Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out the magnitude of the influence of work engagement on turnover intention, mediated by job satisfaction. Respondents were 82 Bakti Timah Medika nurses selected through convenience sampling. The research design is quantitative with a data analysis method in the form of SEM-PLS. The research results found that work engagement had no direct effect on turnover intention. Work engagement will have a negative effect on turnover intention if it is mediated by job satisfaction. Job satisfaction fully mediates the negative influence of work engagement on turnover intention. Future research can use work stress as mediator variables. This research contributes to nursing practice regarding turnover intention through increasing job satisfaction and work engagement.

Abstract

This study explores the complex world of gender dynamics in global politics with the goal of empowering different viewpoints and promoting inclusive government. The introduction outlines the growing importance of gender issues in international relations and emphasizes the necessity for a thorough understanding of how they intersect with other social identities. The study's dual goals are to first investigate how gender affects political involvement and representation while taking into account how race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation interact with gender experiences. Second, to examine how gender-sensitive policies affect international efforts at development, peacekeeping, and conflict resolution. A mixed-methods strategy is used, including research using qualitative data. Findings highlight the complex ways in which gender influences international politics' power structures, decision-making procedures, and access to opportunities. The report also highlights the significance of comprehensive gender-sensitive policy and points out shortcomings in addressing intersecting identities. In order to establish a more inclusive and equitable international political scene, more research and action are required, as this study emphasizes the significance of advancing gender equity in global governance.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the sales of car seats during the 0% PPnBM policy for the period March to December 2021 and to find out the sales of car seats before the 0% PPnBM policy for the period March to December 2020 and to find out the comparison of sales from of PT. when PPnBM was 0% for the period March to December 2021 and before the PPnBM policy was 0% for the period March to December 2020 at PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia. This research method uses documentation techniques in data collection. In documentation techniques, documents are records of past events, which can be in the form of writing, drawings or works. The data used by the author in this research is seat sales data (documentation) which data was obtained from the logistics division regarding car seat sales at PT. X. And using validity tests and descriptive statistics. The results of data processing obtained in a descriptive statistical manner are that there was a very good increase in sales of car seats when the PPnBM policy was 0% and the results of hypothesis testing using the t-difference test were that there was a significant difference in sales when the PPnBM policy was 0%. So it can be concluded that there is an average difference between car seat sales when PPnBM was 0% and car seat sales before PPnBM was 0%, which means there was an increase in car seat sales when the PPnBM policy was 0%.

Abstract

The ‘Big One’ earthquake has been predicted to occur in the Philippines at any time.  Manila has been forecast to experience a 7.2-magnitude earthquake that would result in several fatalities. The country has developed its management structures at the local, provincial and international levels.  However, questions have been asked on whether these measures are enough to show readiness for ‘The Big One’ earthquake. Literature reveals that a long-term planning and clear cut resource mobilization for disaster management is still lacking. Policies have also failed to spell out what is required of the marginalized, civil society   and   relevant institutions. The review extends with a tabulation of possible theoretical and conceptual lenses to guide the study.

Abstract

Abstract: Unruly passenger behavior poses a significant challenge to the airline industry, affecting safety, security, and customer satisfaction. Ground staff play a crucial role in managing these behaviors, and their perceived competence is pivotal in shaping passengers' overall experiences. Passengers' perception of ground staff competence depends on factors such as staff knowledge of airline policies, de-escalation techniques, and their projection of confidence in handling unruly passengers. Airlines have an opportunity to enhance ground staff competence through comprehensive training, clear policies, and a culture of support and teamwork. The study aims to assess and describe the perceived competence of ground staff in dealing with unruly passenger behavior at Manila International Airport Authority airports. A quantitative research design used a survey as the primary data collection method. Stratified and convenience sampling methods were combined to select 1,475 respondents, representing a diverse sample. Data was analyzed using mean scores, standard deviation, and variance to assess the perceived competence of ground staff. The data suggests that ground staff generally exhibit competence in dealing with unruly passenger behavior. However, competence may vary in specific situations, such as when passengers exploit minor anomalies or use their social status for additional services. Overall, ground staff are perceived as competent, particularly in handling passengers displaying potentially violent tendencies. The findings of this study reveal that ground staff at Manila International Airport Authority airports are generally perceived as competent in handling unruly passenger behavior. While competence may vary in specific situations, such as when passengers exploit minor anomalies, overall, ground staff are well-equipped to ensure passenger safety and a smooth travel experience. The study highlights the importance of ongoing investment in staff training and resources to improve the competence of ground staff in addressing unruly passenger behavior, ultimately contributing to passenger satisfaction and safety.
