Abstract

This research aims to examine the factors influencing the behavioral intention to use the e-Tax Court system by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The study population consists of 1,237 taxpayers who submitted appeals or lawsuits to the Tax Court through the e-Tax Court platform between July 2023 and September 2024. The sample includes 200 e-Tax Court users selected through a systematic random sampling method. Data was collected via questionnaires distributed from October to November 2024, yielding 101 valid responses for analysis using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The findings indicate that perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness positively influence attitudes toward using the e-Tax Court system. Additionally, the study reveals that attitudes toward using the e-Tax Court significantly impact the intention to use the platform. However, perceived usefulness does not have a significant effect on the intention to use the e-Tax Court system.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a Key Risk Indicator (KRI) for the significant risks that have the potential to hinder the achievement of the company's targets, as well as to analyze the implementation of Law No. 4 of 2023, Article 252, regarding human resource development. The research is a case study of PT XYZ, which operates in the financing sector. The method used in this study is qualitative, with data collection through interviews and company document reviews. The KRI design is carried out by reviewing company documents, such as the risk register, to identify significant risks related to potential failures in achieving the company's targets, as reflected in the Key Performance Indicators. Then, the intermediate causes, root risks, KRI indicators, and threshold limits for these significant risks are determined. The significant risks identified include granting loans to debtors without considering their SLIK (Indonesian Credit Information System) history and delinquency, as well as analyzing the debtor's/candidate debtor's capacity without aligning with the actual conditions. The design of the KRI is expected to assist the company in monitoring events that indicate the occurrence of risks and enable early mitigation of risks that could affect performance achievement. Meanwhile, the risk mitigation design focuses on human resource development in accordance with Law No. 4 of 2023, Article 252. The risk mitigation design includes: 1) developing human resources through a refresher program by setting competency standards, 2) building a learning culture within the company, and 3) rotating Relationship Manager employees to the Collection department and removing them from Marketing activities.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of profitability on firm value and the moderating role of CEO narcissism. The research utilizes 225 financial reports from LQ45 companies, employing Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the PROCESS application. Profitability is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA), firm value by Tobin's Q, and CEO narcissism by CEO photo analysis. The findings indicate that profitability has a positive and significant impact on firm value, aligning with signaling theory, which suggests that high profitability sends positive signals to investors. However, CEO narcissism weakens this relationship. Narcissistic CEOs tend to focus more on personal image and aggressive strategies, increasing information asymmetry and reducing investor trust. These results highlight that high profitability does not always enhance firm value when influenced by leadership that neglects long-term sustainability. Therefore, companies must consider governance aspects in CEO selection to maximize firm value in the long run.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Instagrammable aesthetics and halal travel ethics on the travel preferences of Muslim Generation Z (Gen Z), specifically among students of Sharia Economics and Islamic Communication Studies at Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram. The phenomena of Instagrammable tourism, which emphasizes visual appeal, along with the growing awareness of halal travel principles in destination selection, are key factors shaping Gen Z’s travel preferences, who are highly active on social media. This research employs a quantitative descriptive-explanatory approach using a Likert scale questionnaire validated for reliability and validity. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 150 respondents. The results of multiple linear regression analysis indicate that although Instagrammable aesthetics and halal travel ethics have a positive influence on Gen Z’s travel preferences, the effects are minimal and statistically insignificant. This study fills a gap in the literature regarding the interaction between visual aesthetics and halal principles in the context of halal tourism in the social media era. It also offers practical implications for developing destination marketing strategies that incorporate both aesthetic values and Sharia ethics for young Muslim travelers. The study recommends sustainable and inclusive tourism development by integrating aesthetic appeal and halal ethics.

Abstract

Amid mounting bureaucratic complexity and performance demands, public organizations increasingly rely on employees’ innovative work behavior (IWB) to remain adaptive and effective. This study examines the effect of transformational leadership on IWB among Generation Z employees in a State Financial Management Organization, focusing on the mediating role of creative self-efficacy. Data were collected through a survey of 351 respondents using purposive sampling and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via LISREL. The results reveal that while transformational leadership has a significant direct effect on IWB, its indirect effect through creative self-efficacy is stronger. This underscores the importance of employees’ belief in their creative capabilities as a key psychological mechanism linking leadership style to innovative behavior. Theoretically, this study contributes to the leadership and innovation literature in Indonesia’s public sector context, particularly concerning the underexplored Generation Z workforce. Practically, the findings highlight the need to foster work environments that enhance creative self-efficacy and promote leadership that is not only visionary but also psychologically empowering.

Abstract

The mining sector plays a vital role in meeting energy needs and contributing to national export revenues. PT Bukit Asam is a key player in the coal supply chain. One of the primary challenges the company faces is the discrepancy between its internal work plan and budget and the government-approved annual work plan and budget for 2025. This research focuses on determining the most effective strategy to boost coal production in one of its major sites, the Muara Tiga Besar Utara (MTBU) pit. The strategic analysis began with the use of PESTEL and VRIO frameworks to evaluate external and internal conditions. Based on this evaluation, two strategic alternatives were developed. A cost-benefit analysis was then used to determine the most suitable option. The results indicate that Alternative 2 optimization of the central pit area is more financially viable, outperforming the other option in key financial indicators such as Net Operating Profit Margin (NOPM), Return on Investment (ROI), and Break-Even Point (BEP). Further evaluation through sensitivity analysis revealed that fluctuations in coal prices and changes in operating costs significantly affect Net Operating Cash Flow (NOCF). The implementation of the chosen strategy is divided into several phases: initial preparation, production optimization, and monitoring and evaluation. Risk mitigation measures include ensuring equipment availability, implementing real-time cost tracking, and managing exposure to price volatility.
