Abstract

This study aims to measure and analyze the mental workload of employees in the Engineering department of a manufacturing company using the NASA-TLX method. The goal is to improve employee welfare and company productivity by identifying factors that cause high workloads and finding the right solution. The method used to determine the value of mental workload of employees in the Engineering department, is measured using the NASA-TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index) method. This method measures 6 dimensions of workload measurement, namely, Physical Demand, Temporal Demand, Performance, Effort, and Frustration Level. Most Informants (4 out of 5) experience a high mental workload, marked by a score above 60 on the NASA-TLX scale. The dimensions of "Time Demands" and "Mental Demands" are the main factors that contribute to the high mental workload in the tooling maker section. High mental workload is a serious problem that can have a negative impact on employee health, productivity, and job satisfaction. By implementing the right strategy, companies can reduce mental workload and create a healthier and more productive work environment.

Abstract

Service quality has become an important strategy in business that encourages customer involvement in creating products that meet customer demand to create customer satisfaction. Brand Image and E-WOM are also still important considerations that influence customer satisfaction. With customer satisfaction, it will be a factor in customer loyalty. The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of service quality, brand image, E-WOM, and customer satisfaction on loyalty in the Jabodetabek fashion industry. This study was designed using a purposive sampling method involving 180 customers who had purchased from several store brands in Jabodetabek malls. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM), with SmartPLS 4.0. Some of the findings in this study are that service quality, brand image, and E-WOM affect customer loyalty and service quality also has a direct effect on customer loyalty, while E-WOM and customer satisfaction do not affect customer loyalty. The managerial implications of this study are that although in general customer satisfaction contributes to loyalty, this relationship is not always simple and certain. In a competitive market like Jabodetabek with international fashion brands, other factors such as price, trends, and brand awareness also play an important role in determining customer loyalty.

Abstract

Young retail investors in the Indonesian capital market often face challenges due to various behavioral finance biases that can negatively impact their investment decisions. This study aims to examine the impact of herding, overconfidence, mental accounting, loss aversion, and bias on the investment decisions of novice retail investors, focusing on the moderating role of demographic factors such as generation, gender, education, and income. Using a quantitative design, data were collected through a structured questionnaire from 254 retail investors, with 246 valid responses analyzed through a regression-based method and moderation analysis using Hayes' PROCESS macro for SPSS. The results indicate that all behavioral finance factors negatively impact investment decisions, with demographic variables significantly moderating this impact. The findings suggest that tailored financial education and advisory services can help young novice investors make more informed and rational investment choices, thereby improving their financial well-being and market participation. The limitations of this study lie in its focus on a specific demographic in Indonesia, while its novelty includes a detailed analysis of the moderating impact of demographics on behavioral finance biases.

The rise of digital wallets in society, especially the millennial generation, has driven the concept of a cashless society where individuals use online transaction activities instead of physical cash for financial transactions. Gen Z has the potential to contribute to expanding Zakat acquisitions in Indonesia with online payments. This convenience can influence Gen Z's interest in paying zakat via digital platforms. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey approach, with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. This research uses a purposive sampling technique with primary data originating from questionnaires distributed to the respondents' criteria in the research. The research results show that the image of the institution (X1) and convenience (X3) influence the interest in paying zakat through digital zakat among Gen Z in Gresik Regency. Zakat literacy (X2) does not influence interest in paying zakat via digital zakat among Gen Z in the Gresik Regency.

Abstract

This analysis is based on previous research that focused more on Sharia operational aspects, such as Sharia-based financial products or the Islamic banking system, while the understanding of compliance with Sharia principles in various industry sectors to support Sustainable Business Performance (SBP) is still limited. This study aims to identify, review, and systematize previous research on the impact of compliance with Sharia principles on SBP. The methodology used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA method with a period of 2020-2024. The results of the study show that compliance with Sharia principles has a significant impact on SBP. Sharia compliance provides an opportunity to build consumer trust, expand access to a wider market, and improve financial resilience and corporate stability, especially through more prudent risk management and the absence of adverse practices.
