Abstract

This research is motivated by the uniqueeness found when reading the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening, including this novel that creates a story to build faith in the soul, and this novel is very strong with the motivation of the younger generation to achietive success. The purpose of this research is to describe: 1) The contents of parts of Islamic mental education in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy; 2) The method of disclosing Islamic mental education messages in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman ElShirazy; and 3) Islamic mental education values in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of library research. The data source used in this research is the text in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening, then the data collection tecnique used document analysis. The data analysis tecnique used is content analysis. Based on the analysis carried out, the results of this study are: (1) The contents of parts of Islamic mental education in Habiburrahman El Shirazy’s novel Bidadari Bermata Bening are upholding Islamic law, upholoding justice, teaching humality, rejecting religious beliefs, upholding Islamic teachings in marriage, trading according to Islamic teachings, rejecting capitalist arrogance, being careful in choosing friends, and being patient in upholding Islamic teachings; (2) The method of disclosing Islamic mental education messeges in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, which is conveyed through dialogue, prologue, monologue, character responses, and character descriptions; (3) The values of Islamic mental education in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, namely being obedient to worship, firm, not giving up anger, courage, patience, care, and keep promises.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about: 1) The strategy of the teacher to use the means in class management to increase the learning motivation of class V students in the subject of aqidah akhlak in MIS Tarbiyah Tebas in the 2019-2020 school year; 2) The steps of the teacher in class management to increase the learning motivation of grade V students in the subject of aqidah akhlak at MIS Tarbiyah Tebas in the 2019-2020 academic year. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. The subjects of this study were the MIS Tarbiyah Tebas moral aqidah teachers and fifth grade students at MIS Tarbiyah Tebas. The technique of collecting data using interview, observation and documentation methods. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis. In this study, researchers used two data validity checking techniques, namely: 1) Triangulation Technique, 2) Member Check Technique. The results of the study can be concluded that: 1) The strategy of the teacher using the facilities in class management to increase the learning motivation of class V students in the subject of aqidah akhlak in MIS Tarbiyah Tebas in the 2019-2020 academic year, namely: a) the management of classrooms, classrooms is adequate; b) the seating arrangement is varied; c) learning methods: using appropriate and varied methods, for example the lecture method, the question and answer method and the training method; d) use of media: using appropriate media and in accordance with the material presented, utilizing the environment, teacher's books, student worksheets (LKS), image media; e) a good pattern of interaction so as to create a harmonious relationship between teachers and students. 2) The steps of the teacher in class management to increase the learning motivation of grade V students in the subject of aqidah akhlak at MIS Tarbiyah Tebas in the 2019-2020 school year, while the steps are taken, namely: a) planning which consists of compiling learning tools (programs annual, semester program, educational calendar, syllabus and lesson plans). b) implementation of classroom management to increase student learning motivation: creating a conducive classroom climate/ atmosphere, opening lessons, evaluating learning.

Abstract

The concept of character education in Hamka's perspective has the notion of forming a mind based on thoughts and syara', as well as making role models as good examples of character. Its purpose is as accommodation or a means of improving oneself and maintaining character. There are three aspects that need to be seen in the concept of character education from Hamka's perspective: 1) The aspect of morality, having a will in a good and virtuous way. 2) Religious aspects, increasing faith and achieving the mind of the Qur'an. 3) Psychological aspects, able to process and utilize emotions to do good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal about: 1) the methods used by teachers in learning Islamic Religious Education for mentally retarded students at the Sambas State Special School in 2019/2020; 2) The evaluation used by teachers in learning Islamic Religious Education for mentally retarded students at the Sambas State Special School in 2019/2020. This study uses a qualitative approach and the type of descriptive research. Data collection techniques using direct observation techniques, structured interviews, and documentation using cellphones and notebooks as collection tools. The results of the study can be concluded that: 1. The methods used in PAI learning for mentally retarded students at the Sambas State Special School are: a) the lecture method is used in the learning process; b) Demonstration method when giving examples of movement in prayer material; c) The teacher uses the question and answer method at the end of the lesson to see the students' ability to absorb the material presented. The evaluations used in PAI learning for mentally retarded students at the Sambas State Special School are: The teacher provides an evaluation of learning to mentally retarded students when students practice prayer movements, immediately provides an assessment in the form of practice.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the understanding of the cleric's efforts in improving the ability to read the Qur'an at the Akhlak Noble Qur'an House, then the supporting and inhibiting factors faced by the Noble Qur'an Akhlak House in Improving the Ability to Read the Qur'an, Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis collection techniques used are data collection techniques, data analysis techniques, data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions. The results of the research carried out showed that: 1) The efforts of Akhlaq Mulia Qur'an House in improving the ability to read the Qur'an by introducing the Qur'an to early childhood by introducing students through memorizing the Qur'an, memorizing together, teach iqra' first and then proceed to reading juz, teach short suras, daily prayers, provide motivation about rewards and rewards for readers and memorizers of the Qur'an and use various methods such as learning methods Iqra and murajaah: 2) Supporting factors in efforts to improve the ability to read the Qur'an are high interest in learning, motivation from educators and exemplary traits reflected by educators. While the inhibiting factors are students who are difficult to manage, discipline, the negative influence of the environment and the negative influence of information technology such as gadgets and game applications, as well as the methods used by educators in teaching the Qur'an.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative approach and the type of descriptive research. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The techniques used are: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. 1) The results of the study show that: The role of parents in moral development through habituation applied by parents is to provide examples, invite teenagers and directly practice good behavior for teenagers and always give advice when teenagers make mistakes 2) The results of the application of the habituation method by parents in the formation of adolescent morals are that parents successfully apply the habituation method in fostering adolescent morals.

Abstract

The lack of application of character education has a major influence on the progress of the quality of education. Education focuses more on cognitive aspects, even though character aspects are also very important to develop. The curriculum center, the Ministry of National Education has formulated character education materials that need to be developed, namely there are 18 character values. In the novel Laskar Pelangi is a literary work that contains a lot of character education values. The purposes of this research is to reveal about the value of character education and characteristics of Lintang in Laskar Pelangi Novel by Andrea Hirata. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with the type of research library research (library research). Data collection techniques using document analysis. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The results of the study contained 18 values of character education in the novel Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata, namely: religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, love for the homeland, respect for achievement, friendly or communicative, love peace, love to read, care for the environment, care about social, and responsibility very. There are 7 characteristics of latitude in the novel Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata, namely: discipline, hard work, creative, independent, curiosity, love for the homeland, and love to read.

Abstract

Values are very influential on a person’s behavior. Many people e still assume that the establishment of a pesantren is only for naughty childreen, even though the pesantren was established to shape the spiritual mentality of students in all fields. This research was conducted on some of the uniqueness found in the novel Cahaya Cinta Pesantren by Ira Madan, including the novel which is written in light and easy to understand language, providing inspiration and motivation to the readers. In this novel, there are many messages of Islamic education in Islamic boarding schools. Based on this uniqueness, researchers are interested in making the novel Cahaya Cinta Pesantren by Ira Madan as the object of researchers with the title “The Values of Islamic Education in Islamic Boarding Schools in the Novel Cahaya Cinta Pesantren by Ira Madan”. This type of researcher is a library research researcher with a qualitative approach. Data analysis techniques using content analysis or content analysis. That is drawing conclusions are obtained: first, the themes contained in the novel Cahaya Cinta Pesantren by Ira Madan is about Islamic teachings in Islamic boarding schools. Second, the values of Islamic education in pesantren in the novel Cahaya Cinta Pesantren by Ira Madan are: (a) The value of the soul of sincerity when undergoing trials, teaching, and learning; (b) the value of the spirit of simplicity in appearance and dress; (c) the value of the spirit of independence in all things without expecting help from others; (d) the value of the spirit of ukhuwah Islamiyah by always establishing a close relationship of brotherhood by not dicriminating in all respects; (e) the value of freedom in determining the future, thinking and having opinions.

Abstract

This journal explains: 1) The love of parents for their children as class IV students of MIS At-Taqwa Sambas for the 2019-2020 Academic Year. 2) The religious character of the fourth grade students of MIS At-Taqwa Sambas for the 2019-2020 academic year. 3) There is the possibility of a significant effect of parental love on the religious character of the fourth grade students of MIS At-Taqwa Sambas for the 2019-2020 academic year. The type and research approach used is a quantitative research type and an associative approach. The population in this study amounted to 44 people. Data collection tools using questionnaires, documentation. The previous questionnaire was tried out and tested for validity and reliability testing. The data analysis technique used Percentage Calculation, Central Tendency and Simple Linear Regression. The results of this study can be concluded as follows: 1) Parents' affection for their children as fourth grade students of MIS At-Taqwa Sambas, is already classified as "very good", namely with a percentage of 90.6%. 2) The religious character of the fourth grade students of MIS At-Taqwa Sambas, is classified as "very good" with a percentage of 92,5%. There is a significant influence between parental affection on the religious character of fourth grade students Mis At-Taqwa Sambas in the 2019-2020 school year. This can be seen from the relationship between the two variables with a correlation value of 0.411 which lies between 0.400-0.599 which is included in the medium category, with a significant level of 0.016 <0.05, thus (Ha) is accepted and (H0) is rejected. Judging from the results of the calculation that the results a of 50.239 and b obtained 0.467 are found, then the regression equation for parental love and religious character is: Y = 50.239 + 0.467X. From the above equation it means that every one-unit increase in the X variable will be followed by an increase in the Y variable by 0.467 units at a price a = constant. In other words, the magnitude of the influence of variable X on the increase in variable Y is 0.467.

Abstract

The study was conducted because it saw the phenomenon of the morals of commendable children who were not guided, therefore parents played a role in familiarizing children with commendable character. This research aims to; (1) Describe the planning of the role of parents in fostering children's morals in Lumbang Village, Sambas District in 2020. (2) Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of parents' efforts to foster children's morals in Lumbang Village, Sambas District in 2020. Sources of data in this study are parents who provide guidance to children and children who receive guidance from parents in Lumbang Village. The approach taken to answer the problem in this research is qualitative, with a descriptive method. To find data related to the focus and objectives of the study, the researcher chose the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. To arrive at the conclusion of the data analysis that researchers used after data collection consisted of: data reduction, data display, verification and conclusion drawing. Meanwhile, to check the validity of the data, continuous observation, data triangulation and member check were used. The results of the study can be concluded, namely: 1) Planning for parental efforts in using habituation methods to foster children's morals in Lumbang Village, Sambas District in 2020 is carried out by giving advice to children to orderly worship five times accompanied by habituation and example from parents. Carry out congregational prayers, dhikr, pray every time you do something, get used to memorizing several prayers in life, habituation of cleanliness by checking children's clothes, nails and bodies, getting used to reading the Qur'an by memorizing short letters to children , giving punishment for breaking the rules or doing something wrong, giving love to children. 2) Factors supporting and inhibiting parents' efforts in using habituation methods to foster children's morals in Lumbang Village, Sambas District in 2020: Supporting factors, namely; good family conditions at home, good environment, high parental attention to children. A quiet and conducive environment. Inhibiting factors are: lack of parental knowledge about Islam, poor social environment, limited time with children, lack of parental attention to children, technological advances that affect children.
