Abstract

This study investigates the connection between Maqashid Syariah principles and the Human Development Index (HDI) across 34 Indonesian provinces from 2019 to 2023. Using panel data regression with a Fixed Effect Model, it examines five Maqashid Syariah dimensions: protection of Din, Nafs, ' Aql, Nasl, and Mal. Results indicate positive and significant impacts on HDI from four dimensions, while protection of intellect shows a negative influence. Together, these dimensions account for 99% of HDI variance. The research suggests policymakers prioritize these areas for sustainable and inclusive human development. Further studies should explore alternative indicators for protecting the intellect dimension to better align with theoretical expectations.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Green Trust as a mediating variable in expanding the TPB theory for the adoption of electric vehicles in Indonesia. The study method used is a quantitative method. Sampling in this study used a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method, where researchers deliberately selected respondents who were considered relevant for research purposes. Data was collected through questionnaires to all Indonesian people who have the intention to adopt automotive electrical. The data collection process was carried out through the use of a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The total number of respondents involved in this study was 425 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this study is the SEM PLS method, which consists of outer model and inner model analysis, with the help of SMARTPLS 4.0 software. The research results show that extensions of the TPB theory such as Attitude, Subjective Norm, and PBC variables have an effect on electrical automotive adoption, but green trust does not mediate the relationship between attitude and subjective norm towards adoption (EAV). This research provides valuable recommendations to increase the widespread adoption of electric automobiles in Indonesia.

Abstract

To reduce risk factors for work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) in the denture fabrication workforce, low-cost ergonomic interventions can be highly effective. This study aims to identify the risk of musculoskeletal disorders in the laboratory of PT X and reduce, enhancing worker comfort, productivity, and overall well-being. Using quantitative methods through RULA and REBA, as well as analysis of the ErgoFellow application, it was found that more than 50% of workers experienced musculoskeletal symptoms in the neck, shoulders, upper back, and wrists in the last 12 months. The Nordic Body Map questionnaire showed discomfort in most respondents due to their work. The results of the work posture analysis showed that the casting and sun-blasting workstations had a score of 4 with a moderate risk profile. In contrast, the night cooling workstation had the highest score of 6 with a moderate risk profile, indicating the need for further improvement. The night cooling station in particular requires investigation regarding the lowering of the stove position and adjustment of the pan position to reduce the risk to the arms and shoulders and improve safety. These recommendations are expected to improve working conditions and mitigate musculoskeletal risks at PT X.

Abstract

Environmental challenges and climate change remain pressing global concerns, pushing organizations to adopt sustainable practices, including Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM). This study explores the impact of Green HRM practices and employee training on employee efficiency, with employee motivation serving as a mediating variable. The research was conducted at PT Pegadaian Area Semarang, involving 120 respondents. The central question addressed in this study is whether Green HRM and employee training can enhance employee efficiency directly and through the mediating role of employee motivation. The research objectives are to analyze the direct impact of Green HRM and training on efficiency and examine the role of motivation as a mediator. The research utilizes the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique with a Partial Least Square (PLS) approach to analyze the data. The findings reveal that Green HRM and employee training do not directly affect employee efficiency. However, both significantly influence employee motivation, which, in turn, boosts employee efficiency. These results emphasize the critical role of motivation in mediating and driving efficiency improvements through Green HRM and training initiatives.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Sumba women weavers in empowering the family economy through the preservation of the ikat weaving culture in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Using a qualitative approach, this study explores the socio-economic dynamics of weavers' families, women's strategies in managing the ikat weaving business, and its impact on family welfare. The results showed that weaving activities not only functioned as a means of cultural preservation but also became a significant alternative source of income for families. Women weavers play a dual role as custodians of cultural heritage and supporters of the family economy, often making weaving work a 'lifeline' when the family's economic conditions are unstable. However, they still face challenges such as limited access to capital, training, and wider markets. Identified empowerment efforts include improving business management skills, facilitating access to productive resources, and developing marketing networks. This research highlights the importance of integrated support from various stakeholders to optimize the potential of Sumba ikat weaving as an instrument of family economic empowerment while preserving valuable cultural heritage.

Abstract

This research explores the adoption of digital technology in embroidery in a case study at Konveksi Persada Tingkir. Technology adoption plays a vital role in determining productivity, innovation, and business journey. The development of embroidery technology will make the production process easier, starting from the use of computers in the sewing and embroidery process. The transition from manual embroidery techniques to computer-based embroidery is a strategic step to increase productivity, product quality, and business competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market. This research uses mixed methods, qualitative and quantitative with a case study method. At Persada Company, entrepreneurs who become owners and managers have considerations in adopting computer technology to increase customer satisfaction and expand target markets. When comparing the level of technological sophistication, computer embroidery relies more on technoware, while manual embroidery relies more on humanware. The adoption of computer embroidery technology was able to increase production speed up to five times compared to manual techniques, with an average production reaching 160 units per day. In addition, the accuracy of embroidery results increased by 1.16 times, with product defect rates reduced by 58%, providing a significant impact on operational efficiency. This technology also makes it easier for the production process, which previously relied heavily on the skills of human operators, to now become more automated and consistent in terms of final results. The results of this research show that the adoption of digital technology, especially computer embroidery, is an effective solution for improving the performance of small and medium enterprises in the textile and convection sectors.
