Abstract

Monjulika Chakma's entrepreneurial foray with Bain Textile in 1965 within Bangladesh's Chittagong Hill Tracts marked more than just a business venture; it underscored the transformative capabilities of social entrepreneurship. Anchored on a vision to champion female weavers of the region, Chakma not only propelled the intricate art of traditional Chakma fabrics to prominence but also paved the way for socio-economic upliftment and cultural preservation. Despite humble beginnings and myriad challenges – from scarce weaving resources to the complexities of marketing in a geographically remote area – Chakma's resilience and adaptability catalyzed Bain Textile's ascent. This paper unravels Bain Textile's trajectory, highlighting its role in preserving Chakma heritage, engendering female empowerment, and fostering community development. Drawing upon Chakma's innovative strategies and collaborative ethos, the study underscores the imperative of tenacity, co-creation, and experimentation within the sphere of social entrepreneurship. Chakma's Bain Textile emerges not just as a business archetype but as a testament to entrepreneurship's potential as a conduit for societal change and cultural reverence

Abstract

One of the problems that is often faced by MSMEs is the calculation of production time which makes management look bad. The calculation of the cost of production is very helpful in determining the selling price of a product, so the company must calculate the cost of production first. After the cost of production is obtained, the company can determine the selling price of the products sold to customers. Determining the selling price that is not right can cause losses if the selling price is too low and cannot cover the production costs that have been incurred. The location that is the object of this review is Rumah Tempe Indonesia. This research is expected to provide an overview of the calculation of the cost of goods manufactured and the determination of the selling price correctly in accordance with applicable accounting rules. Rumah Tempe Indonesia (RTI) is one of the MSMEs involved in the tempe processing industry which is owned by KOPTI Bogor Regency. The results of this review indicate that the cost of production of tempe bacem according to Rumah Tempe Indonesia is not in accordance with cost accounting standards so that the selling price is set lower than the selling price calculated according to cost accounting standards. The calculation of the cost of production carried out by Rumah Tempe Indonesia is not yet detailed, so the profit generated is not maximized. The calculation of the selling price used by Rumah Tempe Indonesia is also not correct because the price set is in accordance with market competition prices while the selling price calculation is according to accounting standards which is higher than the calculation of Rumah Tempe Indonesia

Abstract

Understanding the position and function of Indonesia can be the basis for fostering a spirit of nationalism among young people and students. In this case, Indonesian has two positions, namely as a national language and a state language. In its position as a national language, the language functions as a symbol of national pride, national identity, a means of communication between citizens, between regions and between cultures, and a means of unifying ethnicity, culture and language in the archipelago. Meanwhile, in its position as a state language, Indonesian functions as an official state language, a language of education, a means of communication at the national level and a tool for developing culture, science and technology. Remembering the importance of the position and function of the Indonesian language, the author invites young people and students to maintain and continue to develop so that the Indonesian language continues to survive and develop in the future

Abstract

Mathematical resilience is a person's ability to handle difficulties in solving problems related to mathematical concepts. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' mathematical resilience in pure mathematics-based courses. This research is a quantitative qualitative research, with students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo who have and/or are taking pure mathematics-based courses in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year as the research subject. Mathematical resilience’s data was taken by using a questionnaire instrument. The results of the study show that classically the majority of students have moderate category of mathematical resilience. If viewed from each indicator, the results of the study show that in indicators 1, 2, 5 and 6 the majority of students have medium category resilience. While indicators 3, 4, 7 and 8, the majority of students are in the high category.
