Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of maximum student learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Education Learning Class VC SD Santo Markus II, East Jakarta. The Problem Based Learning Learning Model is designed to activate students in solving a problem. The purpose of this study is to measure the improvement of student achievement and the ability to think of students after applying the Poblem Based Learning Learning Model. This research method is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of one meeting and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The research subject consists of students of VC SD Santo Markus II, East Jakarta, totaling 24 people. Collection techniques in the form of observations, and tests. Indicators Observation Aspects of Creative Thinking Profile of Pancasila Students are a) Producing original ideas or ideas, b) having the ability to think creatively by clarifying and questioning many things, c) seeing something with a different perspective, d) applying new ideas according to the context and e) giving rise to various alternative solutions. The results of this study can be concluded that student learning outcomes in cycle 1 are obtained by 21% of proficient data, 21% capable, 50% feasible and 8% began to develop. Increases in cycle 2 which is the advanced stage of 58%, capable of 25%, feasible 17%and no one is starting to develop. The dimensions of students' creative thinking in cycle 1 obtained 0% data highly developed, 50% developed as expected, 33% began to develop and 17% were developing. Increasing in cycle 2. ie 54% greatly developed, 25% developed as expected, 21% began to develop and no one was in a developing stage. Thus it can be concluded that using the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the aspects of Pancasila Student Profile and Student Cognitive Aspects in Catholic Religious Education Learning in Class VC SD Santo Markus II, East Jakarta.

Abstract

The final of this research is to improve the result of study and attitude of “gotong royong” (mutual collaboration) using the model of problem based learning with the use of model of media game puzzle for the students of second grade of 034 Elementary School in Tarakan. The method of this research is the research in the classroom action. The technic of data analysis is collecting the data, reducing the data, presenting the data and making the conclusion, through the using the method of problem based on learning with the game puzzle model. This research is a respond to the lack of the activeness of the student during the lesson in classroom which will be causing the low of the study result and the attide of “gotong royong” / mutual collaboration which is becoming the one of the profile/ characteristic of “Pancasila” student. By using this method, the research shows the significat result of the study result of student. The increase was quite significant from the results of the first cycle post-test of 63.63 in cycle II to 86.36, namely 22.73% with the advanced category reaching 63.63% in accordance with the target, even exceeding the desired target (50% advanced). Beside of that, this method shows that there is a significant result of “gotong royong”/ “mutual collaboration” attitude among the student: 87,5%. The result of this reaserch is focusing on the effectivity in increasing the quality of classroom lesson. By involving the student actively and pushing the “gotong royong”/ mutual collaboration attitude , the collaboration and creativity during the lesson is not only becoming more interesting but also creating the important social values for the student.

Abstract

The problem in this research is whether discussion and presentation methods can increase learning motivation in class VIIA students at Xaverius Metro Middle School. The research method used was the classroom action research (PTK) method which was carried out at Xaverius Metro Middle School on Class VIIA students totaling 28 students. This research was carried out over two actions (cycles). Data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires and learning outcomes tests. The research results showed that there was an increase in motivation, attitudes and learning outcomes through the use of group discussion and presentation methods for class VIIA SMP Xaverius Metro. The increase in this research is quite significant, namely that the independence of students who are developing has decreased from 1 student (3.57%) in cycle I, and to 0 students (0%) in cycle II. The qualification that stated students were quite independent decreased from 12 students (42.86%) in cycle I, and to 10 students (35.71%) in cycle II. The qualifications that stated independent students decreased from 12 students (42.86%) in cycle I, and to 11 students (39.29%) in cycle II. The qualification that states students are very independent has increased from 3 students (10.71%) in cycle I, and to 7 students (25.00%) in cycle II. Students' attitudes increased significantly from 5 students (17.86%) in cycle I, and to 6 students (21.43%) in cycle II. Qualifications that stated they were good decreased from 23 students (82.14%) in cycle I, and to 16 students (57.14%) in cycle II. The qualifications that stated they were very happy had increased from 0 students (0%) in cycle I, and to 7 students (25.00%) in cycle II. The results of the student learning evaluation showed that it was developing, experiencing a decrease from 3 students (10.71%) in cycle I, and to 0 students (0%) in cycle II. The qualifications that stated they were worthy decreased from 10 students (35.71%) in cycle I, and to 4 students (14.29%) in cycle II. Qualifications stating that they were proficient increased from 7 students (25.00%) in cycle I, and to 9 students (32.14%) in cycle II. The qualifications for proficient increased from 8 students (28.57%) in cycle I, and to 15 students (53.57%) in cycle II. This means that the results obtained have met the criteria for completing the lesson objectives (KKTP).

Abstract

Student activity in learning Catholic Religious Education is still lacking, which has an impact on learning outcomes. This is because in learning activities teachers tend to use conventional methods. A learning method is needed that can stimulate students to be active and able to think critically. This research aims to improve Catholic Religious Education learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Powerpoint for class XIIF1B students. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects were 31 students in class XII F1B SMA Xaverius 1 Jambi. Data collection in this research was carried out using observation and test methods. The collected data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that students' learning outcomes and critical thinking abilities have increased. The learning outcomes in the material on living together in diversity ended with a learning completion percentage of 100% and the students' critical thinking skills had good criteria.

Abstract

Education is a personal relationship between educators and learners. This relationship is referred to as a functional relationship, namely educators as teachers and learners as learning subjects. School is one of the means that can improve the development of students' knowledge. The success of the learning process, especially Catholicism, cannot be separated from the ability of educators to develop learning models that are oriented to increasing the intensity of student involvement effectively in the learning process. The development of the right learning model basically aims to create learning conditions that allow students to learn actively and enjoyably so that students can achieve optimal learning and achievement. Based on existing conditions, teachers can provide learning experiences by designing the learning process. One of the learning models that can be applied is Problem Based Learning (PBL) or problem-based learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Problem Based Learning Model can improve learning outcomes in Class IXA students of SMPK Santa Maria 1 Malang on the Theme of Nobleness of Human Dignity. The type of research carried out is Classroom Action Research (Active Classroom Research). Data Collection Techniques through observations, questionnaires and tests. The data that has been collected is grouped into three types, namely learning management data, student activity data in learning, and student learning outcomes data, and arrive at conclusions by making references to problem formulations. The implementation of learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model and the Use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model can improve the learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education in grade IXA students of Santa Maria Catholic Junior High School 1 Malang.

Abstract

Education is very important in this era of globalization and is even included in the basic needs of every human being because by obtaining education humans will be able to improve their quality of life. Education is also one of the supporting factors for a country's progress, with a country's high level of education it can produce quality human resources and contribute to developing the country. Catholic Religious Education is an effort made so that students have the ability to build a more faithful life. Christian and devoted to God Almighty in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church. Building a life of Christian faith means building loyalty to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which has a single concern, namely the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is a situation and event of salvation: a situation and struggle for peace and justice, happiness and prosperity, brotherhood and loyalty as well as environmental preservation, which is longed for by everyone from various religions and beliefs. Catholic Religious Education lessons are also not included in the subjects that take part in the State Examination. This causes students to underestimate Catholic Religious Education lessons. In situations like that, teachers must be good at creating situations, creative and good at having methods so that PAK learning can be more interesting and arouse students' interest. Based on the researcher's experience of teaching at SMK N 1 Kelam Permai, many students obtained below average learning outcomes and students had little interest in the Catholic religious learning process. They were less interested in participating in PAK learning. They also underestimate PAK learning because they prioritize other subjects. To overcome the problems mentioned above, one of the alternatives proposed by researchers is learning using the Problem Based Learning model with the reward method, which aims to ensure that students' learning outcomes are good and they have a high interest in learning. The Redward method intended in this research is an educational tool for educational efforts to achieve satisfactory learning outcomes and change students' interest in learning for the better. By giving this prize, it is hoped that students will be more interested in participating in lessons, especially in studying material about the Church as God's people. The objectives of this research are 1). PBL learning using the reward method on Church material as God's people can improve student learning outcomes creatively. 2). Increasing creative student learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Education by providing rewards for church material as God's people.3). Knowing students' reactions to the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method by providing rewards to improve students' creative learning outcomes and interest in phase F of SMK N 1 Kelam Permai. In particular, in the material "The Church as God's people" it is hoped that students will be able to find themselves, recognize and accept themselves as members of God's people, and work together in efforts to develop themselves as members of the Church in accordance with God's plan. The Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model by providing rewards can overcome problems in motivating students to be more creative in learning. Redward's way of working is in accordance with the way students learn and encourages students to be more enthusiastic and creative in learning so as to improve student learning outcomes, especially in Catholic religious education.

Abstract

The Discovery Learning learning method is an effort carried out by the teacher to make students more active and discover their own knowledge, experiences, related to the material provided by the teacher when learning takes place both in real classes and digital classes (Class Room). The aim is to train students to be active, skilled, brave, creative, and have the power to think critically and analytically in solving every problem that arises in their daily lives, especially in every lesson material provided. The Discovery Learning Method assisted by this Learning Module is applied to PAkat Phase learning. F, where all students are given the opportunity to share with their friends in groups and are responsible for carrying out each assignment given, and collecting each assignment on time. The increase in student activity and skills in cycle I to cycle II is seen to have increased, as evidenced by this, from an average percentage score of 75.% to an average score of 80.75 in cycle II and with 100% student attendance from cycle I to cycle II. Likewise with students' grades, the results of corrections from peers and the principal show an increase in changes in behavior and increased attendance, as well as increased student grades. From the results of these observations, the author believes that the Discovery Learning Method Assisted with Learning Modules has been proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes, especially in Catholic Religion lessons in Phase F, at SMAN 1 Katingan Tengah School. Improving speaking skills and analyzing questions, material in Catholic Religious Education lessons And Characteristics have increased and have a very strong influence on other subjects, and it is certain that students' apective, psychomotor and cognitive scores have increased satisfactorily. PAK and Competency test student scores are 100% above the KKM. In preparing this classroom action research report, the researcher is fully aware that there are still many shortcomings and errors in expressing ideas and sentences. Therefore, the author really hopes for suggestions and criticism that support improving subsequent research. Finally, the author hopes that this classroom action research can be useful for the development of the world of education in Indonesia, especially in Katingan Regency, Central Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the material "Preserving the Natural Environment" in class III of SD Negeri 17 Tomok, Simanindo District, Samosir Regency. So, to overcome this problem, researchers used the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. With the aim of improving student learning outcomes by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This research method is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The research subjects consisted of 4 class III students. Collection techniques include documentation, observation and tests. The results of this research can be concluded that student learning outcomes in the community element material are Preserving the Natural Environment. Cycle I Meeting 1 was 50% with Newly Developing (BB) criteria. In Cycle I Meeting 2 student learning outcomes increased, namely 74% with the Eligible criteria. In Cycle II, Meeting 1, student learning outcomes increased to 85% with the Cakap criteria. In Cycle II, Meeting 2, student learning outcomes increased to 89% with the Proficient criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the Material of Preserving the Natural Environment in class III of SD Negeri 17 Tomok.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is experiencing very dynamic developments and changes which are in accordance with the noble ideals of the nation as regulated in the 1945 Constitution article 31 paragraphs 1-4 which states that every citizen has the right to education, every citizen is obliged to attend basic education and the government is obliged to finance it. Education is a complex series of events. This event is a series of communication activities between humans and other elements, so that humans develop as individuals. Education is also explained in the National Education System Law Number 20 of 2003 article 3 regarding the function and objectives of education, namely developing abilities and forming a dignified national character and civilization in order to make the life of the nation intelligent and aims to develop the potential of students to become human beings who believe. and have faith in God Almighty, have noble character, be competent, creative, independent and be citizens of a democratic and responsible country. This then became one of the aspirations of SMA Negeri 1 Sokan to form and develop students so that they not only progress together and succeed together but more than that are able to become students who are useful for society in particular and the country and the nation in general.
