Abstract

The purpose of this classroom is to determine aspects of learning outcomes and mutual cooperation as well as measure the results of target achievements through the Problem Based Learning model in Class II Phase A of SD Negeri 04 Aris, Capkala District, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The research subjects of the students were II grade students at SD Negeri 04 Aris, totaling 6 students, consisting of 6 male students. The object of the research is the result of learning and mutual cooperation of students in Catholic Religious and Character lessons on the material “The Birth of Jesus” and “Jesus Presented in the Temple of God”. The data collection techniques are observation, tests and documentation. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes and mutual cooperation for class II students on the material “The Birth of Jesus” and “Jesus was Presented in the Temple of God” by applying the Problem Based Learning model. The increase in learning outcomes and mutual cooperation is evidenced by the average score of learning outcomes in Cycle 1 which was 66,67% and Cycle 2 was 86,67%, the scoreincreased by 20% while the average score of mutual cooperation in Cycle 1 was 61,5% and Cycle 2 is 81,5%, score increases 20%.

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar (Emancipated Learning) curriculum requires teachers to think creatively and innovatively in finding solutions to students' various learning problems so that they develop optimally in personality and learning outcomes. The development of these students is within the framework of the Pancasila Student Profile. In this curriculum, teachers have many choices of teaching tools to suit student needs based on projects. One learning model that can be used is Discovery Learning, which helps students get used to finding answers to the problems they face. On this occasion, research using the Discovery learning model was carried out in Class VII B of Yos Sudarso Middle School, Karawang. The aim of the research is to increase students' learning motivation. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Meanwhile, data collection used are questionnaires and interviews.

Abstract

Teachers usually apply lecture and teacher-centred methods during the learning process, making students less able to understand Catholic religious material and tend to get bored. The aim of the research is to determine the increase in mutual cooperation aspects, determine the success of achieving targets, determine the increase in learning outcomes using the Involved Material Problem Based Learning Method. In the Life of Churching among fifth grade students at SD Negeri Banyuagung 1 Surakarta. The research method used is Classroom Action Research with four stages, namely planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection with two cycles in the offline learning process. Research Subjects were students of SD Negeri Banyuagung 1 Surakarta class V Semester 1 of the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 6 people in the period 27 October 2023 to 3 November 2023. The material was Involved in Church Life. Cycles 1 and 2 each have 3 lesson hours. The results of the research show that mutual cooperation activities in each indicator have increased, as seen from the average percentage of 76.88% in cycle 1, increasing to 88.21% in cycle 2. This means that mutual cooperation activities have increased by 11.33%. The learning outcomes show progress after implementing the problem based learning model. It can be seen that in the advanced category the percentage obtained was 17% in cycle 1, increasing to 83% in cycle 2, meaning that in the advanced category there was an increase of 66%. In the proficient category there was a decrease of 16%, from 33% in cycle 1 to 17% in cycle 2. In the decent category there was also a decrease of 50%, from 50% in cycle 1 to 0% in cycle 2. And in the new category it developed there was no change, namely 0% in both cycle 1 and cycle 2. In this case, teachers should use the Problem Based Learning Method as an alternative learning method because it has been proven that this Problem Based Learning Method can improve aspects of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMPN 19 Surakarta. The focus of the research is on the subjects of Catholic Religious Education and Ethics in grade VIII G Phase D. The implementation of this curriculum presents significant challenges for students and teachers, which requires comprehensive improvements to ensure the effectiveness of education in general, and specifically on the subjects of Catholic religious education and ethics to match the spirit of the Independent Curriculum.In overcoming these challenges, the research proposes a solution in the form of an Audio Visual Assisted Discovery Learning Learning Model. This model has been shown to effectively improve learning outcomes (cognitive) and affective outcomes dimensions Have of faith, Learners on two cycles of research. Affective results showed a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II with an average increase in achievement of 15%. Likewise with learning outcomes, showing an average increase in achievement of 15%. Although the Audio-Visual Assisted Learning Discovery Learning Model has proven effective, researchers recommend further evaluation of the model's implementation in various educational contexts. SMPN 19 Surakarta needs to continue to improve learning strategies, increase student engagement, and pay attention to the readiness of teachers and facilities and infrastructure in order to integrate audiovisual technology. Regular training for teachers and intensive support in teacher empowerment are also needed to ensure the success of education transformation in accordance with the spirit of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka curriculum at SDN 03 Nanga Kalan experiences obstacles, especially in the geographical aspect, with access that is difficult to reach, which affects the attitude of students who are tired due to the long journey. This affects the dynamics of learning Catholic religious education in phase A in class 2. Overcoming this, a classroom action research was carried out which was oriented towards a sense of mutual strengthening contained in the Pancasila student profile, namely the mutual cooperation dimension. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the dimension of mutual cooperation and learning outcomes in learning Catholic Religious Education through the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by LKPD. Data collection techniques using observation, written tests, interviews and documentation conducted on 12 children. In cycle 1, the results of observing the dimensions of mutual cooperation based on the average achievement of the instrument obtained an average of 64% and learning outcomes reached 45% reaching KKTP, In cycle 2, the data obtained on the dimensions of mutual cooperation reached 87%, while for learning outcomes 100% of students reached KKTP. The conclusion obtained is that there is an increase in the dimension of mutual cooperation by 23% and an increase in learning outcomes by 65% from cycle 1 to cycle 2. This proves that the application of Problem Based Learning assisted by LKPD is effective for increasing the dimensions of mutual cooperation and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Education is one of the main foundations of a nation's development. Through education, young individuals are prepared to face the challenges of the future, developing the skills, knowledge, and values needed to contribute to the development of society and the country. A religious teacher has dual duties and roles as a preacher and educator. Realizing the tasks that exist within a religious teacher, researchers want to improve the ability of one aspect of students, namely critical thinking. The more often students are trained to think critically during the learning process in class, the more students' knowledge and experience will increase in solving problems inside and outside the classroom. Based on the results of initial observations carried out by researchers in class This can be shown from the number of students who dare to ask questions. Of the 17 students, only 3 people actively asked questions during the learning process. Apart from that, the questions asked by students are still at the memory level and the answers can be obtained from the textbook. Students are also not able to make learning conclusions in their language. Based on the problems above, the author believes that the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills and also strengthen the value of the Pancasila student profile. This research aims to describe the influence of the Problem-Based Learning learning model on critical thinking skills regarding Autonomous Human Beings in class X-1 students at Marsudirini Bogor High School. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this research used observation and written tests. The data analysis technique used consists of data reduction by selecting raw data into information, presenting data in the form of descriptions, tables, and graphs, as well as drawing conclusions using conclusions from research results that refer to the problem formulation. The use of the Problem-Based Learning model according to the syntax which includes orienting students to problems, organizing students to learn, guiding individual or group investigations, developing and presenting results, analyzing and evaluating the problem-solving process, is effective in improving critical thinking skills and participant learning outcomes educated on the subject of Human Autonomous Creatures in class X-1 of Marsudirini Bogor High School.

Abstract

The learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri 29 UPT SP IV for the 2022/2023 academic year are still low because they are only focused on activities such as listening, doing assignments, and relying completely on books resulting in less active learning. As a result, interaction between teachers and students and between students with each other becomes limited, causing learning to be not optimal and having a negative impact on achieving student learning outcomes. The material is delivered through the lecture method, teachers do not relate the material to real situations, and students are less active in the learning process. . This research aims to improve the learning achievement of class IV students and teacher performance in teaching the ten commandments of God as a guide to life by implementing the PBL model at SD Negeri 29 UPT SP IV. This research uses a classroom action research design consisting of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four steps: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data was collected through formative tests and observation and documentation. The results of research in cycle I showed that the average score reached 81.2 with a classical pass percentage of 70.59%. In cycle II, the average score increased to 89.00 with a classical pass percentage reaching 92.16%. The student attendance rate remained high in both cycles, namely 97.39%. Student involvement in learning also increased from 66.28% (high) in cycle I to 76.50% (very high) in cycle II. The teacher performance score increased from 82.25 (AB) in cycle I to 93.58 (A) in cycle II. In this series, it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model is effective in improving student learning achievement and teacher performance in teaching Catholic religious education material and morals about the ten commandments of God as a guide to life in class IV of SD Negeri 29 UPT SP IV

Abstract

Classroom Action Research entitled Improving Learning Outcomes in Religious Education and Character through the Application of PBL Methods in Class III Phase B of SDN 10 Sengoret was carried out to improve the learning outcomes of students in class III phase B of SD Negeri 10 Sengoret, Parindu District, Sanggu Regency. The research was carried out by applying the Problem Base Learning (PBL) learning method. PBL is problem-based learning with a teaching model characterized by real problems as a context for students to learn critical thinking and problem-solving skills and gain knowledge (Aris Shoimin 2014). Meanwhile, according to Kamdi (2007), the Problem Based Learning Model is defined as a learning model that involves students trying to solve problems through several stages of the scientific method so that students are expected to be able to learn knowledge related to the problem and at the same time students are expected to have skills in solving problems. The research was carried out in two cycles with the results of an increase in learning outcomes as indicated by an increase in the percentage of students completing both classically and personally.
