Abstract

Contamination on the transformer oil can lead to the oil failure of the transformator. Therefore, the transformer oil needs to be tested to make sure the oil is still in good condition. To find indications of oil failure the transformator needs to be tested DGA and BDV. From the results of the analysis with the TDCG method, the gas content in the transformer oil is less than 720 ppm so according to the IEEE standard, the oil transformer is indicated in normal conditions. In the Key Gas method, the percentage of the dominant carbon monoxide gas content is in the range of 85-90% so it is indicated that heating occurs on paper insulation. In the Duval Triangle method, the cut point between methane gas, ethylene and acetylene is in zone 1 and zone 2 so indicated that the oil of the transformator has thermal interference. In the BDV test, the transformer oil resistance values of 40.43 kV and 38.98 kV were obtained according to the IEC oil standard indicated in normal conditions. Of the four methods used to analyze the condition of the oil transformers concluded the oil of the transformers in a good condition but indicated heating.

Abstract

Optical fiber is a transmission medium that allows it to meet human needs to be able to transfer data faster because it uses light as a conductor. There is a damping problem in optical fiber, it needs to be accommodated so as to minimize the occurrence of attenuation in optical fiber. With this research, it can be known the magnitude of the value of a fiber optic transmission attenuation through the method of measuring attenuation values and receiving power at the customer's home   using OPM, identifying fiber optic channel attenuation that affects the quality of internet services, and knowing the comparison of OPM measurement results with OT data reading. This study uses an analytical descriptive approach where the research will describe what it is about a variable that is processed, as well as the symptoms and conditions to be identified. So the results of the study can be obtained, namely, the amount of attenuation measured in the customer's home is influenced by the attenuation measured in ODP. Attenuation at ODP is small with an average optical power value of -18.39 dB, this makes attenuation in customers' homes, namely ONT, tend to be smaller with an average optical power value of -20.04 dB. There is an additional value   of -1.65   dB per transmission. So it is known that the longer the cable used for fiber optic transmission, the greater the attenuation produced so that the optical power emitted by the sender will weaken along with the length of the cable. This is what will affect the quality of internet services.

Abstract

In the field of energy, the sun is a large amount of energy and is still little utilized. Solar panels are a tool for utilizing solar energy into electrical energy. The average installation of solar panels is still static/fixed. Static solar panels cause the reception of sunlight energy to be less than optimal. To maximize the energy of sunlight, this solar panel is made dynamic or moved following the direction of sunlight. The monitoring process will be carried out based on the Internet of Things where the parameters to be measured are the value of voltage, current, power, solar panel temperature, and solar irradiation which will appear on the Blynk application via smartphone. Tests were conducted to determine the characteristics of the parameters measured between static solar panels and dynamic solar panels for 7 days. The maximum power value obtained by dynamic solar panels is better than the maximum power obtained by static solar panels, the largest average test value for 7 days from solar panels obtained a power value of 8.54 Watts and on static solar panels obtained a power value of 7.03 Watts. The position of the solar panel towards the sun, environmental conditions, weather conditions affect the value of the measured parameters.
