Abstract

The community service aims to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable utilization of mangrove forest resources through environmentally conscious management. Through a participatory approach involving local communities, local governments, and non-governmental organizations, the identification of dominant mangrove species, mapping of critical areas, and development of sustainable management plans are conducted. Through education, training, and field socialization activities, communities are empowered to understand the ecological and economic benefits of mangrove forests as well as environmentally friendly management techniques. The result is an increased awareness of the importance of preserving mangrove forests and their sustainable utilization, while creating economic and social benefits for the local community. Active community involvement in management enhances the longterm sustainability of this project.

Abstract

This community service program was implemented in Desa Jatireja, Kecamatan Cikarang Timur, Kabupaten Bekasi. The aim of holding this community service is to introduce the heritage of traditional games to children as the nation's future generation in the future. Abstract

This community service program was carried out at Rumah Pelangi, Sukawangi District, Bekasi Regency. Some of the main problems that are a problem in Binong Village, Jatireja Village, East Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency, are the lack of optimal knowledge of access to traffic signs and roads. The results of this PKM activity are described through the role of the community in providing positive reinforcement in the form of support and appreciation to children. Abstract

This community service program was carried out in Kecamatan Cikarang Timur Kabupaten Bekasi. Some of the main problems that are a problem in Kecamatan Cikarang Timur Kabupaten Bekasi are the lack of optimal literacy knowledge of the community regarding the potential of the surrounding environment. The results of this PKM activity are described through the role of students as agents of change as a form of local knowledge, which can be used as a means of socializing the importance of awareness to improve literacy skills by getting to know the surrounding environment more closely. The process of introducing literacy to children through the concept of natural tadabur in the surrounding environment is carried out through three approaches, namely: socialization, mentoring, and direct learning about the environment.

Abstract

The reading, numeracy and science knowledge of Indonesian children is below that of Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand based on the results of the PISA (The Program for International Student Assessment) test released by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 2016. Meanwhile 70% of adults in Jakarta only have the ability to understand information from short writing, but have difficulty understanding information from longer and more complex writing. And 86% of adults in Jakarta can only solve arithmetic problems that require one step, but have difficulty completing calculations that require several steps. This data was concluded from the results of the PIAAC (The Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies) assessment, a voluntary competency test for adults aged 16 years and over

Abstract

Eschatology is generally understood as the Bible's teaching regarding the last days or the period before Jesus returns. The certainty of Christ's second coming which will be accompanied by the events of the resurrection and final judgment, this is also an important doctrine. This article aims to show the importance of this doctrine being taught and understood in the church, especially in the environment. The method used in this research is an interpretative descriptive analysis method of the biblical text.

Abstract

On October 10, 2023, the Fire Department (Damkar) conducted a fire safety education program at TKK IPEKA Pluit to educate young children about fire prevention and emergency procedures. This initiative aimed to instill basic fire safety knowledge in students, including the use of firefighting equipment and safe evacuation procedures. The interactive approach, involving simulations and storytelling, engaged the children effectively. Teachers and staff also received training to handle emergencies competently. The program ensured the availability and functionality of fire safety equipment throughout the school. Continuous collaboration with Damkar provided valuable guidance and evaluation, enhancing the program's effectiveness. As a result, there was a significant improvement in the children’s understanding and readiness for fire emergencies. This program not only heightened fire safety awareness within the school community but also established TKK IPEKA Pluit as a model for implementing comprehensive and effective fire safety education

The industrial revolution transformed manufacturing by shifting from traditional hand-based methods to machine use. Currently in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, characterized by advancements in IT, automation, big data, robotics, AI, and IoT, we are moving towards Industrial Revolution 5.0, which integrates advanced technology with human skills for more efficient, flexible, and sustainable production. This technological development impacts future labor market demands, necessitating educational adaptation to develop digital era skills. Vocational education and training are crucial for preparing individuals for automated and connected jobs.
