Abstract

Improving learning outcomes through the PBL model by identifying and comparing daily practices in the material of Jesus preaching the kingdom of God in class IV UPTD SDN 071075 Hiligara, Gunung Sitoli City. Classroom Action Research Report. This research aims to (1) find out how the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can increase students' learning motivation on the material that Jesus preached the kingdom of God through parables in class IV UPTD SDN 071075 Hiligara, Gunungsitoli City. (2) knowing how the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can increase students' learning motivation on the material on the Miracles of Jesus in class IV UPTD SDN 071075 Hiligara, Gunungsitoli City (3) Looking for the right solution to overcome the obstacles faced by teachers in learning (4) ) Improve students' skills in solving daily life problems. The research subjects were Class IV students of UPTD SD Negeri 071075 Hiligara, Gunungsitoli City. The research object is that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning outcomes. The form of this research is classroom action research with a cyclical model, each cycle consists of four stages, namely, planning, implementing action, observing and reflecting. At the observation stage, the researcher collects data by observing student activities guided by the Pancasila Student Profile rubric ( P3) through the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model. The observation results from 6 students in Cycle I averaged 71%, and in Cycle II it increased to an average of 81%. The learning outcomes in cycle I averaged 75.54%, and in cycle II increased to an average of 86.37%. From this increase, it can be seen that it is 10.83% higher than before.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Catholic Religious Education Lessons at SMP Negeri 10 Surakarta shows a decline in student learning outcomes. These obstacles are related to the lack of adaptation of learning methods and teacher innovation in adopting curriculum changes, which has an impact on learning which tends to be teacher-centred. To overcome this problem, classroom action research was conducted by applying the discovery learning model and audio-visual assistance in phase D. This research, through two face-to-face cycles, showed a significant increase in students' cognitive and affective learning outcomes. In the cognitive aspect, there was an increase in understanding of the material from 55.5% in cycle I to 66.6% in cycle II. There were no students belonging to the newly developing category in both cycles. Meanwhile, affective learning results showed an increase in students' devout attitudes from 33.3% in cycle I to 66.6% in cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the discovery learning model with audio visual assistance is effective in improving learning outcomes and students' devotion to Catholic Religious Education material at SMP Negeri 10 Surakarta.

Abstract

The background to this research arises from the low level of critical reasoning of students at SMPN 5 Kelam Permai. Overcoming this problem requires a learning approach that can stimulate students' critical reasoning during the learning process. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) has proven to be effective in developing students' critical thinking skills through problem solving. The aim of this research is to improve students' critical reasoning and achieve learning targets in class VII SMPN 5 Kelam Permai through PBL. This research uses quantitative methods. The results of observations in cycle 1 showed that students' critical reasoning level was 69%, with learning achievement targets including 4 proficient students, 5 proficient students, and 1 adequate student. In cycle 2, there was a significant increase with the average critical reasoning of students reaching 80.5%. Learning achievement targets include 6 proficient students, 3 proficient students, and 1 decent student. The implications of these findings indicate that PBL is effective in increasing students' critical reasoning and learning ACHIEVEMENT targets. Implementing PBL can be a useful strategy for improving critical reasoning and student learning achievement targets.

Abstract

. At school, Catholic Religious Education (PAK) is one of the religious subjects expected to develop students' critical, logical, and systematic thinking abilities and demonstrate their objective, neutral nature. Be realistic and disciplined in solving everyday problems. However, in school, teachers tend to consider transmitting information as the most important activity in learning activities. This situation becomes problematic when in learning, students must actively participate and interact with the environment. However, for this reason, the realities that researchers experience in class are among the factors that influence students' low learning ability, including: The learning process is too theoretical theory and memorization in all subjects, therefore, Students are less interested or motivated to learn because they feel bored, lazy and the impact of this on these students is that they are poor. Be proactive and creative in developing thinking skills and skills to overcome problems encountered, thereby affecting the learning atmosphere. Is passive and includes students' own reasoning, they will be less successful in their studies. Independent curriculum learning uses problem-based learning, this learning model is an alternative solution to improve student learning outcomes in PAK subjects. Abstract

This research is a classroom action research with Quantitative research method conducted with two cycles. This classroom action research consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely. planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection. These two cycles were carried out with the aim of knowing PAKat learning outcomes and students' independent thinking motivation.The stages of activities in the form of planning, implementation, observation, analysis, and reflection are carried out face-to-face. Round 1 consisted of two meetings, namely. the first meeting as a discussion of learning objectives and the second meeting as a formative assessment. The procedures and steps of this research followed the principles applied in PTK.The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Tumbang Titi through classroom learning. The subjects in this study were students of class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Tumbang Titi in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 school year, totaling 20 students. The research was conducted using the PBL model with the help of Video. Specifically on the material "Hierarchy in the Church". It is expected that students will be able to understand the "Hierarchy in the Church", as the basis for the call to participate in the pastoral work of the Church. By still paying attention to respect for other religions and beliefs. In addition, to create harmonious inter-religious relations in a pluralistic Indonesian society for the realization of national unity.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to improve the students’ activeness in developing their critical thinking, in the field of Catholic Education and Character in Vocational High School 1 Muara Teweh which uses Problem Based Learning. The research is done in two cycles which include the stages of planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection. Moreover, the subject of the research is the students of phase F, grade XI with the subject of Catholic Education and Character. Then, the instruments of the research are observation sheet of students’ activities, students’ academic achievement test, and students’ questionnaires. Finally, the research shows that the implementation of Problem Based Learning can improve students’ learning activities and the result of learning in the case of Liturgia. At the end of teaching learning process, students’ activities increase 15%. Furthermore, the result of survey also shows that the students have positive feedback in implementing Problem Based Learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that Problem Based Learning is effective to be used to improve students’ learning activities and the result of learning in the subject of Catholic Education and Character.

Abstract

The low interest of students in thematic learning is because students do not know how to solve problems or issues related to learning material. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the problem-based learning model can increase students' interest and learning outcomes. The population in this study were twelve grade students at SMK N 1 Tamiang Layang with a total of 18 students. The type of research used was classroom action research. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and tests. The data used is in the form of quantitative data in the form of interest in learning questionnaire results and students' written test results. Data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative. Based on the research conducted, it was found that interest in learning in cycle I with a low category reached 17%, medium 61% and high reached 0% increased in cycle II with a low category reaching 0%, medium 11% and high reaching 89%. Likewise, the learning outcomes in the first cycle reached 67% incomplete and 33% of the total students passed the KKM (≥75) incomplete and reached 11% incomplete and reached 89% complete in cycle II. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is effective in increasing interest in learning and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The teacher is one of the main components that really determines the success of the teaching and learning process. Thus, teachers should create the right situations and conditions to enable the learning process in students by directing all resources and using appropriate teaching and learning strategies, which include approaches, methods and learning techniques. To overcome the low learning achievement of students, researchers conducted Classroom Action Research on class XII SMKN Catering Services students. 1 Simanindo by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by YouTube. This research aims to improve learning achievement and critical reasoning abilities in students. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of several stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of tests and observations, with a descriptive approach. The results of the research increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2. In cycle 1 there were still students in the appropriate category in the learning achievement variable and the category began to develop in the critical reasoning variable, then entering cycle 2 there was an increase with no students in the appropriate category in learning achievement variable, and categories began to develop on the critical reasoning variable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve student activeness and learning outcomes through the application of problem-based learning (PBL) learning models.The type of research used is PTK. The subject of research of students of grade IV. Data collection techniques use tests, observation data, activeness assessment rubrics. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive, quantitative and qualitative. The results of the study on learning activity in the precycle (64.87%) 10 inactive students in cycle I increased to (24.32%) 9 students were quite active and in cycle II increased to (83.78%) 14 students who were active. Meanwhile, precycle learning outcomes showed completeness of (41%) 10 students completed then increased in cycle 1 to (54%), 14 students completed and (81%) 14 students completed in cycle II. Thus, through the application of the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model, it can increase the activeness and learning outcomes of grade IV students of SDN 16 Menawai Tekam.

Abstract

Concern about student learning outcomes in affective and cognitive aspects is urgent in efforts to raise a young generation with noble and religious morals. The problem of low learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Education which has not yet reached the target of student learning completeness and low moral aspects in humans is a concern. This research was designed to overcome this problem by applying the Discovery Learning learning model. This model emphasizes the active role of students in learning, with the teacher acting as a facilitator. The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in affective aspects, especially morals, and cognitive aspects. This research is classroom action research designed in two cycles, with data collection through observation, interviews, documentation and tests. Indicators of observing morals in humans include 1) Identifying similarities with other people; 2) Make it happen in group activities; 3) Recognize various possible interpretations; 4) Viewing things from other people's perspectives; 5) Identify the goodness and strengths of the people around you. The achievement targets in this research are: 10% Developing According to Expectations and 90% Very Developing. Meanwhile, the cognitive aspect assessment achievement indicators include 90-100 = Proficient, 80-89 = Proficient, 65-79 = Adequate, 0-64 = Medium, with an achievement target of 10% Adequate, 90% Proficient. The results of the research show that the Discovery Learning Model in Catholic Religious Education learning is proven to be able to increase the dimensions of faith, devotion to God Almighty, and noble character in the matter of living in the Holy Spirit, namely from cycle 1 to 2 by 28% and the target achievement and learning achievement values ​​of students in cycle I from 75% adequate, 25% proficient, 0% proficient in cycle II to 75% proficient and 25% proficient. Finally, this research suggests using the Discovery Learning model as an effort to improve the Pancasila Student Profile in the learning process.
