<![CDATA[This research examines language politeness which is an important skill that needs to be instilled early on to familiarize children in communicating politely. One effective method is through children's shows that apply the principles of language politeness. In the study, the researcher used the animated video "Pada Zaman Dahulu" as the medium of analysis. The researcher focuses on the ten principles of language politeness according to Leech which are manifested in the utterances of the Kancil and Monyet characters. The purpose of this research is to find out the language politeness of the two animated characters, namely Kancil and Monyet. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and pragmatics theoretical approach. The data were obtained from the animated series "Pada Zaman Dahulu" which consists of five videos with speech that is in accordance with language politeness. This study analyzes the compliance and violation of speech based on ten language politeness thimbles. The maxim found and analyzed include the generosity maxim, tact maxim, approbation maxim, modesty maxim, obligation of S to O maxim, obligation of O to S maxim, agreement maxim, opinion reticence maxim, sympathy maxim, and feeling reticence maxim. The number of the ten maxim will be presented in a table. Meanwhile, the data of the characters' speech in the animation that uses Malay language will be presented with the context as an explanation of the speech in order to facilitate data analysis and also facilitate readers in knowing the meaning of Malay language that is not yet understood so that readers can understand the analysis of language politeness in the animation "Pada Zaman Dahulu"]]>

<![CDATA[Macbeth was one of William Shakespeare's famous plays that used many shadows to beckon events to come in this story. In Macbeth's stories shadows are used to create tensions and raise questions about agency and moral responsibility in the drama. This study aims to analyze and identify the use of additives in the text and connect it to the development of themes and characters in Macbeth's story. In addition, the researchers also used interpretation and evaluation. After evaluating "Macbeth," the researcher gives his own view of the work. This data-research method employs a qualitative approach. Research shows that parallels are used in "Macbeth" to predict the direction of the story, build tensions, and develop character. Parallels are used to show changes in character and awareness of responsibility dealt with by Macbeth. Examples of vocations used in "Macbeth" include witch prophecies, soliloquy Macbeth, hallucinations and visions, and the use of invention. <![CDATA[In the context of this research, we apply in-depth qualitative research methods to investigate and analyze the differences and similarities between Ambonese and Indonesian. This approach involves a series of in-depth interviews with native speakers of both languages, allowing us to reconcile complex linguistic aspects and explore the social and cultural contexts that shape language differences in two different environments. Content analysis is also used to explore cultural nuances and linguistic aspects that may not be immediately apparent. By focusing on the relationship between language, identity, and culture, this research aims to provide a deeper understanding of how linguistic differences reflect and influence people's identities. In addition, we seek to explain the practical impact of these language differences in various everyday communication contexts. The results of this research not only have the potential to provide new insights into the structure and use of Ambonese and Indonesian, but can also contribute to a broader understanding of language complexity in multicultural contexts. Therefore, this article not only contributes to the linguistic literature, but also simplifies the practical and cultural implications of language differences in societies that use these two languages in daily interactions.]]>

<![CDATA[Poetry is beautiful language based on the results of someone's thoughts and feelings expressed in written language. Poetry is an imaginative literary work that contains analogies of meaning with other uses so that the meaning contained in the poem is hidden behind words, similes and aesthetics that not everyone understands the meaning of the poetry conveyed. When reading poetry, it is necessary to read poetry repeatedly to understand the meaning of the poem because the language in poetry has a broad, implied meaning and is difficult to interpret. Therefore, readers must understand how to study poetry with knowledge in order to understand the meaning of the poetry conveyed. The poem by Heri Isnaini with the title "1 Distance" is formed in simple language but is interesting to study. This attracts a reader to study the poem and use it as research material. The aim of this research. The aim of this research is to analyze the meaning in the poem entitled "Distance 1" by Heri Isnaini and convey the content of the poem in detail so that readers can understand the meaning conveyed through this research. This research is also useful for readers to further develop literary works in the form of poetry. The method used in this research uses a qualitative descriptive method which examines the content of the meaning of the poem "1 Distance". In this way, this research will reveal the implied meaning of the poetry presented by the poet. Apart from that, the author dissects this poem using a mimetic approach. Mimetics is an approach in literary criticism regarding imitation or fiction of real life.]]>

<![CDATA[In recent times, literature has become a popular subject among the people. Because there is a lot of beauty in it, and also never far from the relationship between society and individuals and between individuals and events. Literature produces many works called literary works. Literary works are not only in the form of novels and poetry but can also be in the form of movies. The author chose this data source so that people can be more aware of concerns. There are two objectives in this study, the first is to find out what types of worries are contained in My Name is Khan movie, and the second is to analyze how the main character in My Name is Khan movie struggles against the stigmatization of Islam as a terrorist religion. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, a qualitative descriptive approach is a research approach where the data collected is in the form of words, pictures, and not numbers. Because it occurs naturally, the research results are of course also scientific and measurable. In this method, the researcher tries to describe the facts obtained to provide clues about the problem being studie d.This movie shows us the reality that there are still many people in this world who have thoughts like this. Superficial and judging someone only based on their identity without wanting to know what it is. This still often happens in our lives, people who are discriminated against just because of their religion are considered to be wrong. The types of religious discrimination in the movie My Name is Khan that are visible and proven in the previous chapter are Harassment by insulting Islam directly and Bullying with physical violence experienced by the characters in My Name Khan movie. Harassment experienced by the characters in My Name is Khan's movie. Words in the form of swear words. Swearing in the case of this research is used by a person or group to express all forms of dissatisfaction and anger toward the situation they are facing. After analyzing the data in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that Khan’s struggle against the stigmatization of Islam was by meeting the President of the United States, Barack Obama. To tell and prove to the whole world that he and his religion are not terrorists. This was also proven in his dialogue with Dr. Faisal Rahman who created a bad image of Islam and taught acts of revenge. Even though the fact is that Islam has never been taught that way.]]>

<![CDATA[This research discusses the personality and emotions of the character Saka in the novel Egocentric by Syahid Muhammad. The aim of the research is to explain an in-depth and detailed understanding of the personality structure and emotional classification of the Saka character. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The approach used is literary psychology using Sigmund Freud's personality theory and David Krech's emotional classification theory. The data for this research is a quote from the novel Egocentric by Syahid Muhammad. The data collection method in this research uses the literature study method. The results and discussion show that Saka's character has an id, ego and superego personality structure and shows Saka's emotional classification.]]>

<![CDATA[The Purpose of Research on Seba baduy conducted by STKIP Sheikh Manshur students in Lebak Regency, aims to get to know more closely the Baduy community in preserving their culture in Seba baduy activities. The research method used is descriptive with a functional approach through data collection techniques in the form of interviews and observations. The result of this research illustrates that Seba Baduy activity is the culmination of a ritual event conducted once a year which is intended to express gratitude to God and the government for the welfare of the Baduy community that has been produced in a period of one year. In addition, Seba Baduy activity has a ritual ceremony, this ceremony is a proof of customary recognition and aims to stay in touch between Kanekes community and the government both in the regency and province, namely to the regent and governor officials who informally become the leaders of Baduy community. The best time and date for the ceremony is chosen, especially after the harvest. The seba ceremony is a series of religious or belief systems of the Sunda Wiwitan religion adopted by the Kanekes community, so this ceremony must be carried out because it is an ancestral heirloom that must continue to be maintained and preserved which is passed on continuously to its children and grandchildren in a firm and binding manner.
