<![CDATA[Indonesia's educational system is currently undergoing a significant transformation with the introduction of the "Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar," or Curriculum Freedom of Learning. This shift aims to provide students with a more comprehensive and learner-centered educational experience. As teachers play a pivotal role in this process, it is crucial to understand their perspectives, concerns, and objectives regarding the ongoing curriculum changes. This article presents the findings of a study that delves into the viewpoints of educators from diverse educational backgrounds and levels through a series of in-depth interviews. The research aims to offer a deeper understanding of the implications of the curriculum freedom of learning and to shed light on how teachers perceive and adapt to these changes. By providing educators with a platform to voice their experiences, this study seeks to contribute to a more comprehensive comprehension of the intricate dynamics surrounding curriculum reform and its impact on the teaching profession.]]>

<![CDATA[The Independent Learning Curriculum (KMB) is a new curriculum that was established by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia in 2022. This study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Tuhemberua with the aim of examining teachers’ perspectives on the challenges and expectations related to KMB. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 5 teachers. The result of the study showed that teachers faced various challenges in implementing KMB at SMP Negeri 1 Tuhemberua, including: (1) lack of teacher understanding of KMB, (2) limited time, (3) lack of resources to support KMB learning, and (4) students were unable to follow the learning flow, so the learning objectives given by the teacher could not be achieved to the maximum. Despite these challenges, teachers also had high hopes for KMB at SMP Negeri 1 Tuhemberua, namely: (1) to improve the quality of learning, (2) to develop potential students optimally, and (3) to create a more enjoyable learning experience. This study contributes to the development of knowledge in the field of education by providing insights into the challenges and expectations of teachers related to KMB at SMP Negeri 1 Tuhemberua. This study can also be a reference for the government in implementing KMB optimally in various regions.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper explores the key role of teachers in educational curriculum development, especially in the implementation and evaluation of curriculum design. Teachers' skills and knowledge are not only as curriculum implementers, but also as learning architects who influence students' learning experiences. Teachers not only master open material, but also have an important role in planning relevant and interesting learning activities. This paper highlights the important collaboration between teachers and other stakeholders, such as curriculum administrators, parents, and the educational community. This collaboration is the basis for creating a curriculum that is effective, responsive to student needs, and reflects various perspectives. By introducing the role of teachers in curriculum implementation and evaluation, this paper encourages appreciation of their contribution in shaping the direction of education. Effective collaboration and a deep understanding of teacher involvement are expected to increase the holism of curriculum development, create more meaningful learning experiences for students, and improve the overall quality of education..]]>

<![CDATA[This article explores the potential and challenges associated with implementing the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in Indonesia. The method used in this article is a quantitative method by interviewing several teachers at the school. The curriculum is anticipated to enhance education quality by offering flexibility for teachers, enabling students to pursue learning based on their interests, boosting student motivation, and fostering the development of 21st-century skills. However, the article highlights several challenges, including teacher readiness, availability of facilities, mindset change, and the need for effective evaluation. It underscores the crucial requirement for support from the government, schools, teachers, students, and parents to effectively address these challenges and successfully implement the curriculum.]]>

<![CDATA[Learning models develop as technology develops. Nowadays teachers can no longer teach using conventional teaching methods only but they also have to use technology for teaching. The use of technology in teaching does not mean that you have to abandon old methods. However, combining the two could be a good alternative. One of the learning models is the hybrid learning or blended learning model. What is its application in teaching English courses at the Catholic University of Widya Karya Malang? This research explores the process of using hybrid learning in learning English at Widya Karya Catholic University Malang, especially in English subject . The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, which provides an overview of the implementation of this learning method. It turns out that using this method provides many positive benefits both from the teacher's side and from the student's side.]]>

Student learning outcomes in the daily learning process are one aspect that can have an impact on curriculum adjustments. <![CDATA[The focus of this research is to find the usage of the transitivity processes in SIA’s selected song lyrics. This research is descriptive qualitative research. This study attempts to identify and investigate transitivity mechanisms that are employed in the SIA’s selected song lyrics. The source data of this research are the five selected song lyrics of SIA. Meanwhile, the data of this research are the clauses that used transitivity processes in SIA’s selected song lyrics. The interactive model is used to analyze the research's data. The results show that five of SIA’s song lyrics contain all six categories of transitivity processes, which include mental, relational, material, verbal, behavioral, and existential processes. From the six types of transitivity processes that are found, the material process is dominantly used in SIA’s selected song lyrics. It suggests a connection between the physical activity that occurs in the social phenomenon and the lyrics of the songs chosen by SIA. In order to fully comprehend the song's meaning, readers should be aware of transitivity processes. Along with that, it also benefits the songwriter by giving them more freedom to craft lyrics with a variety of language.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the results of the application of the Quiziz application in English language learning as evaluation material for grade XI Mipa 1 students at SMA 6 Maros. The research method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sample of this study was class XI Mipa 1 students consisting of 17 people. Research data was collected through the use of the Quiziz application which is used as an evaluation tool in English language learning. The collected data is analyzed using descriptive statistical methods to analyze the level of student understanding of the material taught. The results showed that the application of the Quiziz application in English language learning made a significant contribution in improving student understanding. Students show improvement in evaluation scores after using the Quiziz app as evaluation material. In addition, students also provide positive feedback regarding the use of this application in English language learning. This study provides recommendations for English teachers to consider using the Quiziz application as an evaluation tool in learning. In addition, this research can also be a reference for schools or other educational institutions in choosing and implementing the right application to improve English learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[The comic "Lookism," is a narrative that follows the journey of Park Hyung Seok, a teenager who experiences bullying because of his appearance. His decision to change houses and schools brings about a drastic transformation when he wakes up with a perfect new body. Despite gaining a popular social life at a new school, Park Hyung Seok is still faced with the challenge of adapting to changes in his body and environment. The uniqueness of this story lies in the ability to return to one's original body, reminding that physical appearance is not everything. The main message of "Lookism" is the importance of self-acceptance and the realization that success in life does not only depend on appearance, but also on personality and abilities. This comic illustrates that every change brings new adventures. Life is a journey full of mysteries and challenges that shape a person's character. The comic "Lookism" teaches that true happiness and success in life lies in self-acceptance and the development of true personality and abilities.]]>
