Abstract

The results of observations regarding student creativity in teaching and learning activities at UPTD SD Negeri 076716 Lolohia Nias Barat, especially in the subjects of Catholic Religious Education and Character Education, are very lacking, as well as learning outcomes that have not reached the predetermined target, only 55% have completed the KKM. The aim of this research is to improve creative and cognitive aspects by applying the Discovery Learning phase C learning method for class 5 UPTD SD Negeri 076716 Lolohia Nias Barat. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) consists of 4 stages, namely, planning, implementation, evaluation, reflection and 2 cycles. The research subjects were 6 Class 5 Face C students. Obtaining data: 1) observation with indicators of observing the creative aspect of the Pancasila Student Profile (P3): generating original ideas, clarifying statements, asking many questions, seeing things from different perspectives, applying ideas according to the context and coming up with various alternative solutions, and 2) material learning outcomes test with achievement targets of 40% proficient, 40% proficient, 20 adequate, 0% just developing. The research results showed: There was an increase in the creative aspect of P3 from cycle 1, an average of 55.6% with the developing category, cycle 2 with an average of 91.00% in the very developing category. In terms of learning achievement, there has been an increase in the number of achievement targets from proficient 40% to 60%, proficient 40% to 40%. Suggestion: in the process of teaching and learning activities, teachers should apply a variety of learning methods and plan one dimension of the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this Classroom Action Research is to determine and measure the increase or not of the improvement or not of grade II students of SDN 173524 Balige, Balige District, Toba Regency, North Sumatra Province with the Discovery Learning Method. The subjects of the study were 6 grade II students of SDN 173524 Balige, consisting of 4 men and 2 women. The object of research is the results of learning and independent students in the study of Catholic Religion and Ethics in the material of teaching module 1 "Jesus Offered in the Temple" and increasing in teaching module 2 "Jesus Found in the Temple". With data collection techniques are observation, documentation and tests. The results showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes and independence of Class II students on the material "Jesus Offered in the Temple" by applying the Discovery Learning method in cycle II of the material "Jesus Found in the Temple". The increase in learning and independent outcomes is evidenced by the average score of independent improvement in cycle I is 60.5% and in cycle II it increases by 25% which is 85.5%. And the increase in learning outcomes in cycle 1 was 67% and in cycle II it increased by 27% which is 94%.

Abstract

Herlina Bong. The objectives of this Class Action Research are a). To determine the improvement of learning outcomes through the Discovery Learning model for grade II Phase A students of SD Negeri Lebo. b). To determine the increase in the dimension of mutual assistance through the Discovery Learning model for grade II Phase A students of SD Negeri Lebo. c). To determine the increase in achievement targets through the Discovery Learning model for grade II Phase A students of SD Negeri Lebo. Action Research class consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of the study were grade II students of SD Negeri Lebo totaling 6 people, consisting of 2 men and 4 women. The object of research is the result of learning and the mutual assistance of students in the study of Catholic Religion and Ethics on the material "The Story of Isaac and Jacob". With data collection techniques are tests, observation and documentation. From the results of the analysis, it was obtained that the learning outcomes and mutual assistance attitudes of students have increased from cycle I to cycle II, that is, for cycle I learning outcomes, no one has entered the proficient category. Many students fall into the category of capable (2 people = 33%) and worthy (4 people = 67%). In cycle II many students fall into the proficient category (4 people = 67%) and proficiency criteria (2 people = 33%), while for the attitude of mutual assistance in cycle I (63.5%) and in cycle II it reaches (89.5%). The conclusion of this study is that the discovery learning model can improve PAKat learning outcomes and phase A mutual cooperation attitudes of SD Negeri Lebo.

Abstract

Student academic result is one of indicators that shows the success or failure of implementing the learning process at school. To obtain maximum student academic result, various efforts have been made, such as changing the curriculum which emerges new learning models in the learning process such as Problem Based Learning (PBL), Inquiry, Project Based Learning and so on.This research is aimed to determine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning learning model on improving student academic result. This research uses a quantitative approach with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects of this research were 28 catholic’s students in 3rd grade of SD Negeri 155710 Lobutua 1. This research was held at SD Negeri 155710 Lobutua 1, Central Tapanuli, North Sumatra. This research was held in two cycles with different learning topics.The results of this research indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning model in the learning process of Catholic Religious Education subjects both in cycle I and cycle II can improve the learning outcomes of 3rd grade students at SD Negeri No. 155710, Lobutua 1 with the significance value for each cycle are sig. 0.00 (F = 90.812) and sig. 0.00 (F = 89.787). The percentage increase in student academic result in each cycle are 40.75% and 36.84%.

Abstract

Humans, who are living creatures with intelligence, have the potential to continue to develop. One way of human development is through education. Education for humanity is an absolute need that must be fulfilled throughout life. With education, humans can broaden their insight, be creative, prosperous, happy and be free from being left behind by the increasingly developing times. One of the education children receive is Catholic religious education at school. Studying Catholic Religious Education encourages students to become believers who are able to live and realize their faith in everyday life. In achieving the goals of Catholic religious education, a teacher must have skills in teaching, make careful plans and actively increase knowledge and experience in carrying out his duties. The success of learning depends on the teacher's success in activating students through the teaching and learning process which is supported by educational facilities and infrastructure, appropriate learning models and curriculum. The independent curriculum gives educators the freedom to create quality learning that suits students' needs and learning environment. The independent curriculum emphasizes the Pancasila student profile. In this classroom action research, the researcher focuses on the dimension of having faith in God Almighty and having noble morals and the dimension of critical reasoning. In the process of implementing Catholic religious education, a teacher often encounters problems, for example students are less active in the Catholic religious education learning process, students lack understanding of a concept and low student learning outcomes. There are many factors that cause low student learning outcomes, for example inappropriate learning models, lack of student involvement, the learning process is still teacher-centered and low student interest in reading PAK textbooks. Based on the problems above, teachers can provide meaningful learning experiences by designing the learning process. The learning model that can be applied is Discovery Learning. The use of the Discovery Learning model according to syntax includes providing stimulation, problem statement/identification, data collection, data processing. proof (verification), drawing conclusions/generalization (generalization). The objectives of this research are (1) To find out how to improve student learning outcomes through Discovery Learning for Class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Sibolga. (2) Knowing the increase in achievement targets through the Discovery Learning model in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 6 Sibolga. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this research use tests, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is comparative descriptive, namely comparing the test scores for action 1 and the test scores after action 2 and then reflecting on them. The research results can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model can improve learning outcomes for class VIII Catholic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 6 Sibolga. This is mainly because through the discovery learning model students learn directly to find new understanding through learning activities designed with various sources. The interaction and communication between teachers and students and communication between students really supports learning activities.

Abstract

Catholic Religious Education is a field of study that provides teaching about how to behave and act and have adequate knowledge and skills for students, especially Class III students at SD N 155675 Tapian Nauli 3C in living their lives according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. In the context of the Independent Curriculum which emphasizes the Pancasila student profile, researchers emphasize the dimension of independence which is based on the importance of forming strong character and mental attitudes in each student, especially in facing complex global challenges. One learning model that can be applied is Problem Based Learning (PBL) or problem-based learning. The objectives of the research include (1) to determine whether video and image media using the PBL model in class III of SD N 155675 Tapian Nauli 3C Tap-Teng can increase students' learning motivation, (2) to determine the increase in student learning outcomes in PAK lessons in class III SD N 155675 Tapian Nauli 3C Tap-Teng using image and video media. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The analysis and data collection techniques used are by examining data available from various sources, namely; questionnaires, interviews, observations and observation sheets that have been recorded, reported and documented, including tests, portfolios and score lists and have three components, namely: a. Data presentation. b. Data reduction c. Drawing conclusions. From the problems found, the author concludes that through image and video media, student learning outcomes can be improved every time a formative test is held. This research uses two cycles of classroom action research. The target of this research is class III students at SD N 155675 Tapian Nauli 3C. Data was obtained from the results of formative tests, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning outcomes had increased from pre-cycle to cycle II after using Image and Video Media. The research implementation process showed good changes in student learning outcomes. The level of achievement of student learning outcomes in pre-cycle class III was (33.33%), after conducting research in cycle I, completeness of class III learning (50%), and in cycle II, completeness of class III learning (91.67%). So, the conclusion of this research is that using Image and Video Media can improve the learning outcomes of class III students at SD N 155675 Tapian Nauli 3C, and using Image and Video Media is an alternative that can be used to achieve more satisfactory student learning outcomes. .

Abstract

Abstract. The Problem Based Learning learning model is a learning method that is triggered by problems, which encourages students to learn and work cooperatively in groups to obtain solutions, think critically and analytically, and be able to determine and use appropriate learning resources. This research is classroom action research in the application of the Problem Based Learning Model with the help of Audio Visual Media. The aim of the research is to describe the Problem Based Learning learning model to improve student learning outcomes and mutual cooperation attitudes in Phase A class II at SDN Slembaran Surakarta. The research procedure follows the PTK flow, namely starting from planning (compiling lesson plans, learning tools, observation sheets, and evaluation instruments), research implementation (application of the Problem Based and Learning Model with the help of visual audio media), evaluation (test at the end of each learning cycle using test instruments, and mutual cooperation through observation). The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis. The results of research carried out on 6 students achieved classical completion in cycle I with an average of 66, which is 50% shows that there are 3 students who got a score above 70, and 3 students does not meet completeness standards. Then in cycle II with the achievement of completeness The average is 100%, which shows that all 6 students meet the standards completeness, the application of the Problem Based and Learning Model is effective in improving learning outcomes and mutual cooperation attitudes assisted by audio visual media for Phase A Class II students at SDN Slembaran Surakarta for the 2023/2024

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the activities and learning outcomes of Catholic religious education and ethics students on the material of developing a culture of love, so that they can act correctly and appropriately through the Project Based Learning learning model. This research is a classroom action research involving 16 Catholic students of Phase F of SMK Negeri 2 Palangka Raya in the 2023/2024 academic year. The action was carried out in two learning cycles. Data were collected using observation guidelines, tests in each cycle, and analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that in cycle I the average percentage of student learning activities was 69.53% with classical completeness of cognitive learning outcomes obtained at 68.75%, with an average learning outcome score of 76.31. In cycle II, the average percentage of student learning activities was 93.75% with classical completeness of cognitive learning outcomes of 93.67%, with an average learning outcome value of 86.43. Thus, the application of the use of the Project Based Learning learning model with the help of Canva TTS can improve student learning activities and outcomes.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low learning motivation of students at SDN 08 Buluh Merindu. Research Method Using Quantitative The results of the Cycle 1 research showed that students' success rate in understanding the material was 79%. However, only 40% of students reached the new skill level, 50% of students were at the proficient level, and 10% of students were at the adequate level. In cycle 2, research data shows that student learning motivation has reached the set target of 79%. In terms of achieving skill levels, 60% of students are at the advanced level, 30% of students are at the proficient level, and only 10% of students are at the adequate level. The application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method in Catholic Religious Education lessons has been proven to improve student learning outcomes and motivation. The implication of these findings is that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model has been proven to be able to increase student learning motivation in the classroom.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve Catholic religious education learning using a problem based learning model with material involved in environmental conservation for class V students at SDN 39 Jelutung. In the context of the Merdeka curriculum, Catholic religious education in Indonesia is focused on developing religious understanding, moral values ​​and Catholic spirituality for students. The Merdeka curriculum places emphasis on the Pancasila student profile. In this class action research, the author focuses on the dimensions of faith, devotion to God Almighty and noble character which is based on the formation of strong character and mental attitudes in the younger generation, especially in facing complex global challenges. The students who attend SDN 39 Jelutung are students who mostly come from very simple families, with a distance of approximately 3-4 km to school, on foot. Apart from that, one of the problems faced by the world of education is the weak learning process because students are not directed enough to develop their thinking abilities, who only memorize the information given by the teacher. Students' brains are forced to remember and store various information. Classroom learning is more often teacher-centered, so students tend to be more passive in learning activities. Therefore, teachers can provide learning experiences by designing the learning process. One way is to apply the problem based learning (PBL) learning model. The Merdeka Curriculum as an alternative curriculum in overcoming learning setbacks is by preparing and implementing the learning process and developing a curriculum in schools that takes into account the needs and potential of students. The research was carried out using qualitative descriptive methods.
