Abstract

This study focuses on the problems in pronouncing Arabic letters and reading Arabic texts encountered by Arabic students at the Department of Arabic language who graduated from public secondary schools. To address these issues, researchers experimented with the simulation approach utilizing a gradual recitation program of the Qur'an from easy to complex, rarely heard, and listening to well-known verses. This research aimed to identify the simulation in the gradual Qur'an recitation program suitable for promoting the ability to articulate Arabic sounds for third-year students using Classroom Action Research (CAR). Kurt Lewin proposed the research design with planning, action, observation, and reflection procedures. The researchers completed the simulation procedure by listening to multiple repetitions of well-known verses utilizing a gradual Qur'an recitation program. The findings of this study were that the method in the present study, in which the researchers use Qur'an recitation with a simple rhythm and design the familiar verses, is appropriate to improve the students' ability to pronounce sounds.

Abstract

This development research aims to develop a CEFR-based qowa'id learning evaluation tool using an interactive Wordwall game with the aim of identifying the level of student understanding and so that it can be accessed by students more flexibly without being limited by space and time, more effectively and is also expected to be more efficient in learning. its maintenance. This research is a research and development (Research & Development). This research aims to produce a product or develop a product. The results in this study are based on the student's own assessment response described through the distribution of a questionnaire that has been carried out with a percentage score of 91.19% of the maximum score of 100%. Student test results to identify qowa'id understanding, at the level of understanding the material at 78.51% and not understanding the material at 21.49%. Therefore, it can be concluded that almost all students give an assessment that can be categorized as Very Good on the Wordwall interactive quiz game that has been used and from the test results that have been carried out that on average students understand the qowa'id material that has been combined with the interactive Wordwall game.

Abstract

In this epidemic era, teachers are expected to build a successful learning environment in conjunction with online learning. Basic nahwu learning is one of the lessons affected by the pandemic situation. Learning the Arabic language system is increasingly difficult to do online because the Arabic language system is very different from Indonesian, as the learners' mother language. The presentation of linguistic rules clearly cannot be done directly. Educators are responsible for innovating nahwu learning through the unity-based Nahma educational game "Nahwu Matching" so that learners can easily understand and avoid boredom during the full online learning. The use of educational games is the right solution to overcome this problem. The aims of this study are: (1) to find out the needs of lecturers and students, (2) to describe the prototype picture of the Nahma. The data of this study were obtained through test and non-test data. The tool of the test is a written test while tools of the non-test data are interviews, observations, and questionnaires on the needs of lecturers and students. Based on the findings, it can be stated that both students and teachers require engaging learning applications for Nahwu that can successfully assist the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the prototype designs of the Corpus of Arabic debates. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) which purpose to produce product prototype designs. The author performs three stages of several stages of the existing method. First the analysis, second the planning, and third the development. The research data is in the form of audio-visual debates from the 'Qatardebate' account and debate technical handbooks. All data were collected in a corpus of website-based debates. The results showed that (a) the design of the debate corpus was carried out in two stages, namely the collection of needs and the design of the debate corpus, (b) to create an appropriate debate delivery structure, it must synthesize debate practices and guidelines applied, and (c) the Arabic debate corpus serves to analyze the use of corcondance and the frequency of words used by debaters.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a model of teaching speaking skill, know the validity of a model of teaching, and measure the effectiveness of a model of teaching speaking skill based on hypnoteaching. This research is a type of research and development (R&D) that took six steps of product development, adopted from the book Borg and Gall. The researcher uses various data collection methods, including observation, interview, questionnaire, and test. The researcher analyzes the qualitative data on the interactive model by Miles and Huberman and the quantitative data on the percentile and the mean formulation. The results of the research are: First, the developed teaching model is distinguished by hypnoteaching specifications, which include the following five contents: preliminary, integration of the concept of speaking skill and hypnoteaching, characteristics of teaching model implementation, components of teaching model activities, and types of teaching model speaking skill based on hypnoteaching. Second, the developed teaching model is valid to be applied. It emerged from the results of the questionnaire for the contents of the teaching model. It shows 94.5% and 97.7%, indicating that the education model's assessment of speaking skill is "very good" on average. Third, the developed teaching model appears to be effective in improving students' speaking skills, as evidenced by the average results of samples in the pre-test, which begin at 47,6 and progress to 83,6. Then, according to the last measurement questionnaire of its effectiveness, the result is "very good."

Abstract

Authentic assessment is a model for assessing learning processes and outcomes that differ from ordinary assessments. Authentic judgment must be done in a natural context, not contrived, applied and taught. Authentic assessment is also an assessment mandate in Indonesia's latest curriculum, namely the 2013 Revised Curriculum (revised K.13). The speaking aspect is at the core of successfully learning other aspects of Arabic language skills: listening (istimā'), reading (qirā'ah), writing (kitābah) and culture (Ṡaqafah). With proper speaking assessment will be the capital of success in learning speaking and other aspects of learning Arabic. Therefore, a, this article aims to present an authentic assessment instrument model of aspects of Arabic speaking learning (kalām) based on revision K.13. The research method used is research on the development of 4D models, define (definition), design (Design), develop (Development) and disseminate (trial). The results showed that the speech skills assessment instrument developed in this article has good validity, through expert tests (84%) and public tests (78%). The results of this study state that the developed speech ability assessment instrument is suitable for use.

Abstract

Learning Arabic vocabulary often brings difficulties, especially in memorizing and remembering vocabulary. Interesting learning methods can be a solution to these problems. This study aims to describe the application of the Cognitive Retroactive Transfer (CRT) method in Arabic vocabulary learning, focusing on honing students' cognitive abilities and memory so that they can easily remember and memorize the vocabulary they have learned. This study uses a pre-experimental design research approach with a one-group pretest-posttest and saturated sampling with a sample of 30 students. The data analysis technique used is the normality test to find out if the data that is distributed is normally distributed. Furthermore, the researchers used the Paired Sample T-Test and Effectiveness Test to determine the effectiveness of the applied method. The Cognitive Retroactive Transfer (CRT) method is applied by giving a test which is then assessed directly by the teacher. The teacher provides an evaluation and the test is applied directly by the students in everyday life. With this method, students are expected to be able to remember and memorize the Arabic vocabulary they have learned. The trial application of the Cognitive Retroactive Transfer (CRT) method reaped positive results where approximately 70% of class IX students at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Malang City were able to remember and apply the vocabulary they had learned when communicating in daily life.

Abstract

This study aims at the importance of reading in the investigation of manuscripts, as it requires a wide knowledge, long experience, and a lot of reading. A good reading is the one that eases the difficulties for the investigator, and overcomes the obstacles for him. This paper is a study of the method by which the reading skill is employed in the verification of Arabic manuscripts. After the introduction, the writer spoke briefly about the research method or method, as well as the skill of reading and the verification of manuscripts. Then he sheds light on the role of reading in the verification of manuscripts, and the errors of scribes in manuscripts, then he talks about the investigator's treatment of the text of the manuscript while relying on sources and references related to education and what is related to the verification of manuscripts, referring to them at the end of the research.
