Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital social proof represented through online customer reviews and online customer ratings on the purchase intention of skincare products on TikTok Shop among Generation Z in Bandar Lampung City. TikTok Shop as a social commerce platform has transformed consumer shopping behavior, especially Generation Z who are known as digital natives and heavily rely on digital social validation in purchasing decisions. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through distributing online questionnaires to 100 Generation Z respondents in Bandar Lampung City who have accessed or shopped for skincare products on TikTok Shop. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with certain criteria. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25.0. The results showed that online customer reviews have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, online customer ratings have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, and simultaneously online customer reviews and online customer ratings have a significant effect on purchase intention of skincare products on TikTok Shop among Generation Z with a contribution of 58.7%. This study provides a theoretical contribution to the development of consumer behavior theory in the social commerce era as well as practical implications for businesses in managing reviews and ratings as strategic digital assets to build consumer trust.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengthening of business capital on the performance of Sharia-based MSMEs in Sukarame District, Bandar Lampung City with financial management as a mediating variable from the Islamic business perspective. Sharia-based MSMEs have a strategic role in the Indonesian economy, but still face various obstacles such as capital limitations and low sharia financial literacy. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through distributing questionnaires to 80 Sharia-based MSME actors in Sukarame District. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the criteria of MSMEs that have been operating for at least one year and implementing sharia principles. Data analysis was performed using path analysis with SPSS version 25.0. The results showed that business capital has a positive and significant effect on MSME performance, business capital has a positive and significant effect on financial management, financial management has a positive and significant effect on MSME performance, and financial management is able to mediate the effect of business capital on MSME performance. This study provides a theoretical contribution to the development of sharia business management and practical implications for MSME actors, the government, and sharia financial institutions in improving the performance of Sharia-based MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the Baitul Makmur Islamic Boarding School's business unit in improving the Sharia financial literacy of students and the community. The research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive field approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the foundation chairman, canteen keepers, students, and surrounding community members. The results show that the canteen business unit plays a role in instilling Islamic economic values, such as honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, and the principles of halal and thayyib in buying and selling activities. Students' involvement in canteen management also enhances their understanding of simple financial management. Despite facing constraints such as limited capital and business management, the canteen remains a means of learning Sharia financial literacy within the pesantren environment.
