Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Collaborative Governance in the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by Bank BRI Jombang Branch as an alternative strategy to enhance financial access. Utilizing the theoretical framework of Ansell and Gash, this study examines how the dimensions of starting conditions, facilitative leadership, and institutional design influence the effectiveness of inter-actor synergy in bridging access gaps that are unreachable through single-actor approaches. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with bank management, village officials, and community leaders, supported by field observations and document analysis. The findings indicate that collaboration effectively mitigates information asymmetry and credit risks through a trust-based "social collateral" mechanism managed by local actors. Empirically, this collaborative intervention successfully reduced community dependence on informal high-interest lenders (moneylenders) significantly from 40% to 10% in the target area, and transformed customer behavior from merely holding passive accounts to becoming active users of productive financial services for micro-business development. It can be concluded that Collaborative Governance has successfully shifted the role of State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) CSR from mere transactional philanthropy to an inclusive strategic empowerment instrument. Nevertheless, this success still faces challenges regarding the discrepancy between rigid banking administrative standards and the simpler economic practices of rural communities, as well as a significant digital literacy gap. This study recommends the adoption of a more adaptive institutional design through the simplification of verification procedures for vulnerable groups and the strengthening of hybrid-model mentoring, to ensure the program remains effective and supports the sustainability of community economic independence in the digital era.

Abstract

Depth perception is a crucial visual ability for humans to judge distance and understand three-dimensional space. However, the brain's distance estimation is not always accurate and is often influenced by external factors such as color. This study aims to examine in depth how orange color influences the acuity of human depth perception. The method applied is a Systematic Literature Review (TLS) by examining 8 research papers from repository data from Google Scholar and ScienceDirect databases ranging from 2007 to 2025. The results show that orange, as part of the warm color spectrum with a long wavelength, significantly creates an advancing color effect that makes objects perceived as closer than cool colors. The main findings reveal that orange provides superior visual acuity in low-light conditions and has a wide stereoscopic disparity range to help the brain map space. In conclusion, the color orange functions as an effective additional visual cue in strengthening spatial perception. The implications of this research are highly relevant for the development of Augmented Reality (AR) technology and visual safety design, where the use of orange can minimize distance estimation errors by users

Abstract

This study focuses on describing the communication conditions and language barriers experienced by Children with Special Needs (CSN) in the language/communication category at MI Nurul Falah III, Tangerang Regency. In addition, the research examines the use of instruments applied to support the improvement of students’ abilities. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through observation and interviews with two students in grades V and VI who exhibited symptoms of aphasia and speech fluency disorders. The findings indicate that both students were able to understand basic instructions but continued to face challenges in fluent speech, appropriate vocabulary selection, comprehension of abstract concepts, and reading comprehension. Interventions provided included speech therapy with a multisensory approach, the use of concrete media, gradual learning, and strategies to enhance focus and concentration. Overall, this study emphasizes that the appropriate selection of language therapy instruments is crucial to supporting the development of communication skills among CSN in inclusive educational settings.

Abstract

Writing skills are a fundamental component of Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level, yet many students experience difficulties in composing descriptive texts due to limited vocabulary, weak text structure, and low engagement in the learning process. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving students’ ability to write descriptive texts about places. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The subjects of the study were 27 sixth-grade students of SDN Selagedang. Data were collected through descriptive writing tests, observation of learning activities, and documentation. The writing test results were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential analysis with a t-test to identify differences in students’ writing ability before and after the implementation of PjBL. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ descriptive writing skills following the application of Project-Based Learning, as indicated by higher posttest scores compared to pretest scores. In addition, classroom observations showed increased student engagement, collaboration, and active participation during the learning process. These results suggest that Project-Based Learning provides meaningful learning experiences by integrating observation, collaboration, and authentic writing tasks. The study implies that PjBL can be an effective alternative instructional model for teaching descriptive writing in elementary schools, as it not only enhances students’ writing outcomes but also fosters active and contextual learning environments.

Abstract

Students often have difficulty understanding the Solar System material given in elementary school science lessons using only conventional methods due to its abstract nature. This study creates and explains the advantages of "3D Solar System" learning materials with interactive puzzles and quizzes for sixth-grade elementary school students using the Qreatif Educative platform. Qualitative research methodology is applied to this type of library research. Scientific articles from the DOAJ and Google Scholar databases are scanned to collect data. After that, content analysis methods such as data reduction, classification, theory synthesis, and drawing conclusions are applied in this paper. The results of this study, the use of 3D media significantly increases students' cognitive interest and understanding because it provides more realistic and detailed visuals compared to 2D media. Qreatif Educative's interactive puzzle and quiz elements have successfully created a fun and engaging learning environment based on the psychological characteristics of elementary school children who like to learn through play. The conclusion of this study is that the "3D Solar System" media is worth considering as a creative alternative to improve the standard of science teaching and make it more interactive and student-centered.

Abstract

English plays an important role in supporting students’ academic learning and future professional practice. In nursing education, students are expected to use English to understand field-related terminology, communicate in learning and clinical contexts, and engage with academic sources relevant to nursing. To support these needs, English instruction is commonly delivered through an English for Specific Purposes (ESP) approach that focuses on language use within the nursing context. Nevertheless, questions remain regarding how far ESP-based instruction responds to the learning difficulties experienced by nursing students. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the English language learning difficulties experienced by undergraduate students in the Nursing Science Program at the University of Bhamada Slawi. This study conducted a descriptive qualitative research design. Data were collected through a learning needs questionnaire and limited interviews involving undergraduate students from the Nursing Science Program at the University of Bhamada Slawi. The findings demonstrate that undergraduate nursing students experience a wide range of English learning difficulties across multiple language skills. These difficulties indicate that students’ English learning needs are diverse and extend beyond general language competence. English is required not only to support students’ current academic activities, such as understanding nursing texts and participating in clinical communication, but also to prepare them for future professional practice in healthcare settings where English is increasingly used. Based on these findings English teachers and curriculum developers are encouraged to design instructional materials and learning activities that align with the academic and professional needs of nursing students.
