Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the critical thinking skills of children who are taught with the learning model inquiry with audio-visual and based on Science Process Skills, as well as the interaction between the two models with the child's Science Process Skills level in influencing the improvement of students' critical thinking skills. The research was carried out at the Nurul Hasanah Private Elementary School in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The sample in this study consisted of classes VA and VC which were taken by purposive sampling class. The VA class as an experimental class was taught using an Audio Visual-based inquiry learning model, while the control class was taught using a direct learning model, the VC class was chosen. The type of research used in this research is quasi-experimental. The research design used is Posttest Only Control Design. Based on the results of the analysis and research findings from the field, several conclusions were obtained which were the answers to the questions in the problem formulation

Abstract

Based on law no. 2 of 2003 concerning the national education system where early childhood education needs stimulation to assist physical and spiritual growth and development in entering further education. One of them is by stimulating children's cognitive development by counting early. In this case, one of the efforts that can be made by teachers is to modify the textbooks given to early childhood by providing lots of interesting pictures and colors so that children will be more interested in learning and will understand more about counting. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) and is carried out on TK-B students with a total of 26 students. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation, data analysis, data presentation, data interpretation, and reflection in the form of qualitative descriptive research with indicators used, namely sorting numbers 1-15, counting pictures, and rewriting numbers according to the modification of the illustrated textbook that has been designed. The research was conducted in two cycles where each cycle consisted of three meetings. In cycle 1, it has not reached the optimal indicator limit, which is below 75% for all materials. However, in cycle 2, the success indicators have been set so that the researchers stopped this research in cycle 2. Where the success rate for sorting numbers 1-15 has reached 77%, counting images has reached 84.6% and rewriting numbers has reached 92.3. %. and rewrite the numbers according to the modification of the illustrated textbook that has been designed. Abstract

This study aims to describe the validity, feasibility, and effectiveness of the LKPD Mathematics based on a scientific approach to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This research is research & development. While the research design used is a 4D Thiagarajan study. The research subjects were conducted to fourth grade teachers and 27 fourth grade students, as well as three validator experts. Data was collected by means of questionnaires, tests, and interviews. Based on the results of material expert validation, an average score of 87.96% was obtained, then the learning design expert validation obtained an average score of 95.31%, and linguist validation obtained an average score of 93.75%. When viewed from the number of three expert validators, an average score of 92.34% was obtained with the LKPD category being very valid and feasible to use. While the results of the student response questionnaire based on small group trials and field trials obtained an average score of 94.95% with a very good category. To find out the improvement of students' mathematical problem solving, the researchers gave pre-test and post-test questions. From the results of the pre-test and post-test, it can be seen that there is an increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The students' pre-test results obtained an average of 54.28% and the post-test results obtained an average of 73.33%. Based on the n-gain score assessment criteria, the effectiveness of the Mathematics LKPD based on a scientific approach obtained a value of 0.41, a score range of 0.3 g <0.7 was classified in the medium criteria. This shows that the LKPD Mathematics based on a scientific approach is effective in improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities

Class determination for the application of the learning model was determined by group A consisting of 27 students for classes taught using the Problem Based Learning model through home visits, and group B consisting of 27 students for classes taught using the Problem Based Learning model through google classroom. The research instrument used a multiple-choice learning outcome test with 25 questions and a student learning motivation instrument in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 40 items that were declared valid and reliable. Data analysis using two-way Anova. The results showed that (1) the learning outcomes of PPKn Education students who were taught using the Problem Based Learning model through home visits were higher than the Problem Based Learning model through the Google Classroom; (2) PPKn learning outcomes of students who have high learning motivation are higher than students who have low learning motivation; (3) There is an interaction between the learning model and learning motivation in influencing student PPKn learning outcomes.
