Abstract

This study aims to assess the level of empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Waru and Tapin districts by the Dharma Bakti Astra Foundation (YDBA). The research method used is descriptive qualitative by means of literacy and analysis of a related buku entitled Rantai Tak Putus. The main topic of discussion is about the 5R guidelines (Concise, Neat, Clean, Careful and Diligent) developed for the empowerment of MSME actors. The result of the discussion is that the empowerment program by Yayasan Dharma Bakti Astra is carried out by looking at the aspects of resources, production, and marketing. This has proven to be effective in controlling the activities of MSMEs provided by the Dharma Bakti Astra Foundation.

Abstract

Licensing is a form of granting permission/legality to everyone, whether to carry out business or non-business activities. Licensing is useful for controlling, regulating so that activities carried out by the community do not interfere with the comfort of the surrounding environment, so that relationships are created within the community. This study aims to determine how licensing affects the services of the Natal District Head office located in the district. Christmas Mandailing. The method in this study uses a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that the effect of licensing on the services of the Natal District Head office has had a good impact. However, there are several things that need to be improved or improved such as communication in granting permits, ethics in granting permits to the public.

Abstract

The crude oil refining process supervised by the Indonesian government produces BBM (Fuel Oil). The increase in crude oil (BBM) prices caused by rising crude oil prices around the world as well as fluctuations in foreign exchange rates is a major problem. The complexity of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is increasing, impacting energy prices and the world economy, including Indonesia. To respond to this, the government increased fuel subsidies. However, there are questions about how effective the policy will be. The impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict on fuel availability in Indonesia is analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. Indonesia must consider the impact, even if it is not directly involved. Russian fuel imports increased significantly in 2021, but fell in 2022. In Russia, the conflict caused energy supply problems and fluctuations in energy prices around the world. Due to US threats against fuel imports from Russia, complexity increases, and Indonesia must choose between providing further subsidies or raising fuel prices to maintain stability. Although Indonesia's commodity exports increased, the conflict affected oil imports and crude oil prices, causing crude oil prices to rise domestically.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of training and creativity on the business development of CV Sita Convection Screen Printing and Embroidery in Jelutung, Jambi City. The research employs a quantitative approach. The number of samples in this study consists of 31 workers from CV Sita Convection, and the technique used is nonprobability sampling, specifically saturated sampling. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that training has a positive and significant impact on business development, while creativity does not have a significant effect on business development. Based on the data analysis in this study, the regression value for the training variable is 0,823, while the regression value for the creativity variable is 0,092. The analysis shows that both variables significantly contribute to business development, with the total contribution of the training and creativity variables amounting to 30% of the observed variability in this study.

Abstract

The development of globalization has caused a hindrance in the loading and unloading process of export and import goods, necessitating an improvement to reduce or overcome the challenges faced. The research in this journal employs a literature review involving analyses of journals and articles related to obstacles in the loading and unloading process of export-import activities at Tanjung Priok Port. This research is conducted by searching through various journal and article databases. It is an effort to identify obstacles in the loading and unloading process of goods in export-import activities at Tanjung Priok Port. Tanjung Priok Port remains a gateway to the national economy to date. However, besides that, the port also encounters various obstacles. Some obstacles occur primarily due to the low capabilities of human resources and the inefficient tools used in loading and unloading activities. This obstacle needs improvement, both in terms of human resources and facilities. Adequate facilities and qualified human resources can contribute positively to the smooth operation of activities at Tanjung Priok Port, especially in loading and unloading activities.

Abstract

The purpose of writing is to determine the development of Indonesia's foreign debt from 2019 to 2023. The method applied in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative descriptive research type, which utilizes a literature study approach. The data source used in this research is secondary data. Discussion Results: the development of Indonesia's foreign debt shows a fluctuating trend, with special attention in 2020 Indonesia's foreign debt increased, this was triggered by spending for handling the Covid-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, Indonesia's debt ratio is still within safe limits and the structure of Indonesia's foreign debt is still considered healthy, although several studies show that the relationship between the debt/GDP ratio is an early indicator of a bad economy. Therefore, joint synergy is needed in efforts to strengthen coordination between Bank Indonesia and the government sustainably to minimize risks that could affect economic stability.

Tujuan dari pemenelitian ini adalah melihat seberapa efektifnya penggantian penerapan masuknya toll yang dulunya menggunakan uang kertas diganti dengan menggunakan kartu elektronik.Tujuannya diganti system pembayaran toll menggunakan kartu elektronik agar lalu lintas menjadi makmur, efektif, dan efesien.Sistem kartu elektronik yang telah diluncurkan merupakan contohnya. Sistem tol mencakup berbagai tugas yang berkaitan dengan transaksi tol, seperti pelayanan pengguna jalan, pengendalian pelaksanaan transaksi, pengelolaan pendapatan tol, dan proses pendukung lainnya. Abstract

This research discusses the role of housewives in helping the household's financial needs through online sales. In this digital era, selling online has become a side business option that is much sought after by housewives. Selling online can be done anytime and anywhere, therefore housewives can use their free time to sell online. Online sales can also reach a wider market, and online sales can be a source of additional income, income from online sales can be used to meet family needs, such as children's education costs, health costs, or other costs. This research uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. This approach is one of five approaches in qualitative research and uses liberal feminist theory. The research results show that this can improve family welfare and make housewives more independent and capable family members, thus selling online has become a way for housewives to help family finances, especially in facing economic challenges

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of risks at Bank Syariah Indonesia. Under these conditions, the Bank evaluates and strengthens risk management tools to maintain business quality and the bank's health level. One component of operational risk is the efficiency ratio or what is called the Operational Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) ratio. The aim of this research is to examine in depth the implementation of operational risk management at BSI which can influence the BOPO ratio at BSI. This research uses a qualitative research approach. The data in this research uses secondary data or literature study. Secondary data obtained came from the official BSI website, books, journals and articles related to research. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model of qualitative data analysis techniques. The result of this research is that operational risk management at BSI has been implemented effectively. This is proven by the BSI BOPO ratio from 2021 continuing to decline.
