Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has profoundly transformed consumption patterns in society, particularly among students. The convenience of online shopping through e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, combined with modern lifestyle trends and low levels of financial literacy, often fosters consumptive behavior. This tendency is evident in habits of excessive purchasing, decisions driven more by desire than necessity, and the urge to follow prevailing trends. Such behavior not only affects daily life but also influences students’ financial management, especially for those who depend on parental financial support. This study aims to empirically analyze the influence of online shopping through Shopee, lifestyle, and financial literacy on students’ consumptive behavior at Universitas Gunung Rinjani. Employing a quantitative method with an associative approach, the research involved 55 students selected through purposive sampling based on specific criteria. Data were collected via questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression using SPSS software. The findings reveal that: (1) online shopping through Shopee positively and significantly affects students’ consumptive behavior; (2) lifestyle has a positive impact on consumptive tendencies; (3) financial literacy exerts a significant negative effect on consumptive behavior; and (4) jointly, these three variables significantly influence students’ consumptive behavior. In conclusion, the ease of transactions on Shopee, a hedonistic lifestyle orientation, and varying levels of financial literacy collectively shape students’ consumptive patterns. Therefore, enhancing financial literacy, regulating e-commerce usage, and promoting a more modest lifestyle are recommended to mitigate excessive consumption.

Abstract

Success in building good governance in an agency is highly dependent on the support of quality human resources. The quality of human resources is directly proportional to the quality of work produced; the better the quality of human resources, the higher the quality of work achieved. This study aims to examine the effect of work environment, work stress, and work discipline on work achievement, with a focus on LAM Foundation employees in Dumai City. The method used in this research is quantitative, with the population consisting of employees of the foundation. Data processing was carried out using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that the t-statistic for the relationship between work environment and work achievement was 2.219 (greater than 1.96), and the p-value was 0.027 (less than 0.05). This indicates that the first hypothesis (H1), which states that the work environment has a positive effect on work achievement, is accepted. Furthermore, for the work stress variable, the t-statistic value is 2.267 (greater than 1.96) and the p-value is 0.024 (less than 0.05), which supports the second hypothesis (H2) that work stress also has a positive effect on work achievement. Finally, for work discipline, the t-statistic shows a value of 2.782 (greater than 1.96) with a p-value of 0.006 (less than 0.05), so the third hypothesis (H3), which states that work discipline has a positive effect on work achievement, is also accepted. Overall, work environment, work stress, and work discipline have a significant effect on work achievement, with a contribution of 69.9%.

Abstract

The swift expansion of Subscription Video on Demand (SVoD) platforms in Indonesia is resulting in user retention challenges; data indicates that 23% of users plan to terminate their subscriptions. This research study examines the determinants of user happiness with the objective of giving pragmatic methods to mitigate subscription cancellation rates. The foundational principle of this research study is the Delone & McLean Information System Success Model. This theory elucidates the quality of the system, the quality of information, and the quality of service, which are identified as critical factors of user satisfaction and will ultimately influence the net benefits. This study employed a quantitative methodology, gathering data from 186 Indonesian SVoD respondents and analysing it by Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling. The analysis results indicate a substantial beneficial impact of system quality, information quality, and service quality on user happiness. User happiness influences net benefits, which can lead to user retention and market expansion. To address the problem of subscription cancellation business, this research study proposes a Video Streaming Analytics (VSA) system. The proposed VSA solution is a surveillance system to collect real-time information about video streaming KPIs. VSA uses machine learning models to improve network performance and can be used for personalization. The next step after implementing VSA is to use the information collected to create licenses and partnerships according to Indonesian user trends and preferences. By implementing VSA and personalized campaigns, SVoD platforms and telecom service providers can improve their user satisfaction and further reduce churn rates and tap into the potential of Indonesia's entertainment content market. This research study emphasizes analytics-based strategies to create competitive advantage and long-term sustainability in the industry.

Abstract

Pasar Cibinong in Bogor Regency plays a crucial role in the local economy. However, traditional market traders, particularly clothing retailers, face significant challenges in the post-COVID-19 era, including reduced consumer purchasing power and increasing competition from e-commerce platforms. This study aims to (1) identify the condition of clothing retailers during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, (2) analyze internal and external factors influencing business development, (3) formulate strategies to enhance competitiveness, and (4) determine strategic priorities. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with five respondents (three clothing retailers and two market managers) and direct observation. Quantitative data were collected via questionnaires distributed to 30 consumers. SWOT analysis was used to examine internal and external factors, while the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) determined strategy priorities. Findings show that COVID-19 significantly reduced retailers' incomes. Although the number of traders increased post-pandemic, consumer purchasing power remains low. Retailers benefit from strengths such as strong social interaction and flexible pricing, but struggle with limited technological adoption. SWOT analysis revealed opportunities like Pasar Cibinong’s strategic location and consumer trust, and threats from online competition. Four main strategies were formulated: Horizontal Integration of Traders, Cibinong Go Digital, Cibinong Easy Pay, and Cibinong Comfortable Shopping. AHP results ranked Cibinong Go Digital as the top priority (weight: 0.49), emphasizing digital integration and training. The implementation of Cibinong Go Digital is expected to improve competitiveness, requiring comprehensive support from market authorities and local government, alongside community participation.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and Economic Performance, with Corporate Ethical Identity (CEI) as a mediating variable. The research sample consists of companies participating in the CGPI program from 2020 to 2023. Using a quantitative method with panel data regression analysis via EViews 13, the study finds that both GCG and ERM have a positive influence on the formation of CEI. However, GCG and ERM do not directly affect Economic Performance. Conversely, CEI is proven to have a positive and significant impact on Economic Performance. A key finding of this study is that CEI serves as a full mediator, meaning the influence of GCG and ERM on Economic Performance is entirely channeled through the strengthening of Corporate Ethical Identity.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of stunting budget management in the South Halmahera Regency. A qualitative approach was employed through structured interviews with leaders of BAPPELITBANGDA, the Health Office, and three program beneficiaries. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of financial management is strongly influenced by the quality of budget planning, discipline in implementation, and transparent and accountable supervision and reporting. The budget planning process was assessed as adequate, marked by cross-sector involvement to ensure the implementation of both sensitive and specific interventions. Although the stunting budget has increased over the past three years, in 2023 only 9 out of 23 priority activities were effectively realized. The study also identifies several inhibiting factors, including limited regional budget capacity and high dependence on central government funding, suboptimal cross-sectoral coordination, and underutilization of real-time data by relevant local government agencies. Additionally, high poverty levels pose a significant challenge to efforts in accelerating stunting reduction. These findings highlight the need to strengthen budget management capacity, improve inter-sectoral coordination, and optimize the use of information technology to support data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of influencer marketing on TikTok on consumers' purchase intention towards skincare products from PT Cosmax Indonesia. Using the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) model approach, this research examines influencer characteristics such as attractiveness, expertise, originality, homophily, and interaction as stimuli affecting consumer attitudes, including image satisfaction and advertising trust, as well as self-brand connection towards purchase intention. Additionally, product attributes such as product quality, ingredients, awareness, and safety are also analyzed for their impact on purchase intention. Data were collected from 388 respondents who are active TikTok users aged 18–34 years and regularly use skincare products. A quantitative method through questionnaires was employed, and the data were analyzed using SEM-PLS (SmartPLS 4). The results of the study show that all influencer characteristics significantly influence advertising trust and image satisfaction. Advertising trust was found to have a direct impact on purchase intention, whereas image satisfaction and self-brand connection did not directly influence purchase intention. On the other hand, product attributes, especially product safety, were the most dominant factor in driving purchase intention. The results of the Multigroup Analysis also revealed that there were no significant differences between the preferences for educational and entertainment content in influencing the relationships among the variables. This study emphasizes the importance of influencer credibility and product quality as the primary strategies for influencing purchase decisions on TikTok.
