Abstract

This research aims to analyze the dynamics and management challenges of Islamic educational institutions at Pondok Modern Al-Rifa’ie Satu in facing the modernization of education and the era of globalization. This study is motivated by the development of modern education, which requires pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) to be able to adapt to social, cultural, scientific, and technological changes without abandoning traditional pesantren values. The research method used is qualitative research with a library research approach. Data were obtained from various literature sources, such as scientific journals, books, articles, and documents related to Islamic education management, pesantren modernization, and the dynamics of Islamic education in the digital era. Data analysis techniques were carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and descriptive-analytical conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that Pondok Modern Al-Rifa’ie Satu experiences educational management dynamics through the integration of religious education, general education, and the development of students' skills. Modernization is carried out by utilizing learning technology, strengthening the pesantren organization, and developing excellent programs without eliminating pesantren traditions, such as the study of kitab kuning (classical Islamic texts), character building, and a culture of discipline. The challenges faced include the development of digital technology, human resource development, competition between educational institutions, and the influence of globalization on the character of the younger generation. To face these challenges, the pesantren implements management strategies in the form of strengthening institutional governance, improving the competence of educators, technology-based learning innovation, and strengthening character education based on Islamic values. Thus, adaptive and professional Islamic education management becomes an important factor in maintaining the existence of modern pesantren while upholding Islamic identity amidst the changing times.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of audio murottal media in improving students' Al-Qur'an memorization skills. The research method employed a qualitative approach with a case study design at MA Al-Falah Campaka. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with key informants, participative observation in tahfidz activities, and documentation. Data analysis followed the interactive model which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicated that the structured use of audio media for 15-20 minutes before memorizing significantly enhanced students' tajwid accuracy and fluency (fashahah). The audio media served as a standard pronunciation model that self-corrected pronunciation errors. Furthermore, consistent auditory stimulation was proven to accelerate the acquisition of new memorization and strengthen long-term memory retention during murojaah activities. The primary supporting factors included religious madrasah policies and students' personal digital devices, while the main obstacles involved limited audio laboratory facilities, technical issues, and varying levels of student discipline. This study concludes that audio media is an effective instructional tool to complement conventional halaqah methods.
