Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, product availability, location, and store atmosphere in increasing customer loyalty at the Instore Distro Labuhanbatu Store. The background of this study is based on the increasingly fierce competition in the fashion retail business, so every business actor needs to pay attention to factors that can create a positive shopping experience and encourage the formation of customer loyalty. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach, involving customer respondents who have shopped at Instore Distro. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression techniques to determine the magnitude of the influence of each independent variable on customer loyalty. The results show that service quality, product availability, location, and store atmosphere have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Friendly and professional service quality increases customer satisfaction, the availability of complete and appropriate products encourages repeat shopping interest, a strategic location facilitates accessibility, while a comfortable store atmosphere creates a pleasant shopping experience. Simultaneously, these four variables are proven to contribute to the formation of customer loyalty at the Instore Distro Labuhanbatu Store.

Abstract

Despite the growing influence of social media on sustainable consumption, its theoretical integration within the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) remains limited. Prior studies largely treat social media as an external communication channel rather than as a structural component of behavioral intention models. This study extends TPB by conceptualizing social media interaction as both an antecedent of attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control, and as a moderator of the intention formation process in sustainable fashion consumption. Using survey data from 300 Indonesian social media users and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the findings indicate that social media interaction significantly influences all TPB constructs. Perceived behavioral control emerges as the strongest predictor of purchase intention. Moderation analysis reveals that social media interaction strengthens the attitude–intention relationship, does not significantly affect the norm–intention relationship, and weakens the control–intention relationship. The study contributes to theory by offering a digitally contextualized extension of TPB and highlights the importance of structured and interactive social media strategies in promoting sustainable fashion consumption.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of service features, interface appearance, and security on user interest in the Wondr by BNI mobile banking application, with digital trust as an intervening variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 115 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through a Likert scale-based questionnaire and analysed using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) method. The results indicate that service features and security significantly influence digital trust but do not significantly influence user interest. The interface does not significantly influence digital trust but does influence user interest. The role of digital trust in mediating the influence between service features, interface design, security, and user interest is not significantly influential. The research model shows moderate predictive relevance, with significant influence on the structural model. This study provides important insights into service features, interface design, security, and digital trust that influence user interest in mobile banking applications, particularly in the Wondr by BNI application.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of live streaming commerce on electronic word-of-mouth with brand image as a mediating variable among young consumers in Jakarta. The study focuses on the local fashion industry, with local fashion industry the research object. The research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory design, using a survey method involving 435 respondents who have watched live streaming commerce on various e-commerce platforms. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through the SmartPLS 4 software. The results show that live streaming commerce has a positive and significant effect on brand image as well as on electronic word-of-mouth. In addition, brand image also has a positive and significant influence on electronic word-of-mouth. The mediation analysis indicates that brand image partially mediates the relationship between live streaming commerce and electronic word-of-mouth. These findings reveal that interactive experiences in live streaming commerce can strengthen brand perception among young consumers, which in turn encourages them to share positive experiences and product recommendations online. Overall, the results of this study emphasize the important role of brand image in strengthening the impact of live streaming commerce strategies on young consumers’ communication behavior in the digital era. These findings provide practical implications for e-commerce practitioners and local fashion brands to optimize live streaming as an effective interactive promotional medium for building brand image and enhancing electronic word-of-mouth organically.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial sector development and economic growth on poverty levels in Riau Province. Financial sector development is measured through the ratio of credit to Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), while economic growth is measured using the real GRDP growth rate. The data used are annual secondary data for the 2013–2023 period obtained from official publications of Statistics Indonesia (BPS). The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with a quantitative approach. The results show that financial sector development has a negative and significant effect on poverty levels, indicating that increased credit distribution helps reduce poverty in Riau Province. Economic growth also has a negative and significant effect on poverty levels, suggesting that improved regional economic performance contributes to enhancing community welfare. Thus, strengthening the financial sector and regional economic activities is an effective strategy to reduce poverty levels in Riau Province.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of education and inflation on the open unemployment rate in Riau Province from 2009 to 2023. This research applies a quantitative approach using time series data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Riau Province. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression to determine both partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on unemployment. The results of the t-test indicate that education has a negative and highly significant effect on the open unemployment rate, meaning that an improvement in educational attainment contributes to a reduction in unemployment. Inflation also shows a negative and significant effect, suggesting that increases in inflation within a reasonable range are associated with higher labor absorption. Furthermore, the F-test results demonstrate that education and inflation simultaneously have a significant influence on the unemployment rate. The model is supported by an R-Squared value of 0.748, indicating that 74.8% of the variation in unemployment can be explained by the variables included in the model. These findings highlight the importance of improving educational quality and maintaining stable macro economic conditions to reduce unemployment in Riau Province.

Abstract

Income inequality is one of the factors influencing the economy of a region. The aim of this research is to examine the effect of inflation and open unemployment rate variables on income inequality. This research utilizies secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Riau Province from 2014 to 2023. The research uses multiple linear regression methods. We use a quantitative approach using eviews as an analytical tool to test the hypothetical model. The research findings show that inflation and open unemployment rate have a positive and significant impact on income inequality. From the results of the determination test, this means that income inequality in Riau province can be explained by the inflation variable and the open unemployment rate with a value of 73.21%, while the remaining 26.79% is explained by variables outside the research model. Finally, based on these findings, we propose some promising research directions and implications for government policymakers to consider the level of stability of the inflation rate, and also create jobs so that the unemployment rate decreases so that income inequality also decreases.

Abstract

The Islamic banking industry in Indonesia has experienced steady institutional development, yet its market share remains relatively low, indicating stagnant public interest, particularly in savings products. This study investigates the influence of Service Quality and Brand Image on Saving Intention in Islamic banks, with Religiosity serving as a moderating variable. Using a quantitative associative approach, data were collected from 170 respondents across different regions of Indonesia through an online questionnaire measured with a five-point Likert scale. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS software. The findings show that both Service Quality and Brand Image significantly and positively influence Saving Intention, with Brand Image identified as the most dominant factor. Religiosity functions as a pure moderator, strengthening the relationship between Service Quality and Saving Intention as well as between Brand Image and Saving Intention, although it does not directly affect Saving Intention. The model demonstrates strong explanatory power, reflected in an R-square value of 0.912, indicating that 91.2% of the variance in Saving Intention is explained by the examined variables. These results suggest that saving behavior in Islamic banking is shaped not only by rational and functional factors but also by emotional and spiritual considerations. Therefore, Islamic banks should focus on improving service quality, strengthening brand image, and consistently embodying Islamic values to enhance customer loyalty and increase saving intention, while contributing to more effective customer-oriented strategies in the Islamic banking sector.
