Abstract

Cooking oil is one of the ingredients needed by the community, especially house wives and made from oi lpalm. Free fatty acids are not separated from cooking oil which causes bad effects on humans. This study aims to determine the levels of free fatty acids (FFA) in packagedcookingoilandbulkcookingoilbytreatmentbasedonheatingtime .This study uses the sample used in this study, bulk cooking oil taken from the markets of Mojosongo, Surakarta and 3 samples of packaged cooking oil which are sold in Surakarta Supermarket in January 2019. This research method uses acid base titration. The time used for analysisis 0 ', 15', 30 ', 45', 60 ', 75'at 160 and compares the levels with the Cooking Oil Quality Standards .The results of this study indicate the levels of free fatty acids in cooking oil, sample A heating to 0,1,2,3 was 0,16%; 0,20%; 0,22%; 0,25% according to SNI while heating to 4, 5 was 0,33%; 0,40% did not meet SNI standards. Sample B warmed up to 0,1,2,3,4,5 which were 0,12%; 0,14%; 0,15%; 0,17%; 0,21%; 0,24%, Sample C warmed up to 0,1,2,3,4,5 which were 0,12%; 0,16%; 0,19%; 0,21%; 0,22%; 0,24%; Sample D warms up to 0,1,2, 3,4,5 whichwere 0,12%; 0,14%; 0,16%; 0,18%; 0,21%; 0,24% according to the Cooking Oil Quality Standards.

Abstract

Temulawak herbal whitening cream is one of the herbal whitening creams containing curcumin rhizome extract containing curcumin, demetoksikurkumin and bidemetoksikurkumin which can reduce hyperpigmentation (the skin becomes too dark). Mercury is a dangerous metal that in even small concentrations can be toxic. The use of mercury in whitening creams can cause a variety of things, ranging from changes in skin color which will eventually cause black spots on the skin, allergies, skin irritation and can be carcinogenic. The results of the study qualitatively indicated that sample A was positive containing mercury marked by an orange-red precipitate. Quantitatively, using Mercury Analyzer in sample A, the levels of mercury were 7,470.52 mg / kg or 7,470.52 ppm. The conclusions indicate that sample A is inappropriate or should not be used because it contains more than 1 mg / kg or 1 ppm of mercury.

Abstract

Tofu is a food product in the form of soft solids made through soy processing. Formalin is a clear liquid that is colorless or almost colorless with a pungent odor, its vapors stimulate the mucous membranes of the nose and throat, formalin is a dangerous, poisonous and carcinogenic substance which is usually added to food as a preservative. This research was conducted to determine the levels of formalin in white tofu sold in traditional markets X. This research was conducted with a qualitative test using Schiff reagents and quantitative tests with Visible Spectrophotometry at a wavelength of 410 nm. The results of the study qualitatively showed that the samples tested positive contained formalin with a change in color to pink. The results of Visible Spectrophotometry readings for formalin standard solutions obtained linear regression y = 0.0537x + 0.0134 with a correlation coefficient (r2) of 0.9995. The results of formaldehyde in sample A were 23.41 mg / kg, sample B 26.57 mg / kg, sample C 58.02 mg / kg, sample D 41.71 mg / kg, and sample E were 90.35 mg / kg kg

Abstract

Mahkota Dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa (Scheff.) Boerl) is an effectiveplant against bacteria the causes of acne. To facilitate the application, it formulated in a peel off gel mask preparation. This study aims to determine the effect of the concentration of PVA as film forming and HPMC as a gelling agent on the physical properties of the peel off gel mask and determine the concentration of PVA and HPMC which produce the optimum formula. The Mahkota Dewa fruit was extracted by soxletation with ethanol 70%. The extract was made into 5 runs with variations in the concentration of PVA (10-16%) and HPMC (2-4%). The fifth run in the test of physical properties include organoleptic tests, homogenity, pH, viscosity, spreadability, adhesion and drying time. The optimum formula of peel off gel mask is obtained from software design expert version 6.0.8. simplex lattice design method with the studied response to viscosity, spreadability, and drying time. The results show that increasing the concentration of PVA can increase viscosity and drying time, and increasing the concentration of HPMC can increase the value of dispersion of the preparation. The optimum formula was obtained with a variation of PVA 13.09% and HPMC of 2.97%.

Abstract

Optimizing the implementation of the referral program is one of BPJS 'top programs. BPJS Health implements a referral program based on Medication Therapy Management. Medication therapy management interventions can reduce the frequency of drug-related problems, including non-compliance, and reduce health care costs. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the readiness of pharmacists in providing medication therapy management services This research uses a descriptive method by using a questionnaire as an instrument for data retrieval. The sampling technique is convenience sampling. The population is pharmacists who practice pharmaceutical services and are willing to fill out questionnaires. The result most pharmacists feel they have enough clinical knowledge and experience to provide MTM services. There are still many pharmacist workplaces (Puskesmas, Pharmacies and hospitals) that have not yet prepared to provide MTM services. Pharmacists think they have a desire to provide MTM services and have sufficient access to information in designing appropriate MTM services and pharmacists should be involved in providing MTM services. The obstacles faced by pharmacists in providing MTM services are insufficient time, insufficient human resources, limited space, limited information regarding MTM services, and the costs needed to implement MTM. Pharmacists are willing to provide Medication Therapy Management services but many obstacles remain. Training is needed so that pharmacists become more confident in providing clinical services
