Abstract

A school is required to meet educational standards which include academic excellence, accreditation, a good curriculum, competent or professional teachers, effective educational technology, high graduation rates. In addition to high academic demands, schools must also be able to meet the standards of human development. So there are two orientations in education, namely the orientation of academic achievement and the orientation of human development. In short, it can be said that the orientation of academic achievement is obtaining graduation in the highest ranking nationally and even internationally, being able to master science and being able to enter well-known universities. Indeed, education on the one hand is required to achieve superior academic achievement (first orientation), on the other hand education must also help students achieve human development (second orientation). So one alternative in bridging the two orientations, teaching staff need to recognize and innovate learning in order to be able to deliver students with creative methods that also bring the humanities spirit in education itself.

Abstract

One of the prayers that must be mastered by fifth graders is the Lord's Prayer. The limited hearing of deaf students is one of the causes of students' inhibition in mastering the Lord's Prayer at SLB N 1 Bantul. Learning through the Complete Sentence Lectora model aims to improve the ability to express faith through the Lord's Prayer. The initial stage of the Complete Sentence Lectora learning system is carried out orally. The spoken language is then clarified with visual reinforcement in the form of written language from Lectora media. This classroom action research was conducted on the fifth grade deaf students with one student as the respondent. The data obtained through observation, interviews, oral and written tests were processed by qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the Complete Sentence Lectora model could improve the ability of deaf students to express the Lord's Prayer. The system of mastering the Lord's Prayer in the Missal Romanum begins with improving the ability to compose word puzzles, arrange random sentences and then complete missing sentences. The ability to fill in gaps increased from 20% to 65% then in the third stage it reached 95%. Conclusion: The Complete Sentence Lectora method is proven to improve the ability to master the expression of the Lord's Prayer in deaf students. Suggestion: Complete Sentence Lectora method can be applied to rote material that can be expressed

Abstract

Understanding God's Work of Salvation material for second graders is difficult because the material is abstract. This is evidenced by the low motivation and learning achievement of students, which is only an average of 73. below the KKM score of 75. In order to increase the average learning achievement, a fun learning method is needed so that abstract material can be understood by students. The purpose of this research is to increase motivation and learning achievement by using experiential narrative method. Learning begins by telling various stories, which are taken from personal experience or folklore combined with stories from the Bible related to the material of God's Work of Salvation. This classroom action research was conducted at SD Negeri Srondol Wetan 06 class II, with three cycles and the number of students 3. The research variables were student motivation and achievement. Data obtained through observation and test techniques, and processed by descriptive analysis. The results showed that students' learning motivation increased from 82.5% in the first cycle to 86.8% in the second cycle and 92.25% in the third cycle. While learning achievement also increased from the first cycle the class average of 83.3 to 86.6 and 93.3 in the third cycle. Conclusion: experiential narrative method is proven to increase motivation and average learning achievement. Suggestion: the experiential narrative method can be applied to other subjects that have almost the same characteristics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada realitas pembelajaran agama di SMA PIRI 1 yang lebih menonjolkan pada kesalehan pribadi, kurang peka terhadap persoalan sosial kemanusian dan lingkungan. Selain itu model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan cenderung berorientasi pada aspek kognitif teoritis dan memberi porsi lebih terhadap formalitas agama (fiqih). Akibatnya pembelajaran agama terasa kering dan kurang mampu menyentuh perasaan beragama (religious mind) peserta didik. Nilai nilai agama belum mampu menjadi landasan yang kokoh bagi peserta didik dalam mengarungi dinamika hidup bersama di tengah arus perubahan yang begitu cepat dan penuh tantangan. Proses penelitian tindakan ini mengikuti alur: penentuan masalah, perencanaan, tindakan dan refleksi dalam tiga siklus. Data penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Sumber data adalah pengajar sekaligus peneliti, peneliti pendamping (guru bidang studi lain), observer (alumni) dan peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengamatan partisipatif, wawancara dan analisis dokumen. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah guru peneliti sebagai key instrument, catatan lapangan, alat perekam data (camera dan tape recorder), hasil evaluasi siswa, Observasi serta lembar refleksi. Secara keseluruhan tindakan ini berhasil dilaksanakan melalui 3 siklus dan memberi dampak sighnifikan terhadap suasana pembelajaran dan peserta didik. Pembelajaran agama terasa menyenangkan dan bercitarasa karena peserta didik terlibat penuh baik secara fisik, kognitif, afeksi dan sosial. Belajar dari pengalaman terjadi proses mengubah pengetahuan agama yang kognitif menjadi makna dan nilai. Belajar dari pengalaman lebih humanis, karena menempatkan partisipan belajar sebagai subyek belajar.Proses belajar bersama guru murid melalui satu peristiwa kehidupan/pengalaman membuat pola hubungan guru dan peserta didik lebih cair,bersahabat dan setara. Memberikaan ketrampilan berfikir tingkat tinggi karena peserta didik mendapatkan kesempatan untuk berkomunikasi, berinteraksi, menganalisis dan berefleksi. Peserta didik menemukan kesadaran dari dalam dirinya untuk bertanggungjawab terhadap perilaku seksualnya.Peserta didik menemukan kesadaran yang mendorongnya untuk berkontribusi terhadap persoalan regenerasi yang berkualitas dan bermartabat. Peserta didik menemukan kesadaran kemanusiaanya, bersyukur betapa dia telah terlahir dengan sempurna.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi dimensi budaya organisasional terhadap kinerja guru. Ada empat dimensi budaya organisasional, yaitu clan culture, adhocracy culture, market culture, dan hierarchy culture. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri Wilayah Barat Kabupaten Kendal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua guru-guru SMA Negeri Wilayah Barat Kabupaten Kendal, yaitu SMA N1 Weleri, SMA N1 Rowosari, SMA N1 Cepiring, dan SMA N1 Gemuh. Jumlah populasi adalah 114 guru. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, yaitu deskripsi responden dan deskripsi variabel. Selain itu digunakan analisis kuantitatif yang meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji model, uji R2 dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa clan culture berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, adhocracy culture tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru, market culture tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru, dan hierarchy culture berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.

Abstract

This paper discusses the views of Abdulrahman Wahid (Gus Dur), Muhammad Jusuf Kalla, and . regarding the concept of religious moderation in the perspective of Pluralism, Ideology (Pancasila), and in Education. This paper departs from the interpretation of religious texts that need to be traced socio-historically into scientific literature that can be used as a synthesis of religious moderation in Indonesia. To find out their views on the concept of religious moderation, the authors use a literature study approach obtained from journals and books related to the concept of moderation from the three figures above. The results of this study conclude that first, the perspective of Abdulrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) is religious moderation as a conception that can build tolerance and harmony in order to strengthen national unity and integrity. Second, the perspective of Muhammad Jusuf Kalla that religious moderation must begin with a sense of brotherhood, both brotherhood between religious communities, brotherhood in the nation and state, as well as brotherhood between fellow human beings and mutual respect in the sense of giving freedom in carrying out their respective worship, not mutually exclusive. insulting so that unwanted violence does not arise in religion

Abstract

This study aims to determine, describe, and analyze the role of pesantren in implementing the spirit of tolerance of the millennial generation santri in traditional pesantren as a resolution of the turbulence of globalization. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The research location is the Roudhotus Sholihin Sayung Islamic Boarding School, Demak. The results of this study are the students of this traditional Islamic boarding school have a spirit of tolerance which is marked by their knowledge of the position of Pancasila as the basis of the state. The students are also able to practice the precepts in Pancasila, have knowledge of the concept and meaning of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, respect differences, use the Indonesian language, respect the flag, maintain the integrity of the country, and ward off radicalism and terrorism. The role of Islamic boarding schools in implementing the spirit of tolerance is the implementation of the commemoration of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, the distribution of students' bedrooms fairly, the use of Indonesian language, the implementation of grave pilgrimages, and the commemoration of religious holidays. Pesantren's efforts in maintaining the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and building the spirit of nationalism are communication media literacy, revitalization of pesantren discipline, organizing bahsul masail, and socializing the vision and mission of the pesantren

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the low learning outcomes of students are caused by students having difficulty relating and understanding the meaning of the scriptures in examples of daily life, the lack of attention of students when the teacher gives explanations related to learning materials, the learning method used by the teacher is the lecture method so that learning be focused on the teacher only (teacher-centered). This study aims to: 1) to determine the effect of student collaboration using the STAD method assisted by LKS on student learning outcomes, 2) to determine the difference in learning outcomes after and before using the STAD method assisted by LKS, 3) to determine the effectiveness of the STAD method assisted by LKS on student learning outcomes. This type of research is pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. This study used only one group, namely the experimental group and the sample used was 10 people, namely, grade 3 SD Kebon Dalem Semarang. This group used 2 measurements, namely the pretest was carried out to determine the students' initial understanding before the LKS-assisted STAD method was applied, then the posttest was carried out after the LKS-assisted STAD method was applied. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that: 1) there was an effect of student collaboration using the STAD method assisted by LKS by 82%, 2) there was a significant difference in the application of the STAD method assisted by LKS on learning outcomes, seen from the acquisition of a sig (2- tailed) score of 0.000 means accepting H1 and rejecting H0, 3) ​​an increase in learning outcomes with an interpretation of the effectiveness of N-Gain by 74% is included in the category of quite effective in using the STAD method assisted by LKS.

Catholic Religious Education and Teaching Study Program, St. Francis Assisi Pastoral College semarang. Supervisor I FR. Wuriningsih, S.Pd, MSc.Ed, and Supervisor II Dr. Hartutik, M.Pd. This research is backgrounded by the low learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education because the learning activities of students are still monotonous so that the learning of Catholic religious education is less in demand by students. The purpose of this study is to determine the Effectiveness of the STAD Method Assisted by Audio Visual Media against the Sense of Learning Responsibility of PAK Class V Students of SD Kebon Dalem Semarang,. Therefore, students are expected to be active, responsible, and creative in learning Catholic education, the type of research used is Pre-experimental (quantitative) research in the form of One Group Pretest-Postest Design, which is an experiment whose implementation only involves one class as an experimental class without a comparison class. The instruments used at the time of the study were student observation sheets on responsibility, and learning outcomes tests to determine the achievement of student learning outcomes towards Catholic education.

Abstract

Traditions that already live in com-munities are not all based on religious teach-ings. Some traditions have disagreements that conflict with religious teachings. Humans as moral beings are required to act intelligently in response to tradition and religion. The attitude of the people of the Sambiroto Church demonstrates mutual respect for and ac-ceptance of the implementation of the ful-filling of the birth held within the confines of the Sambiroto Church. Involvement and par-ticipation in the carrying out of the womb strengthen the relationship between neighbor and Lord. The study aims to examine the atti-tudes of the people, relevance, and views of the Sambiroto Church on the birth anniver-sary. The study USES a descriptive quantita-tive approach. The subject of this study is par-ish priest, deacon, and ward leader. Data col-lection techniques using angkets, interviews, and documentation. The people's review of the anniver-sary of birth in the Sambiroto Church is linked to the attitudes of the people reaching 48%. The results indicate a positive response to the birth in the Sambiroto Church. Relevance of birth length scores 72%. This result indicates that meras still have relevance for birth. The Sambiroto Church's view scored 56%. The result indicates that the Church of Sambiroto accepted the traditions of the people and helped to approach the traditions of the Cath-olic faith. In view of the results of this study, both the parish and the parish priests respond-ed.
