Abstract

This research aims to explain research findings regarding the role of parents in instilling character values ??in children and the way families and people behave in educating children. Apart from that, this method can help families improve the relationship between parents and children in the family environment. This research is qualitative research that uses descriptive analysis to determine the role of counseling in improving parent-child relationships in the family environment. Research results are summarized based on research focus. According to research, the first is the cause of family conflict between parents and children, the second is the family counseling process, the first research is the cause of family conflict between parents and children, the second is the family counseling process which can identify basic problems in the relationship between parents and children, third namely the counseling approach most commonly used to improve the relationship between parents and children and finally the family counseling process which can help improve communication between parents and children.

Abstract

Simple past tense is an action or activity carried out by a subject in the past. Past tense refers to actions in the past and tells us all about their relationship with the present. The purpose of this research is to know types and causes of error on simple past tense. To know dominant error on the use of simple past tense in writing narrative text. To find out difficulties faced by students in comprehending simple past tense and narrative text. The researcher adopts a descriptive qualitative method. Carried out by gathering data from the natural environment without altering the situation. Data of this research is error made by students in written test of past tense. Data source is a writing test with the theme “My Holiday”. It consists of 55 words or more. Tests are distributed to 16 students of SMK SW YPK MEDAN. The researcher found 116 errors from writing test that the researcher carried out, it was found that the highest frequency of error that students made was mis formation about 78.45% errors, omission was 12.93% errors, selection was 5.17% errors, addition was 2.59% the last was mis ordering with 0.86%. the researcher also found that the highest error was caused by intralingual and the second highest was caused by interference.

Abstract

Francis Bacon, as the father of the modern scientific method, emphasized the importance of experience, experimentation, and observation in the acquisition of knowledge. His empirical philosophy, outlined in Novum Organum, has significant relevance in the context of arts education. This study aims to explore how Bacon's principles particularly those related to experimentation, observation, and the elimination of biases can be applied in arts education to enrich the teaching and learning process. The research employs a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis of Bacon's works and literature related to arts education. The findings suggest that arts education based on direct experience and experimentation allows students to develop practical skills, as well as critical and innovative thinking. This approach encourages students to view art as a continuous process, where exploration and new discoveries are always possible, in line with Bacon's view that knowledge is an endless journey. Therefore, Bacon's philosophy provides a strong foundation for creating a more dynamic, open, and creativity-focused approach to arts education.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to know whether the effect of use Realia Media on students vocabulary knowledge at the fourth grade of elementary at HikmatulSalridho. Based on the statement above, this research used experimental design of collecting data, the class that will be tested is divided into two classes, class A and class B, class A as control class and class B as Experimental class. The experimental group is the group that will be a measured of whether the test is successful or not using realia media, while the control group is considered without using realia media. Based on the statement beside, the researcher choose the population of class IV students at Hikmatul Salridho School. Where, the first class was students of class IV – A (as experimental groups) and IV – B (as control group) of the MIS Hikmatul Salridho School. After analyzing the results of the research, the researcher obtained data about the scores of the teaching and learning process using Realia Media. The researcher concluded that there was any significant effect of applying was proved by the results of the pre-test scores before giving the treatment. And it can be seen that the results of the statistical calculations above where the value of (to) is higher than (tt). The researcher also found there were some difficulties in students' vocabulary by applying Realia Media, especially in remember the vocabulary. The Realia Media are very interested to be implemented to improve vocabullary skills. The researcher found that there is always improvement in the learning. It’s mean that the implementation of Realia Media to improve students’ vocabulary skills can make students more actived, motivated, and interested. From the explanation above, it means that teaching learning process by using Realia Media can improve students’ ability in English vocabulary skill.

Abstract

This research is motivated to find out the importance of strengthening national identity as a pillar of the country. The meaning of national identity itself is the identity or characteristics of a country that can distinguish it from other countries. The purpose of this study is to make readers aware that our country's national identity is very important. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a technique of interviewing collaboration between the community and students. In conclusion, based on the results of observations from a viewpoint related to the Importance of Strengthening National Identity as a Pillar of the State, the public and students will understand that it is very important to know the national identity of our country. The community and students can apply it in education, family and in daily life.

Abstract

Pancasila sebagai dasar negara Republik Indonesia memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa. Namun, dalam era globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi yang pesat, nilai-nilai Pancasila memilki dua sisi negatif dan positif karena dari sila pertama sampai sila akhir sudah di jelaskan tentang persatua indonesia, keadilan dan sangat amat di butuhkan pada saat era saat ini, karena pembelajaran pancasila sudah mulai menurun dan tidak di terapkan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Abstract

Ilmu pengetahuan merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan setiap individu, terutama bagi umat Islam. Agama Islam mewajibkan setiap Muslim untuk menuntut ilmu, baik itu yang bersifat fardhu 'ain (kewajiban pribadi) maupun fardhu kifayah (kewajiban yang cukup dilaksanakan oleh sebagian orang). Ilmu yang termasuk dalam kategori fardhu 'ain adalah ilmu yang terkait langsung dengan ibadah mahdhah, seperti ilmu tentang shalat, puasa, zakat, dan haji. Sementara itu, ilmu yang bersifat fardhu kifayah mencakup berbagai bidang pengetahuan lainnya seperti ilmu warisan, falak, matematika, dan ilmu pengetahuan alam lainnya. Kesuksesan dalam kehidupan duniawi maupun ukhrawi sangat bergantung pada pemahaman dan penguasaan ilmu. Oleh karena itu, kewajiban untuk menuntut ilmu berlaku secara mutlak bagi setiap Muslim, baik laki-laki maupun perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pentingnya pendidikan dan pemahaman ilmu dalam kehidupan seorang Muslim untuk meraih kesuksesan di dunia dan akhirat, serta untuk mempertegas peran ilmu dalam memperkaya pemahaman agama dan kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Intrinsic motivation plays an important role in encouraging individuals to grow both personally and professionally in order to achieve their desired careers. This study aims to explore the representation of intrinsic motivation as portrayed by the character Rara in the film 'Imperfect' in the process of career development and audience perception. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this research provides in-depth observations on how intrinsic motivation plays a crucial role in the formation of professional identity, resilience in facing external pressure, and success in developing an authentic career. The character Rara is depicted as an individual whose physical appearance does not meet beauty standards, who constantly faces discrimination, and struggles with low self-esteem. Rara's intrinsic motivation is evident in her career development, where the drive to change and improve her quality comes from internal needs. Her decision to change her appearance to attain a managerial position is based on a personal desire to prove her abilities and gain recognition for her competence as well as achieve self-growth. Intrinsic motivation can clash with workplace norms when personal values conflict with organizational expectations. Through the film, viewers are introduced to the importance of intrinsic motivation in shaping an authentic career journey and social criticism regarding beauty standards. This research shows that the role of visual media, such as film, plays a crucial role in shaping society's understanding of intrinsic motivation, providing an opportunity to educate viewers about the importance of intrinsic motivation in career development.

Abstract

Leadership is a crucial factor in the context of education, particularly in areas with limited resources. This study aims to comprehensively and in-depth describe the leadership style used by the teacher character in the film Laskar Pelangi. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with in-depth observation of scenes, dialogues, and character behavior as the main data sources. The results show that the leadership style displayed in the film is transformational and humanistic, characterized by motivation, empowerment, individual attention, and active collaboration between teachers and students. This leadership has a positive impact on the development of character and enthusiasm for learning among students despite limitations. Furthermore, this leadership style is aligned with the principle of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 16, which emphasizes fair leadership and the ability to build trust for social and educational progress. This study strengthens the understanding that effective leadership is the art of motivating and inspiring in facing educational challenges. For further research, it is recommended to examine the influence of this leadership model in the real educational context in the field using mixed methods to strengthen the validity of the results.

Abstract

Leadership research is not only relevant within organizational contexts but also important to study within the family environment. The film 1 Kakak 7 Ponakan presents an interesting family leadership dynamic that can be analyzed, particularly through the role of Moko as a parental figure substitute. The purpose of this study is to explore how family leadership is represented by Moko and to examine its relevance to the transformational leadership approach. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a narrative approach, conducted through direct observation of key scenes depicting interactions between Moko and his seven nieces and nephews. The findings reveal that Moko prioritizes the family's interests above his own, even sacrificing his personal ambitions for the future of his nieces and nephews. He is also able to motivate, set an example, and foster a sense of togetherness through strong emotional bonds. Moko’s leadership reflects transformational aspects such as sacrifice, shared vision, and the development of collective awareness within the family. These findings contribute significantly to leadership studies by demonstrating that transformational leadership values are not only relevant in organizations but can also be applied in everyday family life.
