Abstract

This research was based on the phenomenon problem of motivation to learn experienced by students of SMA Hang Tuah 2 Sidoarjo. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-regulation learning and learning motivation in students of Sma Hang Tuah 2 Sidoarjo. This research is included in the type of quantitative research with a correlational approach. This research was conducted at SMA Hang Tuah 2 Sidoarjo, East Java. The population in this study was 400 students, so from calculations using the Krejcie Morgan formula, the sample used 196 students taken using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection in this study used two psychological scales, namely the self-regulated learning scale from the aspect of self-regulated learning developed by Dewi (2019) and obtained a reliability coefficient value of (α) 0.939 and a learning motivation scale from the aspect of learning motivation developed by Santiarini (2020) and a reliability coefficient value of (α) 0.835 was obtained. Data analysis in this study using Spearman's Correlations and this analysis process used the help of the JASP program version 0.14.0.0 for windows. The results of the study obtained a value of r = 0.538 and a p value = 0.001 where 0.001 < 0.05 which means that there is a positive relationship between self regulated learning variables and academic procrastination in students of SMA Hang Tuah 2 Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning process of maharah kalam students as well as to determine the planning, implementation and evaluation of learning maharah kalam as well as analyzing the supporting and inhibiting factors in learning maharah kalam for 7th grade students at SMPIT Al Bashiroh Boarding School Turen Malang. In this study, the method used to support the smoothness of the researcher is to use descriptive qualitative methods. Obtaining research data to be analyzed in the form of observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the study indicate that the Maharah Kalam lesson plan is in the form of an annual program, syllabus and lesson plan. The implementation of maharah kalam learning activities went quite well, while the evaluation carried out in the form of reporting and follow-up, but the exam for maharah kalam was only held in class IX. While the results of research regarding the supporting factors are the enthusiasm of students to learn and get used to maharah kalam and the existence of a dictionary in the library to support learning maharah kalam students, for the inhibiting factors are aspects of difficulty in mastering vocabulary in Arabic, individual abilities, learning methods and aspects infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the teaching game team learning model strategy on students' speaking skills in learning Arabic, this type of research is classroom action research, the data is analyzed qualitatively. Observations were made on 20 students who previously analyzed the condition of students' abilities in learning abilities in the classroom. The results of the study showed that the application of the teaching game team type learning model could improve students' understanding of students' morals as seen from 100% completeness in 2 learning cycles. So, it can be concluded that there is influence from the application of the teaching game team cooperative model to increase students' maharah kalam.

Abstract

This research is aimed to analyze how is the teacher’ implementation in the use of the Top-Down and Bottom-Up in teaching Listening comprehension. The location where the researcher taken place were at MTS Ma’arif Ketegan Tanggulangin, the research subject was the English teacher of the third-grade students who taught 3 classes. In addition, the research method of qualitative descriptive was used in this research by doing class observation and interview. The results of this research were shown that Song by Maher Zain was using as the teaching media. Furthermore, in applying the Top-down strategy, the English teacher used several implementations such as: design a discourse schema, use key terms, Infer the text's environment, Infer the participants' roles and objectives, make inferences about causes and effects, and Prepare for questions about the topic or scenario. Meanwhile for the Bottom-up strategies. First, the teacher taught the vocabulary that will be utilized in the listening activities. Then, all students were given a sheet to do the exercise. Finally, the English Teacher played the audio, and the students had to complete the activity based on what they had heard.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on observations that had been made to children in the Playgroup at KB Dharma Wanita Persatuan Kebaron related to social skills in children who still needed stimulation to build their social development. Social skills are very important in the life of early childhood because with social skills children can interact, communicate and socialize with peers and other people around them. From these problems, we need an improvement that can improve a child's social development ability. Children need activities that are very interesting and fun and are activities that are not often done, one of which is role playing. Based on research at KB Dharma Wanita Persatuan Kebaron at the age of 3-4 years, there are 80% of children who are less able to socialize. Due to the lack of this, the researchers used macro role-playing activities to improve children's social skills. The researcher uses classroom action research as one of the research methods to get the expected results. The research was carried out in 2 cycles. One of the actions carried out in a planned and never done before. In the first cycle the percentage value is 70% which means that it has not met the planned target. The researcher continued to provide action in cycle II. After the second cycle of research, the percentage of the average score of children became 85%, so that the average value of the first and second cycles increased. From the results obtained, there is an increase which proves that this research is successful with Macro Role Playing activities that can increase according to the target set by the researcher in social skills.
