Abstract

One of the subjects taught is Social Sciences (IPS). IPS includes the study of social, economic, political, and geographical aspects. The main goal in the learning process is to achieve optimal learning outcomes in social studies subjects. However, students' learning outcomes in social studies are often not as expected. Several factors can cause this, including the lack of relevant and interesting material, ineffective teaching methods, and lack of interaction between students and the material being taught. The method used in this research is the literature study method where this literature study uses several references that can be used as guidelines in preparing articles. The teacher's role is very important in learning, because the teacher is responsible for guiding, planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. The teacher is also one of the determining factors for the success of learning. Therefore, it is important for teachers to integrate learning needs with learning objectives. To make learning easier for students, teachers can use various learning methods to convey subject matter. Using the right method can make it easier for students to acquire knowledge.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the influence of learning media and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of economics subject among students at MAN 2 Pesisir Selatan. Additionally, the study aims to examine the combined effect of learning media and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of economics subject among students at MAN 2 Pesisir Selatan. The research will be conducted in two stages. The first stage involves a preliminary survey to gather data on the population size and sample to be surveyed. In the second stage, the instrument will be piloted, followed by data collection. The chosen research design is descriptive quantitative. Descriptive research aims to present factual and comprehensive characteristics of the population in a systematic manner. The research will utilize experimental method and random sampling to select a sample of 120 students from the entire population of MAN 2 Pesisir Selatan. Data collection will take place in May 2023 using class questionnaires and direct experiments. The results of this study indicate that learning outcomes are influenced by learning media, as indicated by the F-value = 0.000 < 0.05. Further testing of the learning media is shown by the t-value = 0.000 < 0.05. This confirms that the learning outcomes of the economics subject improve when measured against explanatory media. The learning outcomes of the economics subject are influenced by learning motivation, as indicated by the F-value = 0.000 < 0.05. Further motivation tests also show a t-value = 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 90 siswa pada tiga kelompok kelas X MAN 2 Pesisir Selatan yang mengikuti pembelajaran fisika materi fluida statis tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan one group pre-test and post-test design. Pada penelitian ini siswa akan diberikan tes yang sama (pre-test dan post-test) pada ketiga kelompok sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pembelajaran fisika dengan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat peningkatan nilai skor kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada masing-masing kelompok sebesar 5%; 2) rata-rata N-gain kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa tiap kelompok termasuk kategori tinggi; dan 3) rata-rata N-gain ketiga kelompok tidak berbeda.

Abstract

In an educational context, student interest in learning is very important, because high interest will motivate students to learn more enthusiastically and have a positive impact on achieving learning outcomes Role playing is a learning strategy that involves students in imaginary situations where they take on certain roles or characters. related to Social Studies (Social Studies) class IV. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, tests, and documentation. The research instruments were teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets, and evaluation question sheets.

Abstract

In the learning process, teaching sometimes feels boring because the learning that is carried out feels monotonous and boring, especially in social studies learning which discusses history and stories that make students especially students feel sleepy. So the formulation of the problem to be examined is how the learning process can be effective and fun the role of using conventional learning media in the form of walking boxes and valuable stars that can make learning fun and educative. The purpose of this lesson is to make students active and show that social studies learning can be fun. This research method is field research with a descriptive approach qualitative.

Abstract

This study aims 1) to analyze the reasoning of number problems in mathematics books in elementary schools for low and high grades in the 2013 curriculum; 2) To find out what reasoning students use in working on math number problems at the elementary school. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The subject to be investigated in this study is the student book of SDN 101944 Deli Muda, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. The instruments used in this study were test instruments, interviews, observation and documentation. While the data analysis technique in this study is using data analysis techniques from Miles and Huberman. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that based on the results of the research and discussion that has been described in chapter IV, the types of reasoning on number questions in elementary mathematics books can be concluded as follows: 1) The questions given to students for low to high grades are questions - questions that students have studied in the previous lesson in the teaching and learning process (PBM), where 83.3% of the questions are the IR reasoning type and 16.6% of the questions are the CR reasoning type; and 2) 86.58% of the questions given in mathematics books for elementary school students from low to high grades by Grafindo Media Pratama publishers were questions of the IR reasoning type and 13.42% were questions of the CR reasoning type.

Abstract

The low achievement of the Civics curriculum test for fifth grade students at SD No. 2 Great Ruins. This is because students are not interested in learning, do not feel compelled to ask questions or respond to their teacher's questions, and do not interact much with each other or their teacher. The purpose of this research is to improve students' academic achievement. This research is a group-based research known as Participatory Action Research (PAR), which combines elements of planning, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques include administering tests (before and after the fact), making in-depth observations, and keeping detailed records. On the other hand, both qualitative and quantitative approaches to data analysis are used. Information was collected qualitatively through classroom observations (such as observation notes, teacher activities, and students' participation in class exercises) and quantitative information through tests of the material being studied. The results of this study showed that student learning outcomes increased, with an average value of 70.9% and an average percentage of 70% for student learning outcomes in Cycle I and an average value of 77.4% and an average percentage of 70% for student. learning outcomes in Cycle II respectively.

Abstract

Filosofi model pembelajaran kooperatif Group Investigation adalah konstruktivisme, yang dalam proses pembelajarannya bukanlah transfer pengetahuan dari guru kepada siswa, melainkan siswa itu sendiri yang secara aktif menemukan sesuatu dan membangun pengetahuannya sendiri, bukan proses mekanis untuk mengumpulkan fakta. Siswa bertanggung jawab atas hasil belajar. Siswa membuat penalaran dari apa yang mereka pelajari dengan cara menemukan makna, membandingkannya dengan apa yang sudah diketahui, dan menyelesaikan ketidaksamaan antara apa yang sudah diketahui dan apa yang dibutuhkan dalam pengalaman baru.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghilangkan mitos tentang pendidikan Islam yang berpusat pada ketiga istilah yaitu tarbiyah, ta’lim, dan juga ta’dib. Namun jika dikatakn mana yang paling penting antara ketiganya maka semuanya sangat penting. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi kasus, yaitu dengan membaca dan menganalisis beberapa artikel pilihan dengan topik pendidikan Islam. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada kesamaan antara tarbiyah, ta'lim, dan ta'dib, dan landasan tersebut adalah pendidikan. Satu-satunya perbedaan nyata di antara mereka adalah penekanan pada kata-kata individual.

Abstract

This thesis aimed to describe the study of morphological process in the elaboration of the lexical free morpheme contained in the poem A Lover's Complaint by William Shakespeare. This research is motivated by the researcher's interest because the researcher takes this poem as the title of the thesis because it is one of the best Shakespeare love poems and its simple themes of the dangers of love so other people will be aware and understand the dangers of loving others especially women. From the morpheme that the author chose, there are 41 data for each row. 33 nouns lexical free morpheme, 18 nouns lexical bound morpheme, 19 verbs lexical free and bound morpheme, 23 adjectives lexical free morpheme, 5 adjectives lexical bound morpheme, 10 adverbs lexical free morpheme and 3 adverbs lexical bound morpheme. This research used qualitative methods and the purpose of this research was to be useful tool in implementing the researcher's knowledge of diction in a kind of lexical free morpheme in poetry.
