Abstract

In the era of digitalization, internal communication based on digital platforms is very important to increase employee productivity. This study examines how digital communication affects work performance by considering communication ethics, accessibility of digital devices, and clarity of information. This study used a cross-sectional survey method using a quantitative approach with 150 respondents from the fields of technology, manufacturing, and law. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS using multiple linear regression. The results showed that digital communication had a positive and significant impact on work performance (R2 = 0.739; p < 0.001), clarity of information (M = 4.35), accessibility (M = 4.40), and engagement (M = 4.25) as the main factors. However, 32% of respondents experienced information overload, especially in the technology sector. This highlights the importance of flexible digital communication strategies, such as hybrid and notification-based approaches. This study contributes to the development of organizational communication strategies that are more effective and responsive to the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

Technological advancements have had a significant impact across various sectors, including public procurement. The rise of e-marketplaces has been adopted by the government through the optimization of the electronic catalog (e-catalog) system. The e-catalog represents a governmental initiative aimed at promoting the involvement of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in public procurement, thereby supporting regional economic development. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings reveal that the implementation of the e-catalog policy for MSEs in Bogor Regency has not been fully effective. This suboptimal implementation is attributed to several factors, including inadequate procurement planning, the limited capacity of MSEs to execute projects, and hesitation among Procurement Officers (PP) and Commitment-Making Officials (PPK) in selecting available MSE providers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the employee performance appraisal system in the roof tile industry in Majalengka Regency, with a focus on identifying factors that influence the effectiveness of the performance appraisal system and its impact on employee productivity and job satisfaction. Quantitative and qualitative descriptive approaches were used in this study. A survey was conducted on 100 respondents, including employees and managers from several roof tile companies, to collect data related to job satisfaction, motivation, and productivity. In-depth interviews and focus group discussions were used to complement the survey results. Data were analyzed using statistical techniques such as correlation, regression, ANOVA, and t-test. The results showed that an unstructured performance appraisal system led to low employee satisfaction and work motivation, which ultimately had a negative impact on productivity. The correlation test showed a significant positive relationship between job satisfaction and motivation (r = 0.72, p < 0.05), while the regression test showed that an effective performance appraisal system contributed 58% to productivity (R² = 0.58). In addition, the t-test showed a significant increase in productivity after the implementation of the new system, with the average production increasing from 70 units/day to 85 units/day (t = 4.21, p < 0.05). This study recommends the implementation of a performance appraisal system based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI), training managers in providing feedback, and the use of technology to improve transparency and efficiency of evaluation.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of reward and punishment systems on employee productivity at PT. CB Enterprise, a mid-sized manufacturing company located in Cirebon City, Indonesia. The company has experienced fluctuating productivity levels, which prompted management to explore internal motivational strategies. However, prior to this study, no systematic evaluation had been conducted to determine the actual impact of such mechanisms within the company’s operational context. A quantitative research design was employed involving 100 employees as the total population sample. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire with Likert-scale responses, covering three key constructs: reward system, punishment system, and employee productivity. Each construct was measured using multiple validated indicators. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 26, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that the punishment system has a significant and positive effect on employee productivity, suggesting that disciplinary enforcement plays a crucial role in shaping work behavior. Conversely, the reward system showed no statistically significant influence. This does not suggest that rewards are irrelevant, but may indicate a misalignment between current reward strategies and employee expectations, especially regarding non-financial or intrinsic incentives. The findings provide insights into how structured punishment can reinforce productivity in certain organizational cultures, while also highlighting the need to reevaluate existing reward schemes. This study contributes to the broader discourse on human resource practices in Indonesian enterprises and calls for more context-sensitive incentive models in future research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style, work environment, and organizational culture on employee performance. The object of this research is the Head Office of PT. Bank BCA Syariah, located in East Jakarta. The population consists of employees from the Head Office, with a total sample of 80 respondents. This research employs an associative method with a quantitative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that, simultaneously, transformational leadership style, work environment, and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Partially, the transformational leadership style does not have a significant effect on employee performance. The work environment has a significant effect, particularly in aspects such as lighting and available facilities, which support employee productivity. Organizational culture also shows a significant influence on employee performance, as it shapes shared values, beliefs, and behaviors that guide actions within the organization. This study provides practical implications for companies in designing human resource management strategies to improve employee performance.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the phenomenon of reduced audit quality behavior, a form of dysfunctional audit behavior that directly reduces audit quality. This issue represents one of the most significant internal challenges for BPK in preparing auditors capable of upholding core values of integrity, independence, and professionalism in conducting state financial audits. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of resilience, professional commitment and turnover intention on reduced audit quality behavior, as well as to explore the role of turnover intention as an intervening variable in mediating the influence of resilience and professional commitment on reduced audit quality behavior. This research method is a quantitative method with a survey approach at BPK main office and BPK Representative. This research uses primary data obtained through filling out questionnaires online by 264 respondents who were sampled in the research. The data analysis method for this research is descriptive statistics and path analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 program. The research results show that resilience and professional commitment have a significant negative effect, while turnover intention has a significant positive effect on reduced audit quality behavior. Turnover intention as an intervening variable partially mediates the significant negative influence of resilience and professional commitment on reduced audit quality behavior.

Abstract

In recent years, the development of digital technology has driven significant changes in Indonesian consumption patterns, as reflected in the widespread use of e-commerce as a primary shopping platform. This study aims to examine the influence of live streaming and short video marketing on consumer behavior stages based on the AISAS (Attention, Interest, Search, Action, Share) model. The study involved 312 respondents who were active users of e-commerce platform XYZ in the Greater Jakarta area, selected through a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was an online questionnaire that met the validity and reliability criteria. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS version 4.0 software. The results show that both live streaming and short video marketing have a positive and significant influence on all stages of the AISAS model. These findings indicate that interactive, visually oriented marketing strategies can effectively enhance attention, stimulate interest, encourage information searches, and drive purchase and sharing decisions on e-commerce platforms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of compensation, competence, workload, work motivation, and self-efficacy on the performance of pharmacists working in pharmacies in Banyumas Regency. The population of this study was pharmacists working in pharmacies in Banyumas Regency, with a sample of 100 respondents. This study used a quantitative approach with convenience sampling. Data analysis was performed using SEM PLS. The results showed that compensation, competence, work motivation, and self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on pharmacists' performance, unlike workload, which had a positive but insignificant effect on pharmacists' performance. These findings indicate that internal factors such as motivation and self-efficacy have a greater influence on performance than external factors such as workload. This study contributes to the formulation of human resource management strategies in pharmacies, particularly in strengthening competencies, providing fair compensation, and increasing the motivation and self-efficacy of pharmacists to improve the quality of pharmaceutical services.
