) in improving the ability to tell stories in children. The results of the study state that bigbook media is very effective in learning in early childhood, and can improve children's storytelling skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak dalam mengenal bentuk-bentuk geometri melalui media balok warna. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Adapun subyek dalam penelitian ini yaitu anak Kelompok A2 TK ‘Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Kota Probolinggo yang terdiri dari 20 anak, 11 anak laki-laki dan 9 anak perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis evaluasi anak tentang peningkatan kemampuan kognitif mengenal bentuk geometri pada anak usia dini melalui aktivitas membuat bentuk dari balok warna dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak dalam mengenal bentuk-bentuk geometri. Hal tersebut dapat diketahui dari peningkatan persentase hasil belajar siswa dengan kriteria cukup baik 25%, kreiteria baik 70% dan sangat baik 5% pada siklus 1, dan meningkat menjadi kreiteria baik 45% dan sangat baik 55% pada siklus 2.

Abstract

Pandemi covid 19 yang melanda dunia tidak terkecuali Indonesia selama 2,5 tahun terakhir bepengaruh ke berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Sistem pembelajaran yang biasanya dilangsungkan offline secara tatap muka dialihkan menjadi pembelajaran online dengan kebijakan Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR). Kebijakan ini diterapkan kepada semua jenjang pendidikan mulai dari TK (Taman Kanak-kanak) hingga PT (Perguruan Tinggi). Kegiatan BDR ini tidak hanya melibatkan guru dan siswa saja, melainkan juga orang tua yang berperan sebagai guru pengganti di rumah. Peran orang tua dalam kegiatan   BDR ini sangat berpengaruh besar terhadap keberhasilan pembelajaran, di mana orang tua akan mendampingi serta memotivasi anak selama kegiatan. Apalagi untuk anak usia dini yang masih belum dapat menerima instruksi dengan jelas serta memerlukam pendampingan yang lebih. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dalam kegiata BDR anak usia dini selama masa pandemi covid 19 dalam berbagai studi yang meneliti tentang hal ini. Metode penilitan yang yang digunakan adalah studi literatur yang dilakukan melalui pencarian dan pengumpulan refrensi  dilanjutkan dengan menganalisisnya. Ada 20 studi terdahulu yang terkait dengan peran orang tua dalam kegiatan belajar dari rumah  anak usia dini selama pandemi covid 19. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dalam mendampingi anak usia selama kegiatan Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR) orang tua memiliki peran besar dalam memotivasi, memberi semangat, menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan serta pembagian waktu antar pekerjaan dan pengasuhan.

Abstract

In this study, using classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) the results of which are then outlined in the form of a description (descriptive) or learning research carried out by the teacher with the aim of solving the learning problems faced by the teacher in order to improve and enhance the quality and learning outcomes by trying new things. Researchers found that finger painting or finger painting is very effective for improving fine motor skills in children 2-4 years old, because with finger painting children can trace shapes, understand colors, and are able to give the appropriate color, or in other words, finger painting. this time is beneficial for the growth of children's fine motor skills with the advancement of technological developments that have a negative impact on children's growth, namely the decrease in their fine motor skills. So that researchers consider that research on this matter really needs to be done considering the crucial and so bad impact of technological advances on this decline encourages research "Application of Natural Material Finger Painting Activities to Improve Fine Motoric in Children Aged 2-4 Years at TPA Aisyiyah Probolinggo City" which the aim is to find out whether Finger Painting activities can improve children's fine motor skills and find out how much influence they have on development. In this study it can be said that finger painting activities can improve children's fine motor skills by up to 20% at each stage.

Abstract

Cognitive ability is one aspect that is very important to develop because children can think, understand, and explore the things that are around them. Through good cognitive abilities children can also solve all the problems they face, and it will be a provision for children as adults. One of the things that can be used to develop these abilities is through geometry media, where the media teaches various forms of basic patterns. Activities that can be done with geometry media include classifying, recognizing shapes, sizes, and patterns that can be applied in everyday life. This research uses the Literature Review method and is included in qualitative research, where researchers do not go to the field to collect data. The results showed: 1) Early childhood is a time when children are sensitive to various kinds of stimuli in their environment. High curiosity and developmental aspects that must be maximally improved need to be facilitated properly; 2) Children's cognitive abilities can be improved through the use of geometry media in classroom learning activities. Through a variety of games designed according to the needs of child development then cognitive abilities of children can develop well and maximally; 3) The use of geometry media in learning can develop children's cognitive abilities among them.

Abstract

By using collages made from used materials, this research seeks to help children at TK ABA III PROBOLINGGO CITY develop their fine motor skills. The research utilized in this study is based on classroom action (PTK). This study was conducted in two parts. with three sessions in each cycle. Twelve children, seven of them girls and five boys, aged four to five years, were the subjects of the study. Documentation and observation techniques were used in data collection. Research findings show that children aged 4 to 5 years benefit from collage activities that reuse materials, as seen by the children's progress from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the perceptions of PIAUD undergraduate students regarding the new paradigm of an independent curriculum at the Early Childhood Education level. Data collection used an open questionnaire using purposive sampling techniques. The Method uses a descriptive qualitative with a case study. The location used is in the Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program (PIAUD) Muhammadiyah Probolinggo Islamic College. The research subjects were all students of the 4th semester Islamic Early Childhood Education study program, totaling 19 people who took the Early Childhood Learning Design course. The result shows that the content and structure of the independent curriculum are substantively more simple and deeper, because it is focuses on the self-development of students, students have diverse opinions regarding the independent curriculum where in learning the Independent curriculum students are trained to express opinions with more critical, creative, and motivated in solving every learning challenge they face,  and teachers are required to be more creative in determining and designing learning activities by adjusting the conditions and needs of each class.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore and elucidate the religious and ethical principles conveyed in the Upin Ipin season 5 episode titled "Ikhlas dari Hati," and to assess its influence on children's spiritual and moral growth. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing both primary and secondary data sources. Data gathering methods encompass observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involves content analysis, data scrutiny, and reconstruction. The findings reveal that "Ikhlas dari Hati" episode of Upin Ipin portrays various religious and moral values, including integrity, acceptance, kindness, charity, assistance, collaboration, discipline, and reverence. Interview outcomes further demonstrate that Upin Ipin episodes can positively impact children's character development, fostering behaviors such as treating others with kindness and respect, offering assistance, and instilling other constructive values. Furthermore, this influence extends beyond mere knowledge acquisition, also influencing children's language patterns in their daily interactions. This occurs as children tend to readily emulate what they observe and hear, swiftly integrating these behaviors into their everyday lives. Abstract

The aims of this research is to improve the concept of recognizing numbers to children using appropriate and fun games. The dakon game is one of the traditional tools that can stimulate the development of the concept of number in early childhood. The game is designed according to the child's age development stage. The research was conducted at PAUD AL-FIRDAUS from May to June 2023.In the research, researchers used Classroom Action Research which is often known as Classroom Action Research. PTK research is carried out through stages 1.Planning 2.Implementation 3.Observation 4.Reflection. The subject of this research was group A which amounted to 23 children. Data collection techniques using observation sheets and documentation, The results of data analysis obtained an average number concept before pre-action of 21.7%. Cycle 1 meeting 1 amounted to 37.9%, meeting 2 amounted to 50% resulting in an average of 44.5% This indicates that this class action was not successful because the target exceeded 75%, .therefore the research was continued in cycle 2. In cycle 2 session 1 reached 77% session 2 reached 95% and an average of 85%. Based on the data analysis of Cycle 2 session 1 and 2, the anticipated goal was declared achieved. From the above statement, it is concluded that using the traditional dakon game media, the ability to recognize the concept of number has improved well.  Key words: Number concept; Dakon Traditional Game; Children aged 3-4 years

Abstract

This investigation is motivated by the undesirable behavior of the children at RA Nurul Hikmah. The children exhibit rough behavior and frequently use inappropriate language towards their peers. The objective of this study is to enhance the moral values of the children in Group A at RA Nurul Hikmah Pondok Wuluh Leces through the use of the storytelling method. The research methodology employed in this study is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The study was conducted from November to December 2023, involving 15 children from Group A at RA Nurul Hikmah. The research consists of 2 cycles, with each cycle comprising 3 meetings. Each cycle involves four phases: 1) planning, 2) taking action, 3) observing activities, and 4) reflecting on observation results. Descriptive qualitative techniques were utilized for data collection. The results of the research indicate that the children's enthusiasm for learning can be enhanced through the use of the storytelling method. This is evidenced by the increased number of children able to identify right and wrong actions in each meeting, with a percentage increase from 60% in Cycle I to 80% in Cycle II. In conclusion, the moral values of students in Group A at RA Nurul Hikmah Pondok Wuluh Leces can be improved by implementing the storytelling method.
