Abstract

This study examines how pricing perception and brand image affect customer loyalty among Apple smartphone users, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. Data was collected from 100 undergraduate students in Surakarta, aged 18 to 25, who have used or owned an Apple smartphone. While this sample provides insights into a specific demographic, it may limit the study's generalizability. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3 was used to analyze the data. SEM was chosen due to its ability to model complex relationships and examine direct and indirect effects. The results show that brand image positively influences customer satisfaction but does not directly affect loyalty. Price perception significantly impacts satisfaction, which in turn affects loyalty. Customer satisfaction mediates the relationship between price perception, brand image, and loyalty. The study's limitations include the focus on a specific sample, suggesting future research should compare brands and explore factors like customer experience to deepen understanding of loyalty drivers.

Abstract

Work-Life Balance (WLB) has become a crucial component of juggling work and personal obligations, especially for medical professionals who have a lot on their plate. With an emphasis on the moderating function of Co-worker Relationship Quality (CwRQ), this study examines the effect of WLB on project performance among medical and paramedical professionals at RSUD Dr. Gunawan Mangunkusumo. Partial Least Squares (PLS) was used to examine the quantitative data that was gathered from 147 respondents using structured questionnaires. WLB has a beneficial impact on project performance, according to the data (β=0.418, p < 0.001). Additionally, CwRQ enhances the association between WLB and project performance (β=0.382, p < 0.001) in addition to having a direct favorable impact on project performance (β=0.359, p < 0.001). These results highlight how crucial it is to have a healthy work-life balance and cultivate positive connections with coworkers in order to improve project success in healthcare settings.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of One Single ERP system in SOE Holding, which previously faced challenges in consolidating data from three State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) with different ERP systems. This research uses the ADKAR framework (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, Reinforcement) to manage organizational change, overcome cultural and business process differences, and minimize resistance. The result of this research is that Employee Readiness requires a large allocation of effort to improve employee readiness through training, mentoring, and reinforcement. Top Management Support is also important to ensure strategic support and policies are aligned with transformation goals. Not all factors have an equal influence on successful implementation. With limited resources, Holding needs to prioritize the most influential factors, such as Employee Readiness and Top Management Support, so that efforts can be focused effectively and increase the chances of success. This approach accelerates the ERP implementation process while minimizing risks so that digital transformation goals can be achieved more quickly and efficiently.

Abstract

The tradition Bakar Batu (stone burning) is a cultural ritual that has a deep meaning for the Papuan people, not only as a traditional way of cooking but also as a unifying medium and cultural identity guardian. This study aims to analyze how the tradition of bakar batu plays a role in maintaining the cultural identity of Papuan migrants in urban areas such as Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi, (Jabodebek), and examine the dynamics of the implementation of the tradition in the urban context. The research uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods, involving participatory observation and in-depth interviews with Papuan migrants. The results show that the tradition of stone burning functions as: (1) binding solidarity among communities in the diaspora, (2) a means of intergenerational transmission of cultural values, (3) a symbol of resistance to the erosion of cultural identity, and (4) a medium for negotiating identity in urban space. The adaptation of traditional implementation in the urban context reflects the cultural resilience of Papuan migrants in maintaining their cultural identity. This research contributes to the understanding of the role of tradition in maintaining social cohesion and cultural identity of urban communities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget system based on Permendagri Number 21 of 2011 and standard cost analysis, as well as to determine the accountability reporting process based on PP no. 8 of 2006 and Government Accounting Standards. To get results based on these objectives, the author uses a problem-solving method. Data were obtained from interviews conducted by the author with the Regional Work Unit in the broadcasting sector. The results of the study indicate that in the preparation of a performance-based APBD, budgetary principles such as budget transparency and accountability, budget discipline, budget justice, budget effectiveness, and efficiency must be considered. The budget uses a performance model that prioritizes productivity achievement/results. The APBD is prepared based on performance, meaning that the government has made changes. These changes lead to an increase in the quality of social services and an increase in productivity. These two objectives encourage local governments to improve the institutional performance of the KPID Secretariat.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the extent to which marriage law in Indonesia accommodates the principles of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). CEDAW, which Indonesia ratified in 1984, sets out various principles to ensure gender equality in all aspects of life, including marriage and family. However, the implementation of these principles in Indonesian marriage law still faces various challenges. Using a normative legal analysis approach, this study evaluates existing marriage regulations in Indonesia, including Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. It examines whether these regulations comply with the provisions of CEDAW. This study also analyzes the gap between the principles of CEDAW and legal practices applied in Indonesia, taking into account cultural, social, and political factors that influence the implementation of these principles. The results of the study indicate that although there has been some progress in the equality of marriage rights, there are still inconsistencies in several aspects, such as restrictions on the age of marriage and women's rights in family decisions. Therefore, this study recommends a revision of several legal provisions in Indonesia to be more in line with the principles of CEDAW, to improve the protection of women's rights in the context of marriage.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of herding behavior, loss aversion, and availability on investment decision-making among Generation Z, with Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) as a mediator. Generation Z frequently relies on social media as a primary source of investment information, potentially leading to biases or decision-making errors. The research was conducted among a group studying capital markets in Semarang, employing purposive sampling to gather data from 251 respondents through Google Form questionnaires. Data analysis using Smart PLS 4.0 revealed that herding behavior does not significantly affect FoMO or investment decision-making among Generation Z. However, loss aversion and information availability significantly influence both investment decision-making and FoMO among Generation Z. FoMO does not mediate the relationship between herding behavior and investment decisions, but it does mediate the impact of loss aversion and information availability on investment decisions among Generation Z.
